Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a roll package including a pallet base, a winding core, and a roll body of an interlayer film for laminated glass.
- Laminated glass in which an interlayer film for laminated glass (hereinafter sometimes abbreviated as interlayer film) is sandwiched between a pair of glass plates is known. The laminated glass is widely used for automobiles, railway vehicles, aircraft, ships, buildings and the like.
- Following production, the interlayer film is wound around a winding core and made into a roll body (for example, Patent Document 1). Also, the roll body is stored in a state of a roll package packaged with a predetermined member until use.
- Patent Document 1:
JP 2022-015080 A - It is conceivable to vertically place a roll body of interlayer film wound around a winding core, on a pallet base to obtain a roll package. The procedure of vertically placing the roll body of interlayer film on the pallet base is, for example, as follows. (1) Prepare a pallet base having a holding member for holding a winding core. (2) Prepare a roll body of interlayer film wound around a winding core, and vertically place the winding core around which the interlayer film is wound on the pallet base in such a manner that the holding member is located inside an open end of the winding core. From the viewpoint of facilitating the operation of vertically placing the winding core on the pallet base, the inner diameter of the open end of the winding core is relatively larger than the outer diameter of the holding member, and a gap exists between the inner peripheral face in the open end of the winding core and the outer peripheral face of the holding member.
- Therefore, the roll body of interlayer film is not stationarily placed completely perpendicularly to the top face of the pallet base (the state that the angle formed by the axial direction of the winding core and the top face of the pallet base is 90°), but is in an inclined state and the pallet base and the roll body of interlayer film come into contact with each other. Contact between the pallet base and the roll body of interlayer film may cause a crease in the interlayer film.
- If an interlayer film in which a crease is generated is used to produce laminated glass, foaming occurs, and optical strain occurs in the laminated glass.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a roll package capable of suppressing generation of a crease in an interlayer film.

Figs. 1 to 7 . -
Fig. 1 is a front view showing a roll package according to the first embodiment of the present invention.Fig. 1 is a front view showing a roll package having the configuration (1). - A roll package 90 shown in
Fig. 1 includes a pallet base 1, a winding core 2, a roll body 3 of interlayer film, a roll body protecting cover 4, a top plate member 5, and a support member 6. For the sake of illustration, inFig. 1 , the roll body protecting cover 4 is indicated by a broken like, and members such as the roll body 3 arranged inside the roll body protecting cover 4 are also illustrated. Also, for the sake of illustration, inFig. 1 , a holding member 12 of the pallet base 1 and a holding member 52 of the top plate member 5 existing inside open ends of the winding core 2 are indicted by broken lines. - The pallet base 1 has a pallet base body 11, and the holding member 12 for holding a winding core. Also, the pallet base 1 has a first surface 1a and a second surface 1b. The first surface 1a and the second surface 1b are surfaces opposed to each other in the pallet base 1. The holding member 12 has a portion that protrudes upside on the first surface 1a side.
- The winding core 2 has openings in both end parts. The winding core 2 has an open end.
- The winding core 2 is arranged such that the holding member 12 is located inside the open end of the winding core 2. Therefore, the winding core 2 is held by the holding member 12. The inner diameter of the open end of the winding core 2 is larger than the outer diameter of the holding member 12.
- The interlayer film is wound into a roll shape on the outer peripheral face of the winding core 2 to give a roll body 3 of interlayer film. The interlayer film is wound into a roll shape on the outer peripheral face excluding both end parts of the winding core 2. Therefore, the roll body 3 is vertically placed on the pallet base 1.
- In the roll package 90, the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 and the roll body 3 are not in contact with each other.
- The roll body protecting cover 4 is a cover that covers the outer surface of the roll body 3. The outer surface of the roll body 3 is covered with the roll body protecting cover 4.
- The top plate member 5 is a member that covers the top of the roll body 3.
- The support member 6 is a member that supports the pallet base 1 and the top plate member 5.
- First, also with reference to
Fig. 2 , the pallet base 1 is described.Figs. 2(a) and (b) are respectively a plan view and a sectional view showing the first example of the pallet base that can be used in the present invention.Fig. 2(b) is a sectional view along the line I-I inFig. 2(a) . - The pallet base 1 has the pallet base body 11, and the holding member 12. Also, the pallet base 1 has a first surface 1a and a second surface 1b. The first surface 1a and the second surface 1b are surfaces opposed to each other in the pallet base 1. The first surface 1a is the upper principal plane of the pallet base 1. The second surface 1b is the lower principal plane of the pallet base 1. The second surface 1b of the pallet base 1 is a plane that comes into contact with a placement plane such as the ground.
