Abstract
The invention relates to an emergency luminaire (1), comprising a luminaire part (10) with an electronic display (12) for displaying an emergency sign, a mounting frame (30) for mounting the emergency luminaire (1), the mounting frame (30) defining a connecting space (31) for providing an external power connection for the luminaire part (10), and a first hinge element (16) which is designed in such a way that the luminaire part (10) can be moved relative to the mounting frame (30) between a mounting position, in which the connecting space (31) for connecting the power connection fed into the connecting space (31) to the luminaire part (10) is exposed, and an operating position, in which the luminaire part (10) covers the connecting space (31).
Description
- The present invention relates to an emergency luminaire or emergency exit luminaire, comprising a luminaire part with a display for displaying an emergency sign. The present invention further relates to a kit.
- Efficient handling of luminaires usually requires that a customer must assemble the luminaire from modular parts and make electrical connections at the location of operation. This often results in a complex assembly. It is desired to provide improvements in assembly and mounting of the luminaires. Moreover, environmental concerns are driving a requirement for products in general - and thus also emergency luminaire in particular - to be more easily updated, upgraded, maintained and repaired.
- It is the object of the present invention to provide an emergency luminaire that is easy to install and easy to provide service for in use. In particular, a technically and economically improved luminaire is to be specified, having improved maintenance with less installation effort, in compliance with safety standards associated therewith. In particular, the disadvantages of the previously known solutions should be avoided or at least substantially reduced.
- The object is solved by the features named in the independent claims. The dependent claims, the description and the figures relate to preferred embodiments.
- The object is particularly solved by an emergency luminaire, comprising
- a luminaire part with an electronic display for displaying an emergency sign,
- a mounting frame for mounting the emergency luminaire, the mounting frame defining a connecting space for providing an external power connection for the luminaire part, and
- a first hinge element which is designed in such a way that the luminaire part can be moved relative to the mounting frame between a mounting position, in which the connecting space for connecting the power connection fed into the connecting space to the luminaire part is exposed, and an operating position, in which the luminaire part covers the connecting space.
- In other words, for example, a luminaire is proposed that substantially consists of a display, a mount and a hinge. The hinge provides that the mount and the display can be moved between a mounting position and an operating position. In the mounting position, the inside of the mount is exposed so that an electrical connection can be accessed or established easily. In the operating position, the inside of the mount is covered by the display to protect the electrical connection and other components and furthermore provide a safety-conform luminaire.
- The emergency luminaire substantially relates to a luminaire configured for providing an emergency sign in an illuminated manner. The luminaire part has as a core component a display that is capable of electronically displaying signs, e.g. an emergency sign. For example, the emergency luminaire may indicate respectively inform on an escape route and/or an emergency exit; preferably by using a lighted/illuminated display of a respective emergency sign.
- The luminaire part may furthermore have other components, such as a frame for the display. The luminaire part, particularly the display, may substantially have a rectangular shape. The mounting frame is configured for mounting the overall emergency luminaire and may furthermore provide space for electrical connection coming from an outside. The mounting frame typically is furthermore configured for holding the luminaire part while being mounted. The first hinge element may be comprised by the luminaire part or may be separate from the luminaire part. The first hinge element provides movability between the luminaire part and the mounting frame between at least two positions, namely the mounting position where the connecting space is accessible and the operating position where the connecting space is covered. The first hinge element may provide a detachable connection between the luminaire part and the mounting frame. The first hinge element, particularly the first and a second hinge element, may provide a pivoting axis, e.g. for pivoting substantially about an edge of the mounting frame.
- The invention provides a luminaire that is easy to produce and that is easy to install. Furthermore, the luminaire is easy to mount, replace and repair due to the accessibility to the power connection at the backside of the luminaire part with the electronic display.
