Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for determining a load flow map within an AC power supply network, a plurality of network subscribers being arranged in each case at a network connection point in the power supply network.
- the invention further relates to an arrangement of a plurality of network subscribers and at least one reference signal generator for determining a load flow map within a power supply network.
- AC voltage power supply networks are regulated via the frequency of the AC voltage. If the withdrawn energy exceeds the fed-in energy, the grid frequency drops below its nominal value of, for example, 50 Hz in Europe. If the fed-in energy exceeds the withdrawn energy, the network frequency rises above the nominal value. The reason for this behavior lies in the predominant generation of electrical energy by means of rotary field machines. Since the grid frequency - unlike, for example, a grid voltage - is the same over the entire power supply network, the power dependency of the grid frequency is used to regulate the energy feed into the power supply network, in order to establish the required equality of the power fed in and the drawn power at any time as possible for the power supply network .
- Knowledge of local power flows can be used, for example, to derive an overload on certain transmission routes within the energy supply network or to identify an overload or impending overload of transformers that convert energy into different voltage levels within the energy supply network.
- Knowledge of local load flows is therefore also of interest for estimating the development of the price of energy in the energy supply network, since prices in the For local subunits, the energy supply network is also based on the relationship between supply and demand, i.e. it can be used as a corrective for an imbalance that has occurred.
- a compilation of information about power flows between a large number of points within an energy supply network is referred to as a load flow map in the context of the application.
- Geographical coordinates can be used as the coordinates of the load flow map, as well as structural coordinates of the energy supply network or other information identifying the locations.
- map does not imply the type of representation of the information related to the flow of power.
- Structural coordinates are those coordinates that are derived from a structure of the energy supply network.
- Energy supply networks usually have several levels, which differ in the voltages used and the distances bridged by this voltage with transmission paths. For example, a maximum voltage level can be provided within which distances ranging from hundreds to thousands of kilometers can be bridged at a maximum voltage of, for example, 380 kilovolts (kV). At the maximum voltage level, there are usually only a few distribution nodes within the energy supply network. At the distribution node of the extra high voltage level, there is a distribution level in each case, in which voltages of, for example, 120 kV are used.
- the nodes of the distribution level in turn represent transition points to a medium voltage level that is operated, for example, with a voltage of 20 kV.
- Nodes of the medium-voltage level then in turn represent connection points to the low-voltage level, in which the so-called lighting network voltage of 230 V, for example, prevails.
- the low-voltage distribution represents the shortest-range, but the most branched distribution.
- a control device that controls electrical consumers and / or local energy generators, for example a solar system with energy storage, depending on phase information at the network connection point of a network subscriber.
- the phase information is obtained by determining the phase position at the network connection point and comparing it with a phase position at a higher-level network node.
- the phase position is an indicator of the ratio of power fed in to power drawn in a local section of the power supply network.
- the phase information of the higher-level node is detected by a reference signal generator and transmitted to the control device.
- the phase information obtained is used by the control device to determine the To control consumption and feed-in behavior locally and thus to contribute to a local equilibrium of withdrawn and fed-in power at the lowest voltage level of the energy supply network.
- conclusions about a power flow in the power supply network at a higher-level voltage level cannot be derived from such a singular measurement.
- a method according to the invention of the type mentioned at the outset has the following steps: A value is determined in each case by the majority of network subscribers which reflects an individual phase position of the alternating voltage of the energy supply network at the respective network connection point. The respective value is transmitted in the form of data from the majority of network subscribers to a higher-level data receiver. Finally, the data is evaluated and a load flow map is created based on the values reflecting the individual phase positions.
- the basic idea according to the invention is based on the fact that a load flow between two network subscribers influences the difference in the individual phase position of these network subscribers.
- the reason for this is a transmission impedance of the network section between the network participants, which is generally unknown in its extent.
- an evaluation of the individual phase position allows conclusions to be drawn about a causal load flow.
- Advantageous refinements of the method relate to various possibilities of which variables are recorded and transmitted as the values that reflect the individual phase position of the alternating voltage of the energy supply network at the respective network connection point.
- a reference signal is first provided which contains a reference point in time which indicates a reference phase position of an alternating voltage in the energy supply network at a reference point.
- the reference signal represents a point in time at which the alternating voltage in the power supply network has a predetermined phase position at the reference point has, and can, for example, be the point in time of a voltage zero crossing.
- the reference signal is received by the majority of the network subscribers.
