Abstract
The invention relates to canvases for painting. The objective of the invention is to provide new creative possibilities when creating pictures.
For implementing the invention, the following materials are required: Used wooden, metal or other materials stretchers (deaf or collapsible). Primed canvas, cloth, paper, metal, plastic and other materials cut into ribbons. Staples or similar auxiliary materials.
The invention relates to a canvas where, unlike a regular canvas, a picture is formed from one or more vertical, horizontal or angled ribbons (cut from canvas, fabric or other materials) and stretched over a stretcher. The ribbons can form various weaves. Both independent drawings and "cutting" of fragments of a single picture can be performed on the ribbons. The ribbons can be pulled along the front of the stretcher, or from the wrong side. In addition, you can use a second, a few cm away from the first stretcher, or several stretchers, inside which the ribbons are stretched, including those connecting different stretchers to create a three-dimensional effect. A canvas can be stretched on the back of the stretcher to serve as a background for the front-stretched belts. Canvases allow you to paint with oil, acrylic, watercolors and any other art materials.
Description
- "Canvas for painting from ribbons" - a canvas where a picture is formed from one or more vertical, horizontal or ribbons located at an angle to each other (cut from canvas, fabric or other materials) and stretched over a stretcher. The ribbons can form various weaves. Both independent drawings and "cutting" of fragments of a single picture can be performed on the tapes (
fig. 1 ). The ribbons can be pulled along the front of the stretcher, or from the wrong side. In addition, a second stretcher, several cm away from the first, can be used, or several stretchers, inside which the ribbons are stretched, including those connecting different stretchers to create a volumetric effect (fig. 2 and3 ), while the picture can be viewed from four sides (fig. 4 ). This technique allows you to use any technique, any toolkit and any material. - The above works were made by the heads of the painting departments of the Academy of Arts, honored artists of Russia and Europe, were evaluated as an innovation, and were exhibited in the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

- "Ribbon canvas" or "Ribbon painting canvas" differs from regular canvas in that it uses cut ribbons attached to a stretcher to form a canvas.
