Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to the field of infant product technologies, and in particular, to a seat and a rocking chair including the seat.
- a rocking chair for infants generally includes a seat, a base, and other accessories.
- the rocking chair may not only provide a space for an infant to rest and sleep, but also make the infant have a feeling similar to being hugged by a human body through rocking, so that the infant is willing to sit or lie down in the rocking chair for a long time. Therefore, more and more parents are willing to use rocking chairs to place their children in.
- the rocking chair is generally provided with a strap system, for example, a shoulder belt, a waist belt, a crotch belt, a buckle assembly, and the like.
- the rocking chair there is no need to bind the strap system to the infant's body at all times. Especially when a user (such as a parent of the infant) interacts with the infant in the rocking chair, there is generally no need to use the strap system to secure the infant.
- the strap system When the strap system is not in use, the strap system is generally placed directly within the seat, which affects aesthetics and neatness of the rocking chair. Further, if there is an infant sitting in the seat, the infant's body may press against the strap system, which may affect comfort of the rocking chair. In an extreme case, the strap system may even entangle a body part (such as limbs or head) of the infant, which poses safety hazards to the use of the rocking chair.
- embodiments of the present disclosure provide a seat, including: a bracket; a lower cover connected to the bracket; a strap system including a buckle assembly and a safety strap, an end of the safety strap being connected to the lower cover, and another end of the safety strap being fixed by the buckle assembly.
- the lower cover is provided with a storage groove, and the strap system is at least partially storable in the storage groove.
- the strap system when the strap system is not in use, the strap system can be stored in the storage groove, thereby preventing direct placement of the strap system in the seat and improving aesthetics and neatness of the seat. Further, the strap system is stored in the storage groove, which prevents direct contact of an infant with the strap system, improves comfort of the rocking chair, and fundamentally prevents safety hazards caused by entanglement of a body part (such as limbs or head) of the infant by the safety strap.
- the storage groove is provided at a position of the lower cover corresponding to buttocks of an infant sitting in the seat.
- the storage groove may alternatively be arranged at another position of the lower cover according to an actual requirement.
- the storage groove is a groove formed by recessing at least part of an upper surface of the lower cover downwards.
- a depth of the storage groove is in a range from 12 mm to 30 mm.
- the depth of the storage groove is 20 mm.
- the lower cover is provided with a first through hole, and an end of the safety strap is capable of passing through the first through hole and is connected to the first through hole.
- the seat further includes seat cloth arranged above the lower cover.
- the seat cloth is provided with a connecting belt
- the lower cover is further provided with a second through hole
- an end of the connecting belt is connected to the seat cloth
- another end of the connecting belt is connected to the second through hole
- the seat cloth is provided with a third through hole, and the buckle assembly and the safety strap are capable of passing through the third through hole.
- a partition is provided at a position of the seat cloth corresponding to the storage groove, and an area of the partition is slightly larger than that of an opening of the storage groove.
- the partition is made of polyethylene.
- a thickness of the partition is in a range from 1.2 mm to 1.5 mm.
- a rocking chair is provided.
- the rocking chair includes: the above seat; and a base.
- the seat is connected to the base.
- the strap system is stored in the storage groove, which prevents direct placement of the strap system in the seat, improving aesthetics and neatness of the seat, prevents direct contact of an infant with the strap system, improving comfort of the rocking chair, and further fundamentally prevents safety hazards caused by entanglement of a body part (such as limbs or head) of the infant by the safety strap.