- an individual phase position of the alternating voltage of the energy supply network at the respective network connection point is determined by the plurality of network subscribers.
- the predefined phase position on which the reference signal is based can be used for this, in which case the time difference between the reference time and the time determined by the network subscriber serves as the basis for determining the individual phase position.
- the phase position at the reference point in time can also be determined as an individual phase position.
- the respective individual phase position is then compared with the reference phase position and a respective phase shift between the individual phase position and the reference phase position is determined. This then directly represents the value that is transmitted to the higher-level data receiver.
- the higher-level data receiver can be part of a central evaluation unit that displays the created load flow map, processes it further, analyzes it and / or forwards it to users of the load flow map.
- the reference signal is provided by a reference signal generator which is connected to the network subscribers with a higher-level section of the energy supply network and which determines the reference phase position based on an alternating voltage in the overriding section of the energy supply network. If the power supply units are connected to a medium or low voltage level of the energy supply network, for example, the reference signal generator is coupled to a distribution or maximum voltage level of the energy supply network.
- the reference signal is provided by a reference signal generator.
- the reference signal generator generates its reference signal on the basis of an averaging of the phase positions of many phase measurements in a common voltage level as a reference phase position and serves as a reference signal for network subscribers in this voltage level.
- the phase positions can be received and averaged by the higher-level data receiver.
- This embodiment is based on the knowledge that the mean value of the phase positions of many phase measurements in, for example, the lower voltage level has a fixed phase reference to the phase of the directly higher-level voltage level. In this way, a reference signal generator connected directly to the higher level of the energy supply network can be dispensed with.
- a minimal phase deviation between the connection point in the power supply network and the mean value of the many phase measurements occurs at times when it is known that low power is drawn from the power supply network, for example at night. It is to be expected that therefore also relatively low load flows occur at night, so that a reference signal generated in this way can be assigned to a state of low load flow. Such a phase can then also be used as a reference phase for load flows at other times.
- a time signal is received from the reference signal generator and the respective network subscribers to determine the reference phase position and the individual phase positions.
- the time signal can be, for example, a GPS (Global Positioning System) signal.
- GPS includes any satellite-based positioning systems such as Galileo, GLONASS or others.
- a phase position in the form of a singular point in time at which this phase position was reached transferred to whoever, even if this phase measurement is in the past.
- the stored measurement in the subscriber device can be compared with the phase position at the reference point with precise knowledge of the time base, so that a phase difference to the reference time can be determined. If necessary, a runtime correction can be carried out.
- the transmission path is not time-critical.
- a time signal is generated and sent which defines an absolute and common time for the power supply network and this time signal is provided by a reference signal generator and the majority of the Network subscriber received.
- a reference point in time which reflects a reference phase position of an alternating voltage in the energy supply network at the reference signal generator, is determined.
- the second alternative corresponds to the previously explained embodiment of the first alternative.
- the second alternative is different, however the phase position of the alternating voltage of the energy supply network at the respective network connection point is also represented by an individual phase time.
- the reference time and the phase times reflecting the individual phase positions are transmitted to the higher-level data receiver and a respective phase shift is determined on the basis of the reference time and the individual phase times. Again, the load flow map is created based on the individual phase shifts.
- An individual phase position of the AC voltage of the energy supply network at the respective network connection point is determined by the majority of power supply users.
- the individual phase position can be defined for example by a zero crossing of the alternating voltage.
- the individual phase position is recorded relative to a time system of the respective network connection point. This time system could be individual as long as it is available for a longer period of time. However, it is easier and more practical to use a higher-level time system such as that of the GPS mentioned.
- the individual phase position is averaged over a specified period and an average value is established as the individual phase reference position.
- a respective phase shift is determined based on the phase reference position and the respective individual phase position and the load flow map is created based on the individual phase shifts. Since the deviation bandwidth of the lower network level is known after some time (the bandwidth is determined by the maximum consumption surplus or the maximum generation surplus on this network level), further phase shifts can be assigned to the higher network level.
- the averaging of the individual phase position can, for example, over a period of about a week to about a month nat be carried out.
- the establishment of the mean value as an individual phase reference position can be carried out repeatedly, in particular if it is observed that the mean value changes over a longer period of time.
- a reference signal generator connected directly to the higher level of the energy supply network can be dispensed with in this way. Provision can also be made here for the averaging to take place at times in which, as is known, small amounts of power are drawn from the energy supply network, that is to say, for example, at night.