- In the pallet base 1, the top face of the pallet base body 11 is the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1. In the pallet base 1, the bottom face of the pallet base body 11 is the second surface 1b of the pallet base 1. The pallet base body 11 sometimes has a gap for reduction of weight. Therefore, there is sometimes a gap in the top face of pallet base body 11. When there is a gap in the top face, the top face of the pallet base body 11 means the top face assuming that the top face of the pallet base body 11 does not have a gap. When there is a gap in the top face of the pallet base body 11, the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 means the top face of the pallet base body 11 assuming that the top face of the pallet base body 11 does not have a gap.
- The size, the shape and the material of the pallet base body 11 are not particularly limited as long as the winding core and the roll body of interlayer film can be placed thereon. - The pallet base body 11 contains, for example, iron, resin, stainless, aluminum, wood or carton. The iron may be plated iron. Examples of the resin include polypropylene and the like.
- The holding member 12 is attached to the pallet base body 11. The holding member 12 may be detachable or may be undetachable from the pallet base body 11. The holding member 12 and the pallet base body 11 may be separable or inseparable from each other.
- The holding member 12 has a portion that protrudes upside on the first surface 1a side of the pallet base 1. The top face of the holding member 12 is located on the upper side than the first surface 1a of the part excluding the holding member 12 of the pallet base 1. The holding member 12 has an opening 12a. By the holding member 12 having the opening 12a, it is possible to reduce the weight of the pallet base 1 compared with the case of lacking the opening 12a. In preparing the roll package 90, the inside of the open end of the winding core 2 is arranged outside the holding member 12 (outside the opening 12a of the holding member 12). In the roll package 90, the inside of the lower open end of the winding core 2 is arranged outside the holding member 12 (outside the opening 12a of the holding member 12). When the pallet base 1 is planarly viewed, the profile of the holding member 12 is circular. However, when the pallet base 1 is planarly viewed, the profile of the holding member 12 may have other shape than a circle. The shape of the holding member 12 is not particularly limited as long as the winding core 2 can be held.
- The outer diameter of the holding member 12 is smaller than the inner diameter of the open end of the winding core 2. A ratio of an absolute value of difference between the outer diameter of the holding member 12 and the inner diameter of the open end of the winding core 2, to the outer diameter of the holding member 12 is preferably 0% or more, more preferably 4% or more, and is preferably 20% or less, more preferably 15% or less. The ratio is represented by the formula: [(absolute value of difference between outer diameter of holding member 12 and inner diameter of open end of winding core 2)/outer diameter of the holding member 12] × 100. When the ratio is the above lower limit or more, it becomes easy to arrange the holding member 12 inside the open end of the winding core 2 in preparation of the roll package 90, so that it is possible to facilitate the operation of vertically placing the winding core 2 on the pallet base. When the ratio is the above upper limit or less, the inclination of the roll body 3 of interlayer film can be effectively suppressed, and it is possible to exert the effect of the present invention more effectively.
- The height of the holding member 12 is preferably 3 cm or more, more preferably 4 cm or more, and is preferably 10 cm or less, more preferably 9 cm or less. When the height of the holding member 12 is the above lower limit or more and the above upper limit or less, it is possible to suppress the inclination of the roll body 3 of interlayer film more effectively, and it is possible to exert the effect of the present invention more effectively. The height of the holding member 12 is the distance from the top face of the pallet base body 11 to the top face of the holding member 12.
- The material of the holding member 12 is not particularly limited. The holding member 12 may be made of metal, may be made of resin, may be made of fiber-reinforced plastic, may be made of wood, and may be made of paper. The holding member 12 made of resin may be made of foam resin.
- The material of the pallet base body 11, and the material of the holding member 12 may be the same or different from each other.
- The pallet base 1 has two holding members 12. The pallet base 1 may have only one holding member 12, may have two holding members 12, and may have two or more holding members 12.
- At four corners of the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1, a member extending upward from the first surface 1a, and for holding the support member 6 may be arranged.
