Description

    Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to a container, more specifically to a container that is capable of being made of a single material, thereby being easily recycled, and capable of ejecting a content evenly therefrom.
  • Background Art
  • As technologies are developed, contents such as cosmetics have various new formulations, and therefore, containers for storing and ejecting such contents with various formulations are actively developed and suggested.
  • Conventional containers are made of a combination of two or more materials according to their purpose. For example, if a pump is used to eject a content from a container, a spring is provided. In this case, generally, the spring is made of a different material (e.g., metals such as iron and the like) from other parts constituting a container body and the pump, so that the respective parts of the container are not formed unitarily with one another, which undesirably causes the spring to be made separately and coupled additionally to other parts. This makes the container complicated in configuration and increases a manufacturing cost of the container. In the case where the content of the container is used up, further, the spring is first removed from the container so as to recycle the container, and after that, the container is recycled, which causes many inconveniences in recycling the container.
  • In the case of the conventional containers, furthermore, the content is stored in the container body and ejected, when a cap is opened or using a pump. In this case, however, it is hard to eject a constant quantity of content from the container.
  • Disclosure Technical Problem
  • Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems occurring in the related art, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a container that is capable of being made of a single material, thereby being easily recycled.
  • It is another object of the present invention to provide a container that is capable of ejecting a content evenly therefrom.
  • The technical problems to be achieved through the present invention are not limited as mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned herein will be obviously understood by one of ordinary skill in the art through the following description.
  • Technical Solution
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, a container may be provided. The container may include: a body for storing a content therein; a cap separably mounted on the body; a pump assembly for sucking and discharging the content stored in the body; and an ejection part coupled to the upper end of the pump assembly to eject the content discharged from the pump assembly, wherein the ejection part may include: a pushing plate pressed by an external force to operate the pump assembly; a tip located at the central portion of the pushing plate in such a way as to allow a top thereof to be spaced apart from the pushing plate by a predetermined distance; and a plurality of ejection holes formed on a side periphery of the tip to eject the content discharged from pump assembly to a space between the top of the tip and the pushing plate.
  • Advantageous Effects of Invention
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, the container is configured to be made of a single material, thereby making it easy to be recycled and being thus eco-friendly.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, further, the container is configured to eject a content evenly therefrom.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, further, the container is configured to prevent the content from being brought into contact with the pump assembly, thereby being sanitary in use and minimized in contamination.
  • The effectiveness of the invention is not limited as mentioned above, and it should be understood to those skilled in the art that the effectiveness of the invention may include another effectiveness as not mentioned above from the detailed description of the present invention.

  • Terms, such as the first, the second, and the like, may be used to describe various elements, but the elements should not be restricted by the terms. The terms are used to only distinguish one element from the other element.
  • In the description, when it is said that one element is described as being "connected" to the other element, one element may be directly connected or coupled to the other element, but it should be understood that another element may be present between the two elements. When it is said that one portion is described as "includes" any component, further, one element may further include other components unless no specific description is suggested.
  • Thus, the appearances of the phrases "according to an embodiment," or the like in various places throughout this specification are not necessarily all referring to the same embodiment.
  • Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
  • FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing a container according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view showing the container according to the embodiment of the present invention.
  • As shown in FIGs. 1 and 2, a container 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention largely includes a cap 110, a body 120, a pump assembly 130, and an ejection part 140.
  • The cap 110 is coupled to the pump assembly 130 in such a way as to be separable from the body 120. The cap 110 has a concave insertion portion 111 on top thereof to insert a pushing plate 141 of the ejection part 140 as will be discussed later thereinto and a through hole 112 at the central portion of the concave insertion portion 111. In this case, the shape of the concave insertion portion 111 is equal to that of the pushing plate 141 so that the pushing plate 141 is inserted into the concave insertion portion 111. Further, the cap 110 has a cover 113 on one side of top thereof in such a way as to open and close the concave insertion portion 111. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the cover 113 is opened and closed by means of a hinge, and the parts constituting the cap 110 are formed unitarily as one piece by means of injection molding. In this case, the hinge may include a butterfly type hinge.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, as the parts constituting the cap 110 are formed unitarily as one piece by means of injection molding, they can be made of the same material. Therefore, a manufacturing process is simplified, and a manufacturing cost is reduced. Further, there is no need to separate and throw away the cap 110, which makes the container 100 easily recycled and ecofriendly.
