Definitions
- the present invention relates to a catamaran that can be dismantled to save space, is easy to transport and easy to assemble.
- Catamarans are very popular with water sports enthusiasts. However, classic catamarans, like many other boats, are difficult to transport due to their size. Because in order to transport the boat to the water, transport with a motorized vehicle or trailer is usually required. This in turn requires the catamaran to be loaded and secured for transport. After the excursion, the catamaran has to be loaded again, secured and transported back. If the catamaran does not remain permanently in the water at a mooring point, an enormous amount of time is required beforehand and afterwards for loading, securing and transport to the mooring point as well as for loading, for a trip by catamaran that often only lasts a few hours. Securing and transport back from the dock required. There is also a financial expense for the means of transport, such as renting or maintaining a trailer/transport vehicle.
- the catamaran must also be safely stored during the time when it is not in use, for which a suitable storage room or storage space is required, which requires additional financial expenditure.
- collapsible catamarans are also known from the prior art, which are correspondingly easier to transport and take up less space when stored.
- the DE 33 43 662 A1 describes a pleasure craft with planing catamaran hulls that can be disassembled for transport.
- the boat also includes various floor parts, tensioners, a trunk tub and a bow hood. Even if the boat described can basically be dismantled and thus requires less space compared to the assembled state, its space requirement is still very high, in particular due to the trunk tub, the bow hood and the fact that the hulls cannot be dismantled, so that for transporting the boat on land requires special means of transport.
- the assembly and disassembly of the boat requires a time expenditure that will exceed the duration of a comparatively short trip by boat, ie the ratio of the required expenditure to the actual benefit is in need of improvement.
- the DE 101 51 178 C2 describes a catamaran, the two hulls of which can each be dismantled into three parts, with the respective outer parts of each hull being able to be accommodated by its central part.
- Each hull is in the form of a prismatic section of cylinder, the longitudinal section through each hull being a section of a circle.
- Both Hulls can be connected by means of crossbars, which are inserted into eyelets arranged on the hulls.
- the AT 501 895 A4 describes a collapsible catamaran with two hull bodies and a frame connecting them. Since the two hull bodies and the frame cannot be dismantled, the catamaran requires a lot of space for storage and transport, even when folded.
- the DE 198 11 492 A1 describes a so-called adventure boat that is built like a catamaran.
- the adventure boat has two floating bodies which are arranged parallel to one another and form the hull of the boat, each consisting of two parts and connected to one another by means of two crossbeams.
- This is a transparent container that is open from above and is arranged between the two floating bodies.
- a water-fillable and preferably U-shaped ballast tank is also used for sufficient swimming stability.
- the FR 1 150 577 A describes a catamaran whose two hulls are held together by various rigid struts.
- U.S. 3,613,136 A describes a catamaran which can be converted into a trailer for transport purposes.
- the object of the present invention to provide an alternative catamaran that can be dismantled, which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages known from the prior art and is characterized in particular by a small space requirement in the dismantled state.
- the collapsible catamaran should also offer a high level of comfort in that it has a low net weight, can be set up and dismantled and transported quickly and easily and/or is distinguished by good handling characteristics on the water.
- Both hull elements are preferably constructed as mirror images of one another.
- the bow-side partial element is connected to the rear-side partial element via an articulated connection, in particular a hinge.
- the bow-side partial element and the rear-side partial element which preferably have the same length, can be moved towards one another by means of the articulated connection in such a way that both come to lie on one another with one of their longitudinal sides and accordingly have a smaller space requirement in terms of length.
- a corresponding compact storage of the partial elements is alternatively also possible if they are not connected or can be connected to one another via an articulated connection, but rather detachably, for example by entering into a form-fitting connection, e.g. by being hooked into one another.
- this connection takes place without additional aids such as screws or the like.
- the term "arrangable" means that something is arranged or can be arranged.
- the wording that the at least one spacer, which can be arranged with a first end on the first body element and with the opposite second end on the second body element, means that the spacer can be or can be arranged between the two body elements.
- a spacer within the meaning of the invention is in particular a non-elastic longitudinal element, for example a cylindrical or cuboid longitudinal element, e.g. made of wood.
- a “rope” means any type of rope.
- the at least one spacer can preferably be arranged with its first end in a recess in the first body element and with its opposite second end in a recess in the second body element, the recesses in the body elements being adapted to receive one end of a spacer, for example by having a substantially equal cross-section perpendicular to their central longitudinal axis, which is slightly larger in the case of the cavity than the cross section of the spacer.