- The emergency luminaire is typically configured to provide light emission to an area (e.g. of a building or outside area), in which the emergency luminaire is arranged, in case an emergency operation state is present. For example, an emergency luminaire may provide light to an escape route in case of the emergency operation state. The emergency operation state corresponds to a state during which electrical energy supply from mains malfunctions or fails due to an emergency situation. Such an emergency situation may comprise or correspond to a fire in a building leading to interruption of electrical energy supply from mains in a part of the building or the whole building; mains failure etc. Mains may provide an AC voltage of 230 V with a frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
- The emergency luminaire, particularly the mounting frame and the luminaire part, may be adapted to provide a protection for components enclosed thereby against environmental influences, such as dust and water. The emergency luminaire may be configured according to the IP standard (International Protection/ Ingress Protection standard, IEC standard 60529) respectively IP code. The IP code comprises two digits, wherein the first digit indicates the degree of solid particle protection, and the second digit indicates the degree of liquid ingress protection. Optionally, the emergency luminaire may be configured according to IP40, i.e. including a housing providing IP40 protection for the components enclosed by the housing. Components of the emergency luminaire, e.g. a controller and/or an energy storage device, may be arranged in the housing and/or may be enclosed by the mounting frame and the luminaire part, particularly in the connecting space.
- Further, a kit for manufacturing the emergency luminaire is proposed. The kit comprises at least one of the luminaire parts and several types of mounting frames for mounting the emergency luminaire. The mounting frames comprise a mounting frame for wall mounting, and/or a mounting frame for suspended mounting, and/or a mounting frame for covering the connecting space on one side, and/or a mounting frame for covering the connecting space on both sides, and optionally a mounting element and preferably also a pendulum suspension for mounting the mounting frame on a mounting surface. The kit provides that the emergency luminaire can be mounted in a variety of environments.
- The mounting frame may have a mounting aperture for inserting a fastening means, such as a screw or a pendulum suspension. The mounting frame may have two, three or four mounting apertures for inserting a fastening means into each aperture. The mounting aperture may be recessed at the connecting space for providing a receptacle for the fastening means and/or extended opposite to the connecting space for providing a spacer towards a mounting surface. The mounting apertures may be arranged as an array substantially symmetrically arranged.
- The mounting frame may have a rear wall. The rear wall may delimit the connecting space on the side opposite the luminaire part especially in the operating position. The rear wall may include the mounting aperture(s). The rear wall may provide access for the external power connection to the electronic display. The rear wall provides protection for the connecting space from behind the electronic display.
- The emergency luminaire may comprise two of the luminaire parts. The two luminaire parts may be each arranged pivotably on the mounting frame with one of the first hinge elements on opposite sides of the connecting space in order to cover the connecting space on opposite sides in the respective operating position. The two luminaire parts may be configured for pivoting about substantially parallel pivoting axes. In this configuration, the rear wall might be dispensable and/or not present. The luminaire parts may be arranged to face away from each other and/or to be arranged in substantially in parallel in the operating position. The mounting frame may define the connecting space as a common connecting space for both luminaire parts. The connecting space may thus be a passage. In this way, the emergency luminaire can provide an electronic display facing towards different, especially opposite, directions in order to cover a larger with the emergency sign.
- The mounting frame, in particular a/the rear wall of the mounting frame, may have a cable duct for providing the external power connection for the luminaire part. The cable duct may be a cutout in the mounting frame, especially in the rear wall. The cable duct may be arranged at a side of the mounting frame. The cable duct may be larger than the mounting aperture. The borders of the cable duct may be curved and/or angular. The cable duct provides a protected cable entry.
- The mounting frame may comprise a frame section surrounding the connecting space. The mounting frame, particularly the frame section, may comprise a/the second hinge element. The second hinge element may correspond to the first hinge element. The first hinge element and the second hinge element may be configured for providing a/the pivoting axis, especially upon engagement of both hinge elements. One hinge element may be comprised by the mounting frame and the other hinge element may be comprised by the luminaire part. A plurality of first hinge elements and second hinge elements may be arranged in a row, particularly substantially along the pivoting axis to be provided. The first hinge element, however, may as well provide the features of the invention without the second hinge element. The frame section may comprise in sections or in its entirety the cable duct and/or a/the mounting aperture.
- The luminaire part may have a first locking section. The mounting frame may have a second locking section. The mounting frame may have the second locking section corresponding to the first locking section in order to detachably lock the luminaire part relative to the mounting frame in the operating position. The locking sections may be configured for locking or latching, e.g. to reversibly secure the operating position. The locking sections may have sections engaging with each other as a function of a pivoting angle between the operating position and the mounting position. As such, the operating position can be secured by way of pivoting into the operating position and in a fail-safe manner. The locking sections may reversibly latch when the luminaire part covers the connecting space.