  • The cap 110 includes first coupling means for coupling the body 120 thereto. For example, a screw thread is formed on the inner periphery of the cap 110 in such a way as to be coupled to a screw thread of the body 120. Further, the cap 110 includes second coupling means for coupling the pump assembly 130 thereto. For example, a fitting protrusion is formed on the inner periphery of the through hole 112 in such a way as to be coupled to a fitting protrusion or fitting boss of the pump assembly 130. The first coupling means and the second coupling means may be free in shape, without being limited to the screw thread, the fitting protrusion, and the fitting boss.
  • The body 120 provides a space for storing the content therein. The content stored in the body 120 is sucked and discharged by means of the pump assembly 130, ejected to the outside by means of the ejection part 140, and is finally used by a user. In this case, the content is a liquid or gel type fluid, which includes a cosmetic, a medical content, or a quasi-drug such as toothpaste, but it may not be limited thereto. The content stored in the body 120 may include all types of contents and formulations, without being limited thereto. In the drawings, further, the body 120 has the shape of a bottle, but of course, the body 120 may have various shapes, such as the shape of a tube, without being limited thereto.
  • The body 120, which serves to store the content therein, is open at one side thereof. The first coupling means is provided at the open one side of the body 120 to couple the body 120 to the cap 110. For example, the screw thread is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the open one side of the body 120 and thus coupled to the screw thread of the cap 110. However, the first coupling means may be free in shape, without being limited to the screw thread.
  • The pump assembly 130 serves to suck and discharge the content stored in the body 120. The pump assembly 130 is pressed by means of an external force in such a way as to suck and discharge the content stored in the body 120. In this case, the pump assembly 130 has a suction hose 132 connected thereto in such a way as to extend toward the bottom of the body 120 to thus suck the content thereinto. If the application of the external force to the pump assembly 130 is completed, the pump assembly 130 finishes sucking and returns to its original position by means of an elastic member 131.
  • According to the embodiment of the present invention, the elastic member 131 of the pump assembly 130 is a bellows.
  • Further, the pump assembly 130 is made of a single material. That is, the pump assembly 130 is one material pump. According to one embodiment of the present invention, when the container is recycled, there is no need to separate the pump assembly 130 from the container 100, so that the container 100 is easily recyclable and ecofriendly.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, the content is not brought into close contact with the pump assembly or the elastic member, so that the content is used sanitarily and minimized in contamination.
  • The pump assembly 130 is configured to couple the ejection part 140 adapted to eject the content discharged therefrom to an upper end thereof. In this case, the ejection part 140 applies the external force to the pump assembly 130 and thus ejects the content discharged from the pump assembly 130.
  • The pump assembly 130 has the second coupling means for coupling the cap 110 thereto. Further, the pump assembly 130 includes third coupling means for coupling the ejection part 140 thereto. For example, the pump assembly 130 has a fitting protrusion or boss adapted to be coupled to the fitting protrusion on the inner periphery of the through hole 112 of the cap 110. Further, the pump assembly 130 has a fitting protrusion or boss adapted to be coupled to a fitting protrusion on the ejection part 140. The second coupling means and the third coupling means may be free in shape, without being limited to the fitting protrusion and the fitting boss.
  • The ejection part 140 is coupled to the upper end of the pump assembly 130 and ejects the content discharged from the pump assembly 130. Further, the ejection part 140 receives the external force and applies the received external force to the pump assembly 130. To do this, the ejection part 140 has the pushing plate 141 pressed against the external force to operate the pump assembly 130. The pushing plate 141 is movable up and down by means of the external force and has the shape of a concave dish-like plate corresponding to the shape of the concave insertion portion 111 of the cap 111 in such a way as to be inserted into the concave insertion portion 111 of the cap 110. Even if any given portion of the pushing plate 141 is pressed against the external force, the pushing plate 141 evenly applies the external force to the pump assembly 130. To do this, the pushing plate 141 has an elastic force with a given value or less.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, even if any given portion of the pushing plate 141 is pressed by the external force, the pushing plate 141 evenly applies the external force to the pump assembly 130, so that the content can be ejected conveniently.