- the connection of the body elements with the spacer is a plug-in connection that can be made easily, quickly and without the aid of tools.
- the catamaran according to the invention preferably has not just one spacer, but several, e.g. two, three, four or five spacers, wherein each of these spacers can optionally be arranged with its first end on the first hull element and with the opposite second end on the second hull element , particularly in indentations located in both body members and each adapted to receive an end of one of the spacers.
- the first spacer is arranged or can be arranged between the bow-side partial elements of both hull elements and the second spacer between the rear-side partial elements of both hull elements.
- the catamaran according to the invention has one, two or more spacers, it is preferred that the spacers are arranged at right angles to the two hull elements aligned parallel to them or in depressions in them.
- the at least one spacer or, in the case of a plurality of spacers, one of these can have an opening in which a mast can be arranged.
- the catamaran according to the invention is suitable as a sailing catamaran.
- the opening in the spacer is preferably arranged in such a way that it is at the same distance from both ends of the spacer and runs perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis.
- the stability of the catamaran according to the invention results in particular from a combination of one or more spacers and the at least two clamping connections, which each run between the two hull elements.
- Clamping connections are made according to the invention by ropes.
- the catamaran has at least two clamping connections, which run on opposite sides of the at least one spacer between the hull elements and are detachably connected to them. Both clamping connections preferably run parallel to both at right angles mutually arranged fuselage elements. Accordingly, one of the two clamping connections runs at right angles between the bow-side partial elements of both fuselage elements, the other clamping connection runs at right angles between the rear-side partial elements of both fuselage elements.
- the ropes or cords forming the clamping connection can be fastened to the fuselage elements with their respective ends, for example by being guided around the circumference of the fuselage elements and knotted to themselves or by being knotted to hooks, eyelets, pins, etc. which are arranged on the fuselage elements.
- the catamaran according to the invention preferably has at least two further clamping connections, one clamping connection running between the bow-side partial element of the first hull element and the stern-side partial element of the second hull element, and the other clamping connection between the bow-side partial element of the second hull element and the rear-side partial element of the first fuselage element runs. Accordingly, the two further clamping connections do not run at right angles between the two fuselage elements, but rather at an angle other than a 90° angle. Since the two other clamping connections run from the front part of one partial element to the rear part of the other partial element, they cross between the two fuselage elements.
- the catamaran according to the invention has a further clamping connection, which runs above or below the spacer, which carries the mast arranged in an opening in the spacer.
- This additional clamping connection additionally stabilizes the mast.
- a particular advantage of the catamaran according to the invention is the shape of the two hull elements.
- Both the two bow-side sub-elements and the two stern-side sub-elements have a cross-sectional area perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis that corresponds to a right-angled trapezium, with the cross-sectional area of the bow-side sub-elements perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis in a bow-side first part of each of the two bow-side sub-elements in the direction of the Bugs tapered.
- the bow-side first part of the bow-side partial elements of both hull elements extends from the bow of the catamaran by a few centimeters, for example by up to 10, up to 20 or up to 30 cm in the direction of the stern.
- this bug-side first part of the bug-side Sub-elements corresponds to the cross-section of the sub-elements perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis at every point a right-angled trapezium, possibly with the exception of the outermost bow, which can also taper very sharply and accordingly forms a straight line in cross-section.
- the cross-sectional area of the right-angled trapezoid in the bow-side first part of both bow-side partial elements preferably increases continuously in the direction of the stern, up to a point from which the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the bow-side partial element remains constant with decreasing distance to the stern.
- the part of the bow-side sub-element in which the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the bow-side sub-element remains constant with decreasing distance to the stern is also referred to as the second part of the bow-side sub-element.
- the second part of the bow-side partial element preferably has a cross section perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis, which corresponds to the cross section of the rear-side partial element perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis.
- the bow-side and the stern-side partial element of both hull elements can be arranged in such a way that they are arranged congruently with one end face each other, while their longitudinal center axes form a straight line.
- the two hull elements are arranged in such a way that the acute angle of the trapezoidal cross-sectional area of both hull elements points downwards, i.e. in the opposite direction of the optional mast.
- the side of the trapezoid that is at right angles to the two adjacent parallel sides points upwards, i.e. towards the mast.
- this side is therefore parallel to the water surface.
