Abstract

The multifunctional screen-style desk offers high stability, a clean and elegant appearance, enhanced privacy, and improved office comfort. It facilitates easy movement, increasing workplace flexibility.

    Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to the field of office furnishings and more specifically to a multifunctional screen-style desk.
  • Background
  • As an indispensable office fixture, desks are no longer limited to simple combinations of legs and tabletops. With continuous improvements in living standards, demands for office environments have increased, leading to diverse desk designs in the market these include movable desks, height-adjustable desks, and screen-structure desks. Many current desk designs often lack adequate privacy for the user, so new solutions are required to better accommodate this demand.

  • Detailed Description
  • Before describing in detail embodiments that are in accordance with the present invention, it should be observed that the embodiments reside primarily in combinations of method steps and apparatus components related to a multifunctional screen-style desk. Accordingly, the apparatus components and method steps have been represented where appropriate by conventional symbols in the drawings, showing only those specific details that are pertinent to understanding the embodiments of the present invention so as not to obscure the disclosure with details that will be readily apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the description herein.

  • The present invention is a multifunctional screen-style desk, that comprises a screen assembly 100, including a rectangular frame 120 formed by four edge columns 110, with decorative panels 130 on both sides forming a hollow rectangular prism of defined thickness. At least two sets of embedded grooves 131 are formed on the decorative panels 130; A desktop panel 300, wherein embedded components 310 connect within the embedded grooves 131. A support rod 320 is fixed between two sets of embedded components 310, and a support arm 330 is fixed to the support rod 320. The desktop panel 300 is secured to the support arm 330. A multifunctional module 400 positioned atop the screen assembly 100, including a baffle 410, a fan 420, and a lighting fixture 430; and support legs 500 are fixedly supporting the bottom of the screen assembly 100.
  • Further improvements include a lifting assembly 200 disposed within the screen assembly 100 includes at least two lifting mechanisms 210. The lifting grooves 211 corresponding to the embedded grooves 131 are formed on the lifting mechanisms 210. One end of each embedded component 310 connects to a lifting groove 211. The lifting mechanism 210 further includes a controller 220 for vertically moving the embedded components 310. Those skilled in the art will recognize that the controller 220 connects to an external power plug 600. The power plug 600 links to a socket module 620 via a power converter 610. The socket module 620 is embedded in the decorative panel 130. The fan 420 and lighting fixture 430 are electrically connected to the power plug 600. Two baffles 410 are arranged back-to-back in a Y-shaped configuration and fixed via a snap-fit module 440 to a top edge column 110. Decorative edge strips 111 on side edge columns 110 extend upward to enclose the snap-fit module 440. Support posts 140 are disposed inside the screen assembly 100, with each lifting mechanism 210 clamped between two support posts 140.
  • The decorative panel 130 comprises detachable panel modules 132 mounted via snap-fit strips 150 to the edge columns 110 and support posts 140. Vertical gaps between panel modules 132 form the embedded grooves 131. The baffle 410 is made of sound-absorbing cotton. Ventilation holes 411 for the fan 420 and lamp slots 412 for the lighting fixture 430 are formed on the baffle 410. The fan 420 is fixed to the baffle 410 and covered by an air outlet cover 450. The lighting fixture 430 is embedded in the lamp slot 412. Caster wheels 510 are disposed at the bottoms of the support legs 500.

The Y-shaped baffle 410 curves toward the desktop, enhancing privacy while ventilation holes 411 and lamp slots 412 ensure functional integration while maintaining aesthetics. Claims (10)

  1. A multifunctional screen-style desk, comprising:
    a screen assembly (100), including a rectangular frame (120) formed by four edge columns (110), where decorative panels (130) on both sides of said rectangular frame (120) form a hollow rectangular prism of certain thickness;
    at least two sets of embedded grooves (131) formed on said decorative panels (130);
    a desktop panel (300), wherein embedded components (310) are connected within said embedded grooves (131), and a support rod (320) is fixed between two sets of said embedded components (310), and a support arm (330) is fixed to said support rod (320) where said desktop panel (300) is secured to said support arm (330);
    a multifunctional module (400), positioned atop said screen assembly (100), including a baffle (410), a fan (420), and a lighting fixture (430); and support legs (500), fixedly supporting the bottom of said screen assembly (100).
  2. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to claim 1, further comprising:
    a lifting assembly (200) disposed within said screen assembly (100), said lifting assembly (200) including at least two sets of lifting mechanisms (210), where the lifting grooves (211) corresponding to said embedded grooves (131) are formed on surfaces of said lifting mechanisms (210); one end of said embedded component (310) is connected to said lifting groove (211); and
    said lifting mechanism (210) further includes a controller (220) for vertically moving said embedded component (310).
  3. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to claim 2, where said controller (220) is connected to an external power plug (600), said power plug (600) is further connected via a power converter (610) to a socket module (620); said socket module (620) is embedded in said decorative panel (130); said fan (420) and lighting fixture (430) are electrically connected to said power plug (600).
  4. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to any preceding claim , where two sets of baffles (410) are arranged back-to-back forming a Y-shaped configuration, and are fixedly connected via a snap-fit module (440) to a top edge column (110) of said rectangular frame (120); decorative edge strips (111) are formed on outer surfaces of side edge columns (110) of said rectangular frame (120); said decorative edge strips (111) extend upward to enclose said snap-fit module (440).
  5. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to claim 2 or claim 3, where a plurality of support posts (140) are disposed inside said screen assembly (100); said lifting mechanism (210) is clamped between two of said support posts (140).
  6. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to claim 5, where said decorative panel (130) comprises multiple panel modules (132); said panel modules (132) are detachably mounted via snap-fit strips (150) to said edge columns (110) and support posts (140); in a vertical direction, gaps between said panel modules (132) form said embedded grooves (131).
  7. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to any preceding claim, where said baffle (410) is made of sound-absorbing cotton.
  8. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to any preceding claim, where ventilation holes (411) corresponding to said fan (420) and lamp slots (412) corresponding to said lighting fixture (430) are formed on said baffle (410).
  9. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to claim 8, where said fan (420) is fixed to said baffle (410), and an air outlet cover (450) is disposed outside said fan (420); said lighting fixture (430) is embedded in said lamp slot (412).
  10. The multifunctional screen-style desk according to any preceding claim, where caster wheels (510) are disposed at bottoms of said support legs (500).