  • The pushing plate 141 has a tip 142 at the central portion thereof in such a way as to allow a top thereof to be spaced apart therefrom by a given distance. The top of the tip 142 becomes somewhat slant toward the periphery from the center thereof so that it has a generally convex shape. The periphery of top of the tip 142 has a slant portion on the underside thereof, and the slant portion starts at a thickness of about 1/2 of the thickness of the top of the tip 142.
  • The pushing plate 141 and the tip 142 are fixed to each other and operate, together. The content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is ejected to a space between the pushing plate 141 and top of the tip 142. To eject the content, in this case, a plurality of ejection holes 143 are formed between the pushing plate 141 and top of the tip 142. The content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is ejected to top of the pushing plate 141 through the plurality of ejection holes 143.
  • The plurality of ejection holes 143 are equally spaced apart from one another. According to one embodiment of the present invention, as the plurality of ejection holes 143 are equally spaced apart from one another, the content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is evenly ejected to top of the pushing plate 141. According to the embodiment of the present invention, as the content is evenly ejected, it can be applied to the user's desired place conveniently.
  • The ejection part 140 is configured to allow a diameter of top of the tip 142 to be greater than or equal to a diameter of side periphery of the tip 142, so that the plurality of ejection holes 143 are not recognized on top of the tip 142. In detail, the plurality of ejection holes 143 are covered with the tip 142 or formed on the side peripheral surface of the tip 142. In this case, the plurality of ejection holes 143 are not seen when they are viewed on top of the container 100, and therefore, they are hidden holes. According to one embodiment of the present invention, as the diameter of top of the tip 142 is greater than or equal to the diameter of side periphery of the tip 142, the plurality of ejection holes 143 are not recognized on top of the tip 142, so that they as paths for ejecting the content can be prevented from being contaminated.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, the pushing plate 141 and the tip 142 are formed unitarily as one piece by means of injection molding. As a result, the pushing plate 141 and the tip 142 are made of the same material and thus formed unitarily with each other. Therefore, a manufacturing process is simplified, and a manufacturing cost is reduced. Further, when the container 100 is recycled, there is no need to separate and throw away the pushing plate 141 and the tip 142 from the container 100, which makes the container 100 easily recycled and ecofriendly.
  • According to one embodiment of the present invention, furthermore, at least one or more parts of the cap 110, the pump assembly 130, and the ejection part 140 are made of the same material. For example, the cap 110, the pump assembly 130, and the ejection part 140 are made of polypropylene (PP). As a result, the container 100 can be easily recycled and ecofriendly.
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing an example in which the container according to the embodiment of the present invention is used.
  • As mentioned above, the tip 142 is located at the central portion of the pushing plate 141 in such a way as to allow the top thereof to be spaced apart from the pushing plate 141 by the given distance. The pushing plate 141 and the tip 142 are fixed to each other and operate, together. The content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is ejected to a space between the pushing plate 141 and top of the tip 142. To eject the content, in this case, the plurality of ejection holes 143 are formed between the pushing plate 141 and top of the tip 142.
  • If the pushing plate 141 is pressed by means of the application of the user's external force thereto, it moves down and is thus inserted into the concave insertion portion 111 of the cap 110. In this case, even if any given portion of the pushing plate 141 is pressed by the external force, the pushing plate 141 evenly applies the external force to the pump assembly 130. After that, the pump assembly 130 is pressed against the external force received from the pushing plate 141 to allow the content stored in the body 120 to be sucked through the suction hose 132 extending toward the bottom of the body 120 and to then allow the content sucked to be discharged to the ejection part 140 coupled to the upper end thereof. The content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is ejected to top of the pushing plate 141 through the plurality of ejection holes 143. In this case, as the plurality of ejection holes 143 are equally spaced apart from one another, the content discharged from the pump assembly 130 is evenly ejected to top of the pushing plate 141. According to the embodiment of the present invention, as the content is evenly ejected, it can be applied to the user's desired place conveniently.
  • As described above, the preferred embodiment of the present invention has been disclosed in the specification and drawings. Therefore, persons skilled in the relevant art can appreciate that many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teachings. It is therefore intended that the scope of the invention be limited not by this detailed description, but rather by the claims appended hereto.