- One of the first and second hinge element may comprise at least one recess or cutout. The other of the first and second hinge elements may comprise at least one projection or protrusion for pivotably engaging the at least one recess. The at least one recess and the at least one projection are typically configured correspondingly for the pivotable engagement. As such, the at least one recess may be substantially as wide as the at least one projection, particularly at least 1% wider. The at least one recess and/or the at least one projection may extend along the mounting frame or the luminaire part, respectively, particularly a side thereof. The at least one projection may have a flat shape.
- The at least one recess may be a substantially U-shaped cutout in the luminaire part or in the mounting frame, preferably from a/the frame section of the mounting frame. The mounting frame may form or provide the at least one recess by being cut out in a section. Thus, the at least one recess can be provided easily, especially not by adding parts but even by cutting the luminaire part and/or the mounting frame.
- The at least one projection may widen towards its free end and/or may have a slope on one side in order to slide on the at least one recess during mounting and/or during a rotary/pivoting movement of the luminaire part relative to the mounting frame, preferably in such a way that the luminaire part pushes from the mounting position towards the operating position during an operating orientation of the emergency luminaire. In other words, particularly, the at least one projection may be inclined and/or tapered on a side which particularly enables engagement with the at least one recess as a function of a/the pivoting angle, and which particularly enables that as a function of a/the pivoting angle the luminaire part moves relative to the mounting frame along a/the pivoting axis. The configuration of the at least one projection and the at least one recess may enable that the force of gravity may push the luminaire part from the mounting position towards the operation position automatically, especially when the mounting frame is oriented upright and/or mounted to a mounting surface. This enhances safety in a position like the operating position may be reached automatically.
- The at least one projection may have a tab for engaging behind the at least one recess. The tab may extend on a side of the projection, particularly substantially along a/the pivoting axis. The tab may be arranged adjacent to the slope and/or to the widening section of the at least one projection. The tab may provide a stop in the mounting position and/or in order to keep the mounting frame and the luminaire part attached to one another. The tab helps to provide an easy assembly and disassembly.
- The emergency luminaire may comprise a mounting element for mounting the emergency luminaire on a mounting surface. The mounting frame may be attached to the mounting element in a load-bearing manner, preferably by means of a pendulum suspension, for example via a/the mounting aperture of the mounting frame. The mounting element may provide a base for mounting of the mounting frame. As an example, the mounting element can be mounted a ceiling or a wall and the mounting frame can be attached thereto in a load-bearing manner, e.g. directly and/or via the pendulum suspension. The mounting element may be configured at least in part similar to the mounting frame, e.g. comprising at least one mounting aperture, a cable duct and/or a rear wall. The mounting element may provide the external power connection for the luminaire part. For example, the external power connection may be guided via and/or provided by means of the pendulum suspension. For example, the pendulum suspension may form at least two electrical contacts.
- The mounting frame and/or the luminaire part may comprise sheet metal or is/are made of sheet metal. The sheet metal may include steel and/or aluminum. The mounting frame and/or the luminaire part may be made by means of punching and/or bending. The mounting frame and/or the luminaire part may be coated and/or painted, especially in an electrically insulating manner. The manufacture via punching and/or bending may provide that the first hinge element(s) and particularly the second hinge element(s) may be provided integral to the luminaire part or the mounting frame, respectively. This typically reduces cost and enhances stability compared to providing more manufacturing steps or parts to be combined.
- The electronic display may be an illuminated and/or backlit display. The electronic display may be based on one of the technologies selected from e-ink, LCD (liquid crystal display), TFT (thin-film transistor), plasma, LED (light-emitting diode) and OLED (organic LED). The electronic display may have pixels. The electronic display may be back illuminated from the front and/or from the back. The electronic display may include a controller configured for providing a display signal that particularly is associated with the emergency sign. The controller may be programmable, e.g. in order to include different emergency signs. The controller may comprise or correspond to a processor, microprocessor, controller, microcontroller, field programmable gate array (FPGA), application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) or any combination thereof. The controller may comprise a power supply, e.g. configured for AC/DC conversion.