- the steps of averaging the individual phase position, setting an average value as an individual phase reference position and determining the respective phase shift in the respective network connection point can be carried out, whereupon the determined respective phase shift is transmitted to the higher-level data receiver.
- the individual phase position is transmitted from the respective network connection point to the higher-level data receiver and the steps of averaging the individual phase position, setting an average value as an individual phase reference position and determining the respective phase shift in the higher-level data are then carried out receiver executed.
- the network subscribers send their own geographic coordinates to the higher-level data receiver. These can, for example, be determined from the GPS signal or be stored in the network subscriber.
- the phase shifts received or certain phase shifts received by the higher-level data receiver can then be assigned to the geographical coordinates.
- the phase shifts received from the higher-level data receiver can be assigned to structural coordinates of the energy supply system. Structural coordinates of the energy supply system are those that relate to the structure of the energy supply system and in particular the division into the various voltage levels.
- a portion remains unconsidered to determine the phase shift that is caused by phase rotation of certain transformer switching groups (e.g. the frequently used switching group Dy5, which causes a phase rotation of 30 °) are arranged between the network connection point of the network subscriber and the parent section of the power supply network.
- the phase shift caused by transformer groups is at least partially not load-dependent and therefore not a direct indicator of the load flow at the respective grid connection point.
- phase shifts that arise only from the fact that different phase conductors (eg L1, L2 or L3) of a multiphase network are considered when determining the reference phase position and the individual phase position.
- Such phase shifts are also preferably not taken into account. Therefore, only a relative phase change is of interest and never an absolute phase. Phase shifts that are caused by systems for reactive power compensation are also advantageously not taken into account.
- a network voltage is measured at the respective network connection point, on the basis of which an influence of the level of the network voltage on the specific value of the phase shifts is compensated.
- the influence of the level of the mains voltage on the determination of the phase position is small, but taking this influence into account contributes to increasing the accuracy when determining the phase position.
- the specific phase position is proportional to the level of the mains voltage. This functional relationship can be used for compensation who.
- the background to the compensation is that with the same load, the phase shift is different if the voltage is different.
- the phase rotation depends on the current. For example, if the mains voltage at the house connection is 5% higher, 5% less current flows with the same load, which means that the phase shift is correspondingly smaller.
- An inventive arrangement of a plurality of network participants and at least one reference signal generator for determining a load flow map within a power supply network is characterized in that network participants and / or the reference signal generator are set up to carry out one of the aforementioned methods.
- Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of part of an energy supply network with a plurality of network participants
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic block diagram of a network subscriber; and 3 shows a flow diagram of an exemplary embodiment of a method for determining a load flow map.
- FIG. 1 shows a section of an AC power supply network 1.
- the power supply network 1 has a high-voltage transmission line 2 which represents the highest voltage level in the part of the energy supply network 1 under consideration.
- Two geographically separated network regions 3 are connected to the high-voltage transmission line 2.
- the coupling of the network regions 3 takes place in each case via a power transformer 4, from which medium-voltage transmission lines 5 on the secondary side are used for further energy distribution in the network region 3.
- End customers or groups of end customers are connected to the power supply network 1 via distribution transformers 6 and a low-voltage distribution 7 connected to them.
- the power supply network 1 thus has three different voltage levels in the illustrated case, the high voltage level on the high voltage transmission line 2 being, for example, 380 kV, the medium voltage on the medium voltage transmission line 5 being, for example, 20 kV and the low voltage distribution 7, for example, at a Voltage of 400 V.
- the AC power supply network 1 is designed as a three-phase system.
- power supply networks can also be divided into four voltage levels, e.g. a maximum voltage or transmission level at 380 or 220 kV, a high voltage level at 110 kV, a medium voltage level at 10 to 30 kV and a low voltage level at 400 V.
- Network subscribers 10 with a respective network connection point 11 are connected to the low-voltage distribution 7. Details on the possible structure of such network connection points are explained below in connection with FIG.
- a reference signal generator 20 is present in the arrangement according to FIG. 1, which provides a phase reference signal 21 which, with a phase position, of an alternating voltage of the power supply network 1 on the high- voltage transmission line 2 is correlated.
- the phase reference signal 21 can indicate a point in time of the zero crossing of the alternating voltage.
- the phase reference signal 21 can be a time-dependent signal which directly indicates the zero crossing, for example in that the zero crossing is reflected in an edge or a peak of the phase reference signal 21.