- the catamaran according to the invention is preferably characterized by an extremely low total weight of ⁇ 60 kg. In this case, preferably none of the individual parts has a weight of more than 10 kg. The catamaran is therefore particularly easy to transport due to its low weight.
- the catamaran according to the invention can also be stored in an extremely compact manner. Due to the fact that all sub-elements of the two fuselage elements have an unchanged cross-section of a right-angled trapezium perpendicular to their longitudinal central axis at least over a large part of the length of each sub-element or over the entire length of each sub-element, the sub-elements can be arranged in such a way that two side surfaces of each sub-element are on the Side faces of another sub-element come to rest.
- the catamaran according to the invention preferably has a length of approximately 1.20 m, a width of approximately 0.80 m and a height of approximately 0.50 m with a space-saving arrangement of the partial elements.
- the dismantled catamaran can be transported this compactly, for example on a bicycle trailer or in the trunk of a car. Both the problem of space for storage when a catamaran is not in use and the problem of cumbersome transport of a catamaran are thus solved by the present invention. But even in embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention is larger and the partial elements are therefore twice as long, i.e. a length of 2.40 m, the catamaran can be stored in an extremely space-saving manner compared to catamarans known from the prior art.
- the average duration of a setup for two is less than 30 minutes, which already includes the setup of a sail.
- the catamaran according to the invention in addition to the optional mast described above, it also has a sail, for example with a sail area of 6 m 2 .
- a sail for example with a sail area of 6 m 2 .
- Commercial sail constructions can be used and combined with the invention.
- the mast is preferably a telescopic mast which can be stored or transported in a correspondingly space-saving manner when pushed together.
- the catamaran according to the invention can also be a motor catamaran, which accordingly has a motor and no mast and no sail.
- the catamaran according to the invention is a sailing catamaran and in embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention is a motor catamaran, this optionally also has a rudder system arranged at the stern.
- the catamaran has a cloth or net that can be stretched between the hull elements and used as a seat for two people.
- the two fuselage elements are preferably connected by means of two spacers, one of the spacers being arranged between the bow-side partial elements and the other spacer being arranged between the rear-side partial elements.
- one of the spacers has an opening through which a mast is arranged.
- all of the aforementioned clamping connections can also be clamped in the method according to the invention.
- the figure 1 shows schematically the two hull elements 1, 2 of a catamaran according to the invention.
- the fuselage element 1 comprises a bow-side partial element 1A with a bow-side beveled first part 8 and a rear-side partial element 1B.
- the hull element 2 comprises a bow-side sub-element 2A with a bow-side beveled first part 8 and a stern-side sub-element 2B.
- the bow-side partial elements 1A, 2A are arranged with one longitudinal side on a longitudinal side of the rear-side partial elements 1B, 2B .
- the figure 2 shows the hull elements 1, 2 of a catamaran according to the invention in a further view.
- the bow-side partial element 1A and the rear-side partial element 1B as well as the bow-side partial element 2A and the rear-side partial element 2B each have a articulated connection 3 connected to each other.
- the position shown can be arranged in such a way that the longitudinal center axes of the partial elements belonging to the same fuselage element form a straight line.
- the figure 3 shows a connection of the fuselage elements 1, 2 by means of two spacers 4A, 4B.
- the first spacer 4A is arranged between the bow-side partial elements 1A, 2A
- the second spacer 4B is arranged between the rear-side partial elements 1B, 2B .
- the spacers 4A, 4B are arranged in recesses 10 in the first body element 1 and in recesses 11 in the second body element 2 via plug connections.
- there is an opening 12 in the spacer 4A which is approximately at the same distance from the two opposite ends of the spacer 4A .
- the figure 4 shows a first embodiment of a catamaran according to the invention in plan view.
- the catamaran has five clamping connections 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D, 7E .
- the clamping connection 7A runs between the two bow-side partial elements 1A and 2A
- the clamping connection 7B runs between the two rear-side partial elements 1B and 2B.
- Clamping connections 7C, 7D, 7E are provided for additional stabilization.
- the clamping connections 7C and 7D each run from the bow-side sub-element 1A, 2A of one fuselage element 1, 2 to the rear-side sub-element 1B, 2B of the other fuselage element 2 and intersect in the process.
- the fifth clamping connection runs below the spacer 4A, which carries the opening 12 for the optional arrangement of a mast 13 .
- the figure 5 shows a second embodiment of a catamaran according to the invention in a rear side view.
- the catamaran has a mast 13 on which a sail can be arranged.
