  • Further, the vehicle-mounted control apparatus 110 may prioritize processing of the remote control signal from the remote control apparatus 120, to implement prioritized control of the remote control apparatus over the powertrain system 12 and the safety system 14 of the vehicle, that is, the remote control mode has priority over the autonomous driving control mode at least for the powertrain system and the safety system of the vehicle.
  • In some implementations, the vehicle-mounted control apparatus 110 is further configured to perform verification and authorization as to whether the remote control apparatus 120 can perform remote control over the autonomous vehicle 10 on which the vehicle-mounted control apparatus 110 is mounted. If the verification in terms of uniqueness is passed, that is, the remote control signal from  the remote control apparatus can be uniquely transferred to the autonomous vehicle 10, the vehicle-mounted control apparatus 110 may authorize the remote control apparatus to perform remote control over the autonomous vehicle.
  • As shown in FIG. 3, in the working mode of autonomous driving control, the autonomous driving control apparatus 140 may directly perform, by means of a controller area network 150 for autonomous driving, interaction of an autonomous driving control signal with the safety system 14 of the vehicle, including, for example, a steering assembly, a braking assembly, and a parking assembly, to implement direct control of the autonomous driving control apparatus over the assemblies of the safety system 14 of the vehicle. The autonomous driving control apparatus 140 may also be communicatively connected to the vehicle-mounted control apparatus 110 through the controller area network 150 for autonomous driving, to implement control of the autonomous driving control apparatus over the powertrain system 12 of the vehicle. The autonomous driving control apparatus is directly and communicatively connected to the assemblies of the safety system 14, such that a response delay of the safety system is reduced, and the safety system 14 of the vehicle in the working mode of remote control can be controlled by the autonomous driving control apparatus when the safety system cannot be controlled by the remote control apparatus due to a failure of the vehicle-mounted control apparatus, thereby enhancing the safety of vehicle running.
  • By using the control system for an autonomous vehicle, especially for an unmanned delivery vehicle, of the present disclosure, the safety system and the powertrain system of the vehicle can work in the autonomous driving control mode and the remote control mode, where the remote control mode has priority over the autonomous driving control mode. When the safety system in the remote control mode cannot be controlled by the remote control apparatus due to a failure of the vehicle-mounted control apparatus, the safety system can be switched from the  current remote control mode to the autonomous driving control mode, and can then be controlled by the autonomous driving control apparatus, thereby ensuring the safety of vehicle running. In addition, in the autonomous driving control mode, the control over the safety system and the powertrain system of the vehicle is completely separated, that is, the safety system can be directly and communicatively connected to the autonomous driving control apparatus, thereby at least reducing a response delay of the safety system.
  • This specification discloses the present application by using embodiments, including preferred embodiments, and also enables those skilled in the art to practice the present application, including making and using any apparatus or system and performing any incorporated method. A patentable scope of the present disclosure is defined by the claims, and may contain other embodiments conceived by those skilled in the art. Such other examples are intended to be within the scope of the claims if they include structural elements that do not differ from the literal language of the claims, or if they include equivalent structural elements with no substantial differences from the literal languages of the claims.