- The emergency luminaire may comprise an energy storage device, e.g. including a battery and/or an accumulator, for emergency power supply. For the electrical energy supply in case of the emergency operation state the emergency luminaire may be configured to be electrically supplied from the energy storage device (e.g. by means of one or more batteries, which are optionally rechargeable). The emergency luminaire may comprise such an energy storage device. Optionally, the emergency luminaire may further comprise a charging circuit in case the energy storage device is rechargeable, wherein the charging circuit is configured to charge the energy storage device when a normal operation state is present. The normal operation state corresponds to a state during which mains electrical supplies the emergency luminaire, i.e. during which there is not malfunction or failure of the electrical energy supply from mains. Thus, the emergency luminaire may either be in the normal operation state (i.e. electrical energy is supplied from mains) or in the emergency operation state (i.e. sufficient electrical energy for the operation of the emergency luminaire cannot be supplied from mains). In other words, particularly, the energy storage device may be configured for being charged by means of the external power connection and, particularly, for providing power to the electronic display in case of a loss of function of the external power connection, e.g. in case of a power outage. This enhances safety.

Fig. 1A-B show different embodiments of an emergency luminaire 1, each comprising a luminaire part 10 with an electronic display 12 for displaying an emergency sign, a mounting frame 30 for mounting the emergency luminaire 1, the mounting frame 30 defining a connecting space 31 for providing an external power connection for the luminaire part 10, and a first hinge element 16, particularly a plurality thereof. - Particularly, the first hinge elements 16 are designed in such a way that the luminaire part 10 can be moved relative to the mounting frame 30 between a mounting position, in which the connecting space 31 for connecting the external power connection fed into the connecting space 31 to the luminaire part 10 is exposed, and an operating position, in which the luminaire part 10 covers the connecting space 31.
Fig. 1B shows the mounting position.Fig. 3 , for example, shows luminaire parts 10 in operating positions. It can be seen that the hinge elements 16, 46 provide a pivoting axis for pivoting substantially about an edge of the mounting frame 30. - The mounting frame 30 has a mounting aperture 34 for inserting a fastening means such as a screw. The embodiment of
Fig. 1A has one mounting aperture 34 and the embodiment ofFig. 1B has four mounting apertures 34 arranges as an array. Particularly, the mounting apertures 34 are recessed at the connecting space 31 for providing a receptacle for a screw and extended opposite to the connecting space 31 for providing a spacer towards a mounting surface. - The mounting frames 30 of
Fig. 1A-B have a rear wall 32 which delimits the connecting space 31 on the side opposite the luminaire part in the operating position. The mounting apertures 34 are formed in the rear wall 32. With reference toFig. 1B , the rear wall 32 of the mounting frame 30 has a cable duct 36 for providing the external power connection for the luminaire part 10. With reference toFig. 1A-B , the mounting frame 30 comprises a frame section 38 surrounding the connecting space 31. The frame section 38 particularly comprises a second hinge element 46, particularly a plurality thereof. - With reference to
Fig. 1B , the luminaire part 10 has a first locking section 14 and the mounting frame 30 has a second locking section 40 corresponding to the first locking section 14 in order to detachably lock the luminaire part 10 relative to the mounting frame 30 in the operating position. In the shown mounting position, the locking sections 14, 40 are arranged at a distance to each other. -
Fig. 1C shows a detail of the first hinge element 16 and the second hinge element 46 engaging with each other in the mounting position. It can be seen that one of the first 16 and second 46 hinge elements comprises at least one recess 48, namely the second hinge element 46 comprises recesses 48. It can further be seen that the other of the first 16 and second 46 hinge elements comprises at least one projection 18 for pivotably engaging the at least one recess 48, namely the first hinge element 16 comprises projections 18 for pivotably engaging the recesses 48. The recesses 48 are substantially U-shaped cutouts in the mounting frame 30 from the frame section 38 of the mounting frame 30. It is also shown that the luminaire part 10 has behind the electronic display 12 a controller 24. - The projections 18 widen towards their free ends. The projections 18 have a slope 20 on one side in order to slide on the corresponding recess 48 during mounting and during a rotary movement of the luminaire part 10 relative to the mounting frame 30, namely in such a way that the luminaire part 10 pushes from the mounting position as shown in
Fig. 1C towards the operating position during an operating orientation of the emergency luminaire 1 where, for example, the rear wall 32 is oriented vertically. Furthermore, with reference toFig. 1C , the projections 18 have a tab 21 for engaging behind the recesses 48. The tab 21 is arranged adjacent to the slope 20. The tab 21 serves as a stop in the mounting position. The tab 21 may point downwards in the mounting and/or operating position, particularly during the operating orientation. -