- a different representation of the zero crossing in the phase reference signal 21 is selected, namely such that the reference signal generator 20 determines a point in time of the zero crossing and this point in time is output digitally coded as the phase reference signal 21.
- This procedure requires a common time base of reference signal generator 20 and all receivers that evaluate phase reference signal 21 for the arrangement.
- a central timer 30 is provided, which provides a time signal 31, on the basis of which various components have an exact time base that is the same within the arrangement.
- satellites of the Global Positioning System (GPS) are used to provide sufficient to have an exact time base on all components that provide or evaluate the phase reference signal 21.
- GPS Global Positioning System
- the phase reference signal 21 does not need to contain the zero crossing of each period in this case, but can indicate a point in time of a zero crossing, which results from averaging and corresponding back calculation of a plurality of zero crossings in a predetermined period of time.
- the period of time can range from seconds to minutes.
- the phase reference signal can contain additional information that allows the phase position of the reference to be calculated at other times within or outside of the averaging period.
- phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit can also be used, which synchronizes to the AC voltage of the power supply network 1 and which outputs a pure sinusoidal signal, the zero crossings of which are representative of those of the mains voltage.
- PLL phase-locked loop
- phase reference signal 21 in such a case does not indicate the zero crossing in real time, but in relation to the common time base, a transmission speed of the phase reference signal 21 to evaluating components is not critical.
- the phase reference signal 21 can thus also be transmitted via data transmission networks, for example the Internet, for example.
- the digitally transmitted data preferably allow a simple calculation of corresponding points in time for a plurality of zero crossings within a time interval. This facilitates the determination of an assigned phase shift, since in this way, at least by numerical methods, reference can be made to a common zero crossing at a large number of points in the energy supply network.
- the method according to the application for creating a load flow map is based on the basic idea that the majority of network subscribers 10 collect information at their respective network connection point 11, from which an individual phase position of the AC voltage signal of the energy supply network 1 can be determined, and that this information is sent to a higher-level data receiver which evaluates the information and creates a load flow map from it.
- FIG. 1 shows the exchanged information and signals, specifically the time signal 31 originating from the timer 30, the phase reference signal 21 originating from the reference signal generator 20 and the phase information 14 originating from the network participants 10 for only two of the network participants 10 .
- the network participants 10 in the network region 3 shown at the bottom left in FIG. 1 also receive the mentioned phase reference signal 21 and the time signal 31 and send the phase information 14 determined at their network connection points 11 to the central evaluation unit 40.
- all network subscribers 10 are connected to the voltage distribution 7 Nie. It is also conceivable to couple network subscribers 10, which detect and transmit phase information 14, to medium-voltage transmission lines 4 or high-voltage line 2 and thus also to take phase information directly from the medium-voltage or high-voltage level of energy supply network 1 into account.
- FIG. 2 One possible structure of a network subscriber is shown in FIG. 2 in the form of a schematic block diagram.
- the network subscriber 10 is connected to the power supply network 1 via a network connection point 11. Starting from the network connection point 11, loads 15 within the network subscriber 10 are supplied with energy.
- This network subscriber also has an inverter 16 present as part of a local power generation plant.
- the inverter 16 is coupled to a photovoltaic generator 17 and / or a memory 18. Electrical energy generated locally by the photovoltaic generator 17 can either be fed into the energy supply network 1 via the network connection point 11 and / or temporarily stored in the memory 18 for later use or later feed-in.
- the network subscriber 10 also has a phase detector 12 which, comparable to the reference signal generator 20, evaluates phase information of an alternating voltage of the energy supply network 1, here the alternating voltage at the network connection point 11. This evaluation can, for example, again by detecting a zero crossing of the alternating voltage. As explained in connection with the reference signal generator 20, averaging over several zero crossings can be carried out for this purpose, which can be done, for example, by using a PLL circuit or a PLL algorithm.
- the network subscriber 10 further comprises a GPS receiver 13, which receives the time signal 31 from the timer 30 and makes it available to the phase detector 12.
- the phase detector 12 can be set up to determine the zero crossing of the alternating voltage and to output the corresponding point in time (measured in the time base provided by the timer 30) as phase information 14. If the time signal 31 is known, the evaluation unit 40 can determine a phase shift for the network subscriber 10 based on the time from the phase information 14 and the time of the zero crossing from the phase reference signal 21 and process it to create the load flow map.
- the phase detector 12 is set up to receive the phase reference signal 21 itself and to compare it with the specific zero crossing at the network connection point 11.
