Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil (10) pour saisir un ou plusieurs conteneurs intermodaux (11), qui est utilisable dans un équipement pour lever et transporter des charges ou lesdits conteneurs intermodaux (11), l'appareil comprenant des moyens (12) pour supporter l'appareil, pouvant être reliés à l'équipement de levage et de transport auquel l'appareil est associé, c'est-à-dire, pouvant être reliés à des moyens correspondants (13) pour lever et abaisser ledit équipement de levage et de transport, et des moyens (14), qui peuvent être activés et désactivés, pour saisir ladite charge ou ledit conteneur intermodal respectif (11), en particulier comprenant des premiers et seconds moyens (141, 142) pour saisir ladite charge ou ledit conteneur intermodal respectif (11), en particulier au niveau des extrémités transversales opposées de celle-ci ou de celui-ci. Des moyens (16) sont prévus, qui sont adaptés pour déplacer lesdits moyens (14) pour saisir ladite charge ou ledit conteneur intermodal respectif (11) par rapport à ladite charge ou audit conteneur intermodal respectif (11) et/ou par rapport à la zone où ladite charge ou ledit conteneur intermodal respectif (11) doit être placé(e).