Particularly, the mounting frame 30 has a rear wall 32 that delimits the connecting space 31, two mounting apertures 34 for mounting a pendulum suspension 50 and for providing an external power connection for a luminaire part, e.g. the luminaire part 10 ofFig. 2A , and a frame section 38 surrounding the connecting space 31 and including the mounting apertures 34. -
Fig. 2B in the bottom shows a mounting frame 30 for suspended mounting. The mounting frame 30 does not have a rear wall. Particularly, the mounting frame 30 has two mounting apertures (not shown in detail) for mounting a pendulum suspension and for providing an external power connection for a luminaire part, and a frame section 38 surrounding a connecting space 31 and including the mounting apertures. The mounting frame 30, particularly the frame section 38, comprises second hinge elements 46 on opposite sides of the connecting space 31 in order to cover the connecting space 31 on opposite sides with luminaire parts, e.g. two of the luminaire parts 10 ofFig. 2A , in a respective operating position of the respective luminaire part. The connecting space 31 is a passage through the mounting frame 30. - In all mounting frames 30 of
Fig. 2B , the mounting frames 30 have a second locking section 40 corresponding to a first locking section 14 of a luminaire part 10 (cf.Fig. 2A ) in order to detachably lock the luminaire part 10 relative to the mounting frame 30 in an operating position. The frame sections 38 particularly comprise second hinge elements 46 that comprise a recess 48. -
Fig. 3 in the top shows the combination of the luminaire part 10 ofFig. 2A with the mounting frame 30 ofFig. 2B in the top and in an operating position, particularly wherein thereby from a kit an emergency luminaire 1 is manufactured. -

Furthermore, a mounting element 42 for mounting the emergency luminaire 1 on a mounting surface is shown in a detail inFig. 3 in the middle, wherein the mounting frame 30 is attached to the mounting element 42 in a load-bearing manner by means of a pendulum suspension 50 via the mounting apertures 34. -
Fig. 3 in the bottom shows the combination of two of the luminaire parts 10 ofFig. 2A with the mounting frame 30 ofFig. 2B in the bottom and in an operating position, wherein thereby from a kit an emergency luminaire 1 is manufactured. Particularly, a mounting element 42 for mounting the emergency luminaire 1 on a mounting surface is shown inFig. 3 in the bottom, wherein the mounting frame 30 is attached to the mounting element 42 in a load-bearing manner by means of a pendulum suspension 50 via the mounting apertures 34. -
Fig. 3 in the bottom shows that the two luminaire parts 10 are each arranged pivotably on the mounting frame 30 with one of the first hinge elements 16 on opposite sides of the connecting space 31 in order to cover the connecting space 31 on opposite sides in the respective operating position. The two luminaire parts 10 are substantially in parallel to each other and face away from each other in the respective operating position. -
Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of an emergency luminaire 1 comprising a luminaire part 10 in an operating position and with an electronic display 12 for displaying an emergency sign, wherein the emergency sign is being displayed. The emergency luminaire 1 further comprises a mounting frame 30 for mounting the emergency luminaire 1 and defining a connecting space for providing an external power connection for the luminaire part 10, and first and second hinge elements (not shown in detail) designed in such a way that the luminaire part 10 can be moved relative to the mounting frame 30 between a mounting position, in which a connecting space is exposed, and the operating position, in which the luminaire part 10 covers the connecting space. The mounting frame is for wall mounting and for covering the connecting space on one side. -
Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment of an emergency luminaire 1 comprising two luminaire parts 10 each in operating positions and each with an electronic display 12 for displaying an emergency sign, wherein the emergency sign is being displayed. The emergency luminaire 1 further comprises a mounting frame 30 for mounting the emergency luminaire 1 and defining a connecting space for providing an external power connection for the luminaire parts 10, and first and second hinge elements (not shown in detail) designed in such a way that the luminaire parts 10 can be moved relative to the mounting frame 30 between a mounting position, in which a connecting space is exposed, and the operating positions, in which the luminaire parts 10 cover the connecting space. The mounting frame is for suspended mounting. The emergency luminaire 1 further comprises a mounting element 42 and a pendulum suspension 50 for mounting the mounting frame 30 on a mounting surface, such as a ceiling. The shown electronic displays 12 are illuminated and/or backlit displays, based on one of the technologies selected from e-ink, LCD, TFT, plasma, LED, and OLED. The shown electronic displays 12 particularly comprise an energy storage device for emergency power supply.