- a particular advantage of the invention can be seen from the figure, namely the water displacement caused by the special shape of the hull.
- the wind is coming from the right (symbolized by the arrows coming from the right), the water is optimally displaced, as indicated by the smaller arrows coming from the left in the lower part of the picture.
- the catamaran is damaged by the action not from wind or (in strong winds) not brought into a significant inclined position, since the water, due to the hull shape according to the invention, presses against the hull from the side opposite in the wind direction and, as shown on the left side of the hull element 1 in the picture, on the side opposite the wind direction on the hull element builds up.
- the catamaran according to the invention is therefore much calmer on the water when it is windy than catamarans known from the prior art.
- the figure 6 shows the embodiment of the catamaran according to the invention figure 5 turned by 90 degrees.
- the dashed vertical line indicates from which point the cross section of the fuselage elements 1, 2 perpendicular to their longitudinal central axis, which has the shape of a right-angled trapezium, begins to taper in the direction of the bow 9 .
- each bow-side partial element 1A, 2A the cross section of the fuselage elements 1, 2 tapers perpendicularly to their longitudinal central axis in the direction of the bow 9 , while the remaining part of the fuselage elements, ie the stern-side partial elements 1B, 2B and those second parts of the bow-side sub-elements 1A, 2A, which do not belong to the bow-side first part 8 , perpendicular to the longitudinal central axis of the sub-elements preferably have a constant cross-section with the shape of a right-angled trapezium over the entire length.
- the figure 7 shows a sectional view through all compactly mounted sub-elements 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B.
- the sectional view shows the cross sections of all sub-elements 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis.
- Each of the cross-sections shown is in the shape of a right-angled trapezium.
- each sub-element is to be placed in such a way that the larger of the two parallel side faces is congruent with the larger of the two parallel side faces of another sub-element, while the side face of each sub-element, which is at right angles to the two parallel side faces between this runs, comes to rest on the congruent side surface of another sub-element, which runs at right angles to its two parallel side surfaces between them.

Description
The present invention relates to a catamaran that can be dismantled to save space, is easy to transport and easy to assemble.
Catamarans are very popular with water sports enthusiasts.
In addition, of course, the catamaran must also be safely stored during the time when it is not in use, for which a suitable storage room or storage space is required, which requires additional financial expenditure.
The aforesaid expenditure of time and money will therefore deter some water sports enthusiasts from purchasing a catamaran and/or taking it to the water for a spontaneous trip.
Therefore, in addition to the previously mentioned classic catamarans, collapsible catamarans are also known from the prior art, which are correspondingly easier to transport and take up less space when stored.

It is the object of the present invention to provide an alternative catamaran that can be dismantled, which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages known from the prior art and is characterized in particular by a small space requirement in the dismantled state. Preferably, the collapsible catamaran should also offer a high level of comfort in that it has a low net weight, can be set up and dismantled and transported quickly and easily and/or is distinguished by good handling characteristics on the water.
- zwei Rumpfelemente, die jeweils zumindest ein bugseitiges Teilelement und ein heckseitiges Teilelement umfassen, wobei jeweils die zu demselben Rumpfelement gehörenden Teilelemente über eine gelenkige Verbindung oder lösbar miteinander verbunden sind;
- zumindest einen Abstandshalter, der mit einem ersten Ende an dem ersten Rumpfelement und mit dem gegenüberliegenden zweiten Ende an dem zweiten Rumpfelement anordnbar ist;
- mindestens zwei Spannverbindungen mittels Tauen, die auf entgegengesetzten Seiten des Abstandshalters zwischen den beiden Rumpfelementen verlaufen und lösbar mit diesen verbunden sind;
- two fuselage elements, each comprising at least one bow-side partial element and one stern-side partial element, the partial elements belonging to the same fuselage element being connected to one another via an articulated connection or detachably;
- at least one spacer, which can be arranged with a first end on the first body element and with the opposite second end on the second body element;
- at least two tensioning connections by means of ropes, which run on opposite sides of the spacer between the two hull elements and are releasably connected thereto;
Vorzugsweise sind beide Rumpfelemente spiegelbildlich zueinander gebaut.Both hull elements are preferably constructed as mirror images of one another.
It is also preferred that in both fuselage elements the bow-side partial element is connected to the rear-side partial element via an articulated connection, in particular a hinge. In this embodiment, the bow-side partial element and the rear-side partial element, which preferably have the same length, can be moved towards one another by means of the articulated connection in such a way that both come to lie on one another with one of their longitudinal sides and accordingly have a smaller space requirement in terms of length.