- an individual phase shift between the AC voltage at the grid connection point 11 and the AC voltage that the reference signal generator 20 evaluates can be output directly as phase information 14.
- Knowledge of the time base of the timer 30 in the central evaluation unit 40 is not required, as this is also symbolized in FIG.
- geographical location coordinates of the network subscriber 10 are also transmitted to the central evaluation unit 40. These can be stored in the network subscriber 10 based on its installation location. It is also possible to determine the location coordinates from the signal that the GPS receiver 13 receives and then to transfer them to the central evaluation unit 40.
- the central evaluation unit 40 with the phase information 14 receives information that either directly indicates the individual phase position at the individual network connection points 11 or information from which the individual phase shift at each of the network connection points 11 can be determined.
- the individual phase shift relates in each case to the phase selected as the reference phase position of the energy supply network 1 at the location of the reference signal generator 20, that is to say here on the high-voltage transmission line 2.
- a negative phase shift indicates that there is an energy deficit at the grid connection point 11, that is to say that in the area in which the grid connection point 11 is located, more energy is taken from the power supply network than is fed in.
- a positive phase shift indicates that in the vicinity of the network connection point 11 more energy is fed into the energy supply network 1 than is withdrawn.
- This information is assigned to certain coordinates of the load flow map, whereby, for example, the geographical coordinates of the respective network connection points can be selected as coordinates. If a structure of the energy supply network 1 is known, structure coordinates of the energy supply network 1 can also be used as coordinates in the load flow map.
- the phase detector 12 and the GPS receiver 13 can advantageously be arranged in the inverter 16.
- An inverter often already has components for phase detection in order to be able to feed the generated mains voltage into the power supply network 1 in the correct phase. These components can be used within the scope of the method according to the application.
- data interfaces which can be used to receive the reference signal 21 and / or to transmit the phase information 14 are often already present in the inverter.
- a charging station for electric vehicles can be used as network subscriber 10. These too often have components that can be used within the scope of the method according to the application.
- phase detector 12 and the GPS receiver 13 into an energy meter (“electricity meter”).
- electrical meter is usually for each, even if not shown in FIG. 2 for reasons of clarity Network subscriber 10 available.
- FIG. 3 an embodiment of a method according to the application is shown in the form of a flow chart. The method is explained below by way of example with reference to the arrangement according to FIG. 1 and the structure of the network subscriber 10 according to FIG.
- a phase reference signal 21 is provided, for example by a reference signal generator 20 which is arranged on a superordinate transmission line, for example the high-voltage transmission line 2 of the energy supply network 1.
- the reference signal contains a reference point in time at which an alternating voltage on the high-voltage transmission line 2 or - with a different structure of the energy supply network - an extra-high voltage or transmission line assumes a certain phase position, for example having a zero crossing.
- the reference signal generator 20 receives a time signal 31 from a timer 30, in particular a special GPS satellite.
- the phase reference signal 21 is transmitted to a plurality of network subscribers 10. From this, each network subscriber 10 determines a reference phase position Or. For this purpose, the network subscriber 10 also receives the time signal 31 from the timer 30, again preferably from the GPS satellite, so that each network subscriber 10 has the same time base as the reference signal generator 20.
- each of the network subscribers 10 determines an individual phase position F of the alternating voltage of the energy supply network 1 at the respective network connection point 11 in a step S3.
- the individual phase position F, which was determined in step S3, is compared with the reference phase position FG, which was determined in step S2 on the basis of the received phase reference signal 21, and a phase shift DF is determined.
- the determined phase shift DF is transmitted from each of the network subscribers 10 to a central evaluation unit 40 as a higher-level data receiver.
- the determined phase shift DF can contain components that are caused, for example, by transformer switching groups, e.g. transformers 4 and 6. Systems for reactive power compensation also produce such proportions. Such phase shifts are also referred to as structural phase shifts. Since they are not load-dependent, they are not relevant for creating the load flow map and are preferably deducted from the determined phase shift. For this purpose, the structural phase shift can be determined, for example, in a learning phase or, if it is known, entered during commissioning. The correction of the determined phase shift DF by the non-load-dependent portion can take place within the respective network connection point or also in the central evaluation unit 40.
- a step S6 the transmitted data are evaluated in the central evaluation unit 40 and a load flow map is created as a result from the individual phase positions F or the phase shifts DF. Geographical coordinates received can also be used as the basis for creating the load flow map