- Next, also with reference to
Fig. 3 , the configuration (1) in the roll package 90 is described. - In
Fig. 3 , the pallet base 1, the winding core 2, and the roll body 3 which are members necessary for describing the configuration (1) of the roll package 90 are illustrated. For the sake of illustration, the holding member 12 arranged inside the open end of the winding core 2 is indicated by a broken line. - The position of the outer periphery of the roll body 3 where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body 3 to the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is shortest is defined as a first position P1. The position of the outer periphery of the winding core 2 where the distance from the first position P1 to the outer periphery of the winding core 2 is shortest is defined as a second position P2. The position of the outer periphery of the roll body 3 where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body 3 to the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is longest is defined as a third position P3. The position of the intersection between the straight line connecting the first position P1 and the second position P2, and the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is defined as a fourth position P4.
- The distance from the second position P2 to the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is defined as A (cm). The distance from the first position P1 to the second position P2 is defined as B (cm). - In the roll package 90 having the configuration (1), C represented by the following formula (C) is more than 0. Therefore, in the roll package 90, it is possible to suppress generation of a crease in an interlayer film.
[Numerical formula 3] - The above C is normally the distance from the first position P1 to the fourth position P4, and is the distance (cm) indicated by C in
Fig. 3 . - In the roll package 90 having the configuration (1), C represented by the formula (C) is more than 0 cm, and preferably 0.5 cm or more. When the distance C represented by the formula (C) is the above lower limit or more, it is possible to exert the effect of the present invention more effectively. The C represented by the formula (C) may be 160 cm or less, may be 100 cm or less, may be 75 cm or less, may be 70 cm or less, may be 60 cm or less, may be 55 cm or less, may be 30 cm or less, may be 20 cm or less, may be 10 cm or less, and may be 5 cm or less.
- The roll body 3 is not stationarily placed completely perpendicularly to the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 (the state that the angle formed by the axial direction of the winding core 2 and the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is 90°). The roll body 3 is stationarily placed in an inclined state (the state that the angle formed by the axial direction of the winding core 2 and the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1 is less than 90°). The roll body 3 is stationarily placed such that the C represented by the formula (C) is more than 0.
- The A is the distance from the second position P2 to the first surface 1a of the pallet base 1. The A is preferably more than 0 cm, more preferably 0.5 cm or more, and is preferably 3 cm or less, more preferably 2.5 cm or less. - As the winding core 2, a conventionally known winding core can be used. The shape of the winding core 2 is a cylinder having openings in both end parts. The winding core 2 has an open end. The winding core 2 has openings in both end parts. It is to be noted that the shape of the winding core 2 is not particularly limited as long as the winding core 2 can be held by the holding member 12. The winding core 2 may have, for example, a cylindrical columnar shape, may have a cylindrical columnar shape having openings in both end parts, and may have a shape other than these shapes.
- The material of the winding core 2 is not particularly limited. The winding core 2 may be made of metal, may be made of resin, may be made of fiber-reinforced plastic, may be made of wood, may be made of paper, and may be made of glass. The winding core 2 made of resin may be made of foam resin.
- The winding core 2 contains, for example, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, paper, glass, fabric, wood or fiber-reinforced plastic. The wood may be bamboo.
- Next, the roll body 3 and an interlayer film forming the roll body 3 are described.
- As the interlayer film, a conventionally known interlayer film can be used. The interlayer film has a one-layer structure or a two or more-layer structure. The interlayer film may have a three-layer structure, may have a three or more-layer structure, may have a four-layer structure, may have a four or more-layer structure, may have a five-layer structure, may have a five or more-layer structure. The interlayer film may have a ten or less-layer structure and may have a five or less-layer structure. The interlayer film may include only the first layer. The interlayer film may include, the first layer, and a second layer arranged on a first surface side of the first layer. The interlayer film may include the first layer, the second layer arranged on the first surface side of the first layer, and a third layer arranged on a second surface side which is an opposite side to the first surface of the first layer.
- The interlayer film may contain a thermoplastic resin, and may contain a thermoplastic resin and a plasticizer. The interlayer film may include a layer containing a thermoplastic, and may include a layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a plasticizer. - The interlayer film may contain other ingredients such as a heat shielding substance, an ultraviolet absorber, an oxidation inhibitor, a coloring agent, a coupling agent, a dispersant, a surfactant, a fire retardant, an antistatic agent, an adhesion adjusting agent (alkali metal salt and alkali earth metal salt and so on), a moisture-proofing agent, a fluorescent brightener, and an infrared absorber, and the like. One kind of the other ingredients may be used alone, and two or more kinds thereof may be used in combination.
- The interlayer film may have a uniform thickness or may have a nonuniform thickness in the width direction of the interlayer film. In an interlayer film having a nonuniform thickness in the width direction of the interlayer film, a crease is likely to be generated in a roll body of the interlayer film, however, in the present invention, generation of a crease in a roll body of interlayer film can be effectively suppressed even if the interlayer film has a nonuniform thickness.