A corresponding compact storage of the partial elements is alternatively also possible if they are not connected or can be connected to one another via an articulated connection, but rather detachably, for example by entering into a form-fitting connection, e.g. by being hooked into one another. In embodiments in which the two partial elements of a fuselage element are connected to one another by a form-fitting connection, it is preferred that this connection takes place without additional aids such as screws or the like.
For the purposes of the invention, the term "arrangable" means that something is arranged or can be arranged. For example, the wording that the at least one spacer, which can be arranged with a first end on the first body element and with the opposite second end on the second body element, means that the spacer can be or can be arranged between the two body elements.
A spacer within the meaning of the invention is in particular a non-elastic longitudinal element, for example a cylindrical or cuboid longitudinal element, e.g. made of wood.
For the purposes of the invention, a “rope” means any type of rope.
The at least one spacer can preferably be arranged with its first end in a recess in the first body element and with its opposite second end in a recess in the second body element, the recesses in the body elements being adapted to receive one end of a spacer, for example by having a substantially equal cross-section perpendicular to their central longitudinal axis, which is slightly larger in the case of the cavity than the cross section of the spacer. The connection of the body elements with the spacer is a plug-in connection that can be made easily, quickly and without the aid of tools.
However, the catamaran according to the invention preferably has not just one spacer, but several, e.g. two, three, four or five spacers, wherein each of these spacers can optionally be arranged with its first end on the first hull element and with the opposite second end on the second hull element , particularly in indentations located in both body members and each adapted to receive an end of one of the spacers.
In embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention has two spacers, it is preferred that the first spacer is arranged or can be arranged between the bow-side partial elements of both hull elements and the second spacer between the rear-side partial elements of both hull elements.
Irrespective of whether the catamaran according to the invention has one, two or more spacers, it is preferred that the spacers are arranged at right angles to the two hull elements aligned parallel to them or in depressions in them.
Optionally, the at least one spacer or, in the case of a plurality of spacers, one of these can have an opening in which a mast can be arranged. In this embodiment, the catamaran according to the invention is suitable as a sailing catamaran. The opening in the spacer is preferably arranged in such a way that it is at the same distance from both ends of the spacer and runs perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis.
The stability of the catamaran according to the invention results in particular from a combination of one or more spacers and the at least two clamping connections, which each run between the two hull elements. Clamping connections are made according to the invention by ropes. According to the invention, the catamaran has at least two clamping connections, which run on opposite sides of the at least one spacer between the hull elements and are detachably connected to them. The ropes or cords forming the clamping connection can be fastened to the fuselage elements with their respective ends, for example by being guided around the circumference of the fuselage elements and knotted to themselves or by being knotted to hooks, eyelets, pins, etc. which are arranged on the fuselage elements.
In addition to the two clamping connections described above, the catamaran according to the invention preferably has at least two further clamping connections, one clamping connection running between the bow-side partial element of the first hull element and the stern-side partial element of the second hull element, and the other clamping connection between the bow-side partial element of the second hull element and the rear-side partial element of the first fuselage element runs. Accordingly, the two further clamping connections do not run at right angles between the two fuselage elements, but rather at an angle other than a 90° angle. Since the two other clamping connections run from the front part of one partial element to the rear part of the other partial element, they cross between the two fuselage elements.
Optionally, the catamaran according to the invention has a further clamping connection, which runs above or below the spacer, which carries the mast arranged in an opening in the spacer. This additional clamping connection additionally stabilizes the mast.
A particular advantage of the catamaran according to the invention, which gives it excellent handling characteristics, is the shape of the two hull elements. Both the two bow-side sub-elements and the two stern-side sub-elements have a cross-sectional area perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis that corresponds to a right-angled trapezium, with the cross-sectional area of the bow-side sub-elements perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis in a bow-side first part of each of the two bow-side sub-elements in the direction of the Bugs tapered.