Claims (15)
- Emergency luminaire (1), comprising• a luminaire part (10) with an electronic display (12) for displaying an emergency sign,• a mounting frame (30) for mounting the emergency luminaire (1), the mounting frame (30) defining a connecting space (31) for providing an external power connection for the luminaire part (10), and• a first hinge element (16) which is designed in such a way that the luminaire part (10) can be moved relative to the mounting frame (30) between a mounting position, in which the connecting space (31) for connecting the power connection fed into the connecting space (31) to the luminaire part (10) is exposed, and an operating position, in which the luminaire part (10) covers the connecting space (31).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the mounting frame (30) has a mounting aperture (34) for inserting a fastening means, such as a screw or a pendulum suspension (50).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mounting frame (30) has a rear wall (32) which delimits the connecting space (31) on the side opposite the luminaire part (10) in the operating position.
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising two of the luminaire parts (10), which are each arranged pivotably on the mounting frame (30) with one of the first hinge elements (16) on opposite sides of the connecting space (31) in order to cover the connecting space (31) on opposite sides in the respective operating position.
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mounting frame (30), in particular a/the rear wall (32) of the mounting frame (30), has a cable duct (36) for providing the external power connection for the luminaire part (10).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mounting frame (30) comprises a frame section (38) surrounding the connecting space (31), and wherein preferably the frame section (38) comprises a second hinge element (46).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the luminaire part (10) has a first locking section (14), wherein the mounting frame (30) has a second locking section (40) corresponding to the first locking section (14) in order to detachably lock the luminaire part (10) relative to the mounting frame (30) in the operating position.
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein one of the first and second hinge elements (16, 46) comprises at least one recess (48, 16) and the other of the first and second hinge elements (16, 46) comprises at least one projection (18) for pivotably engaging the at least one recess (48).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to claim 8, wherein the at least one recess (48) is a substantially U-shaped cutout in the luminaire part (10) or mounting frame (30), preferably from a/the frame section (38) of the mounting frame (30).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to claim 8 or 9, wherein the at least one projection (18) widens towards its free end and/or has a slope (20) on one side in order to slide on the at least one recess (48) during mounting and/or during a rotary movement of the luminaire part (10) relative to the mounting frame (30), preferably in such a way that the luminaire part (10) pushes from the mounting position towards the operating position during an operating orientation of the emergency luminaire (1).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to claim 8, 9 or 10, wherein the at least one projection (18) has a tab (21) for engaging behind the at least one recess (48).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a mounting element (42) for mounting the emergency luminaire (1) on a mounting surface, wherein preferably the mounting frame (30) is attached to the mounting element (42) in a load-bearing manner, particularly preferably by means of a pendulum suspension (50), for example via the mounting aperture (34).
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mounting frame (30) and/or the luminaire part (10) comprises sheet metal or is/are made of sheet metal, in particular is/are made by means of punching and/or bending.
- Emergency luminaire (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the electronic display (12) is an illuminated and/or backlit display, based on one of the technologies selected from e-ink, LCD, TFT, plasma, LED and OLED, in particular comprising an energy storage device for emergency power supply.
- Kit for manufacturing an emergency luminaire (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising:• at least one of the luminaire parts (10),• several types of mounting frames (30) for mounting the emergency luminaire (1), comprising:∘ a mounting frame (30) for wall mounting, and/or∘ a mounting frame (30) for suspended mounting, and/or∘ a mounting frame (30) for covering the connecting space (31) on one side, and/or∘ a mounting frame (30) for covering the connecting space (31) on both sides,• optionally a mounting element (42) and preferably also a pendulum suspension (50) for mounting the mounting frame (30) on a mounting surface.