- The roll diameter of the roll body 3 may be constant or various along the axial direction of the winding core 2. In the roll body 3, the roll diameter in the end part on the pallet base 1 side, and the roll diameter in the end part on the top plate member 5 side may differ from each other. In the roll body 3, the roll diameter in the end part on the pallet base 1 side may be larger than or smaller than the roll diameter in the end part on the top plate member 5 side. When the interlayer film is an interlayer film having a nonuniform thickness in the axial direction of the interlayer film, the roll diameter of the roll body 3 normally differs in the end part of the pallet base 1 side and in the end part of the top plate member 5 side.
- A minimum value of the roll diameter of the roll body 3 is preferably 38.5 cm or more, more preferably 35.0 cm or more, and is preferably 73.0 cm or less, more preferably 70.0 cm or less.
- The roll diameter of the roll body 3 means the outer diameter of the roll body 3.
- Next, the roll body protecting cover 4 is described.
- The roll body protecting cover 4 is a member that covers the outer surface of the roll body 3. The roll body protecting cover 4 is used for protecting the roll body 3 from dust or the like. As the roll body protecting cover 4, a conventionally known roll body protecting cover can be used.

- The roll body protecting cover 4 may be made of resin, may be made of paper, may be made of aluminum, and may be made of a composite material of these.
- It is to be noted that the roll body protecting cover 4 need not be used.
- Next, the top plate member 5 is described.
- The top plate member 5 has a top plate member body 51, and the holding member 52 for holding a winding core. As the top plate member 5, a conventionally known top plate member can be used.
- The material of the top plate member body 51 is not particularly limited. The top plate member body 51 may be made of metal, may be made of resin, may be made of fiber-reinforced plastic, may be made of wood, and may be made of paper. The top plate member body 51 made of resin may be made of foam resin.
- The holding member 52 is attached to the top plate member body 51. The holding member 52 may be detachable or may be undetachable from the top plate member body 51. The holding member 52 and the top plate member body 51 may be separable or inseparable from each other.
- The holding member 52 has a portion that protrudes downside on the bottom face side of the top plate member body 51. The holding member 52 has an opening. By the holding member 52 having an opening, it is possible to reduce the weight of the top plate member 5 compared with the case of lacking the opening. In preparing the roll package 90, the inside of the open end of the winding core 2 is arranged outside the holding member 52 (outside the opening of the holding member 52). In the roll package 90, the inside of the upper open end of the winding core 2 is arranged outside the holding member 52 (outside the opening of the holding member 52). When the top plate member 5 is viewed from below, the profile of the holding member 52 is circular. However, when the top plate member 5 is viewed from below, the profile of the holding member 52 may have other shape than a circle. The shape of the holding member 52 is not particularly limited as long as the winding core 2 can be held.
- The outer diameter of the holding member 52 is smaller than the inner diameter of the open end of the winding core 2. A ratio of an absolute value of difference between the outer diameter of the holding member 52 and the inner diameter of the open end of the winding core 2, to the outer diameter of the holding member 52 is preferably 0% or more, more preferably 4% or more, and is preferably 20% or less, more preferably 15% or less. The ratio is represented by the formula: [(absolute value of difference between outer diameter of holding member 52 and inner diameter of open end of winding core 2)/outer diameter of the holding member 52] × 100. When the ratio is the above lower limit or more, it becomes easy to arrange the holding member 52 inside the open end of the winding core 2 in preparation of the roll package 90. When the ratio is the above upper limit or less, the inclination of the roll body 3 of interlayer film can be effectively suppressed, and it is possible to exert the effect of the present invention more effectively.
- The material of the holding member 52 is not particularly limited. The holding member 52 may be made of metal, may be made of resin, may be made of fiber-reinforced plastic, may be made of wood, and may be made of paper. The holding member 52 made of resin may be made of foam resin.
- The material of the top plate member body 51, and the material of the holding member 52 may be the same or different from each other.
- The top plate member body 51 has two holding members 52. The top plate member body 51 may have only one holding member 52, may have two holding members 52, and may have two or more holding members 52.
- Next, the support member 6 is described.
- The support member 6 is, for example, a metal member. The support member 6 stands at four corners of the pallet base 1. By the support member 6, the pallet base 1 and the top plate member 5 are linked. From the viewpoint of supporting the pallet base 1 and the top plate member 5 stably, it is preferred that four or more support members 6 be used for one pallet base 1, and it is more preferred that eight or more support members 6 be used for one pallet base 1. As the support member 6, a conventionally known support member can be used.

The holding member 12 has a portion that protrudes upside on the first surface 1Aa side.
In the roll package 90A, a part of the lower end of the winding core 2 may exist on the upper side than the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A. In the roll package 90A, the entire lower end of the winding core 2 may exist on the lower side than the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A.
- The interlayer film is wound into a roll shape on the outer peripheral face of the winding core 2 to give a roll body 3 of interlayer film. - In the pallet base 1A, the cushioning material 13 is placed on the top face of the pallet base body 11. In the pallet base 1A, the top face of the cushioning material 13 is the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A.
- The material of the cushioning material 13 is not particularly limited as long as the cushioning material 13 functions as a cushioning material. It is preferred that the hardness of the cushioning material 13 be smaller than the hardness of the pallet base body 11. It is preferred that the cushioning material 13 have higher flexibility than the pallet base body 11. It is preferred that the cushioning material 13 have higher cushioning property than the pallet base body 11.
- From the viewpoint of effectively suppression generation of a crease in the interlayer film at the time when the cushioning material 13 and the roll body 3 come into contact with each other, it is preferred that the cushioning material 13 be a polypropylene sheet, a foam polypropylene sheet, a polycarbonate sheet, plastic cardboard, an eco-friendly plastic sheet, or a carton sheet.
- The thickness of the cushioning material 13 may be 1 mm or more, may be 5 mm or more, may be 15 mm or less, and may be 10 mm or less.
- The pallet base 1A has one cushioning material 13. The pallet base 1A may have only one cushioning material 13, may have two cushioning materials 13, and may have two or more cushioning materials 13. For the sake of illustration, a lower end part of the winding core 2 that cannot be seen in front view of the roll package 90A (the lower end part of the winding core 2 arranged inside the cushioning material 13) is also indicated. - As described above, in the pallet base 1A, the top face of the cushioning material 13 is the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A.
- The position of the outer periphery of the roll body 3 where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body 3 to the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is shortest is defined as a first position P1. The position of the outer periphery of the winding core 2 where the distance from the first position P1 to the outer periphery of the winding core 2 is shortest is defined as a second position P2. The position of the outer periphery of the roll body 3 where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body 3 to the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is longest is defined as a third position P3. The position of the intersection between the straight line connecting the first position P1 and the second position P2, and the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is defined as a fourth position P4.
- The distance from the second position P2 to the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is defined as A (cm). The distance from the first position P1 to the second position P2 is defined as B (cm). The distance from the first position P1 to the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is defined as D (cm). The distance from the third position P3 to the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is defined as E (cm).
- The angle formed by the straight line connecting the first position P1 and the second position P2, and the first surface 1Aa of the pallet base 1A is defined as θ.
- In the roll package 90A having the configuration (1), C represented by the following formula (C) is more than 0. Therefore, in the roll package 90A, it is possible to suppress generation of a crease in an interlayer film.
[Numerical formula 4] - The above C is normally the distance from the first position P1 to the fourth position P4, and is the distance (cm) indicated by C in
Fig. 6 . - Configurations such as preferred configurations of the A, the B, the C, the D, the E, and the θ in the roll package 90A are as described in the above "first embodiment", and hence the description is omitted.

- By coextruding the composition for forming a first layer and the composition for forming a second layer and a third layer using a coextruder, a wedge-like interlayer film (1) having a laminate structure of the second layer/the first layer/the third layer was obtained. The obtained interlayer film (1) has a minimum thickness (760 µm) at one end and has a maximum thickness (1260 µm) at the other end. A distance between one end and the other end of the interlayer film (1) was 1 m.
- The following ingredients were mixed, and kneaded sufficiently with a mixing roll to obtain a composition for forming an interlayer film.
- Polyvinyl acetal resin (average polymerization degree: 1700, content of hydroxyl group: 30.5% by mole, acetylation degree: 1.0% by mole, acetalization degree: 68.5% by mole): 100 parts by weight
- Triethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate (3GO): 40 parts by weight
- An amount that is to be 0.2 % by weight in the obtained interlayer film of Tinuvin 326 (2-(2'-hydroxy-3'-t-butyl-5-methylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole, "Tinuvin 326" available from BASF Japan Ltd.)
- An amount that is to be 0.2% by weight in the obtained interlayer film of BHT (2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol)
- The composition for forming an interlayer film was extruded with an extruder to obtain an interlayer film (2) having a one-layer structure. The thickness of the obtained interlayer film was 780 µm (constant). A distance between one end and the other end of the interlayer film (2) was 1 m.
- The obtained interlayer film (1) was wound up into a roll shape on the outer peripheral face of the winding core to obtain a roll body of interlayer film.
- The winding core in the roll body of interlayer film wound around the winding core was arranged so that the holding member in the pallet base (1) is located inside the open end of the winding core. The support member was installed on the pallet base (1) and then the top plate member was installed. In this manner, a roll package was prepared.
- A roll package was obtained in the same manner as that in Example 1 except that the configuration of the roll package was changed to those shown in the following Tables.
- In the obtained roll package, the following distance (dimension) and angle were measured, and the following C was determined.
-
- A: distance (cm) from the second position P2 to the first surface of the pallet base
- B: distance (cm) from the first position P1 to the second position P2
- D: distance (cm) from the first position P1 to the first surface of the pallet base
- E: distance (cm) from the third position P3 to the first surface of the pallet base
- θ: angle (°) formed by the straight line connecting the first position P1 and the second position P2, and the first surface of the pallet base
- The first position P1, the second position P2 and the third position P3 are the following positions.
- First position P1: the position of the outer periphery of the roll body where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body to the first surface of the pallet base is shortest
- Second position P2: the position of the outer periphery of the winding core where the distance from the first position P1 to the outer periphery of the winding core is shortest
- Third position P3: the position of the outer periphery of the roll body where the distance from the outer periphery of the roll body to the first surface of the pallet base is longest
- From the measurement results, the value of C represented by the following formula (C) was calculated. When the value of C is 0, it means that the roll body and the pallet base are in contact with each other.
[Numerical formula 5] - The obtained roll package was conveyed by a lift. Stability of the roll package was evaluated according to the following criteria. The angle θ in the following evaluation criteria is an angle formed by the straight line connecting the first position P1 and the second position P2, and the first surface of the pallet base.
-
- ∘: angle θ after conveyance by the lift is less than 10°
- △: angle θ after conveyance by the lift is 10° or more and less than 20°
- ×: angle θ after conveyance by the lift is 20° or more
- The interlayer film in the roll package was visually observed, and whether a crease is generated in the interlayer film was examined. Also, the winding core and the roll body of interlayer film were taken out from the roll package, and the interlayer film was unwound from the winding core. Unwinding property of unwinding of the interlayer film from the winding core was examined. A crease in the interlayer film was evaluated according to the following criteria.
-
- ∘: a crease is not observed in the interlayer film, and the interlayer film can be unwound well from the winding core
- △: a crease is observed slightly in the interlayer film, but the interlayer film can be unwound well from the winding core
- ×: a crease is observed clearly in the interlayer film, and the interlayer film cannot be unwound well from the winding core
- Using the interlayer film unwound in the above "(3) Crease in interlayer film", laminated glass was prepared. Specifically, laminated glass was prepared in the following procedure.
- The obtained interlayer film was sandwiched between two sheets of 2.5-mm thick clear glass (300 mm long × 300 mm wide) conforming to JIS R3202:1996 to obtain a laminate. The obtained laminate was put into a rubber bag and the inside thereof is degassed for 20 minutes with a degree of vacuum of 2.6 kPa, after which the laminate in the degassed condition was transferred into an oven, and vacuum-pressed by retention at 90°C for 30 minutes, and thus the laminate was preliminarily press-bonded. The preliminarily press-bonded laminate was subjected to press-bonding for 20 minutes under conditions of 135°C and a pressure of 1.2 MPa in an autoclave to obtain a laminated glass.
- The obtained laminated glass was held up under the fluorescent light, and strain was visually examined. The obtained laminated glass was arranged at a position of 3 m from a strong light source projector, which is also the position where the angle formed by the principal plane of the laminated glass and the light beam emitted from the strong light source projector is 20°. Also, at 1.5 m behind from the laminated glass, a projection screen was arranged. Light was emitted from the strong light source projector, and strain of the projection image projected on the projection screen was visually observed.
- Optical strain of the laminated glass was evaluated according to the following criteria.
-
- ∘: Strain is not observed both under the strong light source and under the fluorescent light.
- △: Optical strain is slightly observed under the strong light source, but strain is not observed under the fluorescent light.
- ×: Strain is observed both under the strong light source and under the fluorescent light.
- Configurations and results are shown in the following Tables 1 to 4.