The bow-side first part of the bow-side partial elements of both hull elements extends from the bow of the catamaran by a few centimeters, for example by up to 10, up to 20 or up to 30 cm in the direction of the stern. In this bug-side first part of the bug-side Sub-elements corresponds to the cross-section of the sub-elements perpendicular to their longitudinal center axis at every point a right-angled trapezium, possibly with the exception of the outermost bow, which can also taper very sharply and accordingly forms a straight line in cross-section. The cross-sectional area of the right-angled trapezoid in the bow-side first part of both bow-side partial elements preferably increases continuously in the direction of the stern, up to a point from which the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the bow-side partial element remains constant with decreasing distance to the stern. The part of the bow-side sub-element in which the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the longitudinal center axis of the bow-side sub-element remains constant with decreasing distance to the stern is also referred to as the second part of the bow-side sub-element. The second part of the bow-side partial element preferably has a cross section perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis, which corresponds to the cross section of the rear-side partial element perpendicular to its longitudinal center axis. In this way, the bow-side and the stern-side partial element of both hull elements can be arranged in such a way that they are arranged congruently with one end face each other, while their longitudinal center axes form a straight line.
In the assembled state of the catamaran, the two hull elements are arranged in such a way that the acute angle of the trapezoidal cross-sectional area of both hull elements points downwards, i.e. in the opposite direction of the optional mast. On the other hand, the side of the trapezoid that is at right angles to the two adjacent parallel sides points upwards, i.e. towards the mast. When the catamaran is on the water, this side is therefore parallel to the water surface. It has been found that the special hull shape of the two partial hulls of a catamaran according to the invention, in particular due to the tapering in the bow direction described above, results in excellent handling characteristics, in particular optimum displacement of the water and makes a keel or centerboard superfluous. Accordingly, a catamaran according to the invention has no keel and no centreboard, which benefits the desired low overall weight of the catamaran.
The catamaran according to the invention is preferably characterized by an extremely low total weight of <60 kg. In this case, preferably none of the individual parts has a weight of more than 10 kg. The catamaran is therefore particularly easy to transport due to its low weight.
Furthermore, the catamaran according to the invention can also be stored in an extremely compact manner. In the dismantled state, the catamaran according to the invention preferably has a length of approximately 1.20 m, a width of approximately 0.80 m and a height of approximately 0.50 m with a space-saving arrangement of the partial elements. The dismantled catamaran can be transported this compactly, for example on a bicycle trailer or in the trunk of a car.
Whatever the size of the catamaran according to the invention, it is advantageous that it can be assembled and disassembled quickly without the aid of tools. The average duration of a setup for two is less than 30 minutes, which already includes the setup of a sail.
In embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention is a sailing catamaran, in addition to the optional mast described above, it also has a sail, for example with a sail area of 6 m 2 . Commercial sail constructions can be used and combined with the invention. The mast is preferably a telescopic mast which can be stored or transported in a correspondingly space-saving manner when pushed together. Alternatively, however, the catamaran according to the invention can also be a motor catamaran, which accordingly has a motor and no mast and no sail.
Both in embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention is a sailing catamaran and in embodiments in which the catamaran according to the invention is a motor catamaran, this optionally also has a rudder system arranged at the stern. As an option, the catamaran has a cloth or net that can be stretched between the hull elements and used as a seat for two people.
- Bereitstellen eines erfindungsgemäßen zerlegbaren Katamarans;
- Anordnen des bugseitigen Teilelementes des ersten Rumpfelementes und des heckseitigen Teilelementes des ersten Rumpfelementes derart, dass die deckungsgleichen Stirnseiten beider Teilelemente aufeinander zu liegen kommen und die Längsmittelachsen beider Teilelemente gemeinsam eine Gerade bilden;
- Anordnen des bugseitigen Teilelementes des zweiten Rumpfelementes und des heckseitigen Teilelementes des zweiten Rumpfelementes derart, dass die deckungsgleichen Stirnseiten beider Teilelemente aufeinander zu liegen kommen und die Längsmittelachsen beider Teilelemente gemeinsam eine Gerade bilden;
- Anordnen zumindest eines Abstandshalters mit dessen ersten Ende an dem ersten Rumpfelement und mit dessen gegenüberliegendem zweiten Ende an dem zweiten Rumpfelement;
- providing a collapsible catamaran according to the invention;
- Arranging the bow-side partial element of the first fuselage element and the rear-side partial element of the first fuselage element in such a way that the congruent end faces of both partial elements come to rest on one another and the longitudinal center axes of both partial elements together form a straight line;
- arranging the bow-side partial element of the second fuselage element and the rear-side partial element of the second fuselage element in such a way that the congruent end faces of both partial elements come to rest on one another and the longitudinal center axes of both partial elements together form a straight line;
- arranging at least one spacer with its first end on the first body member and with its opposite second end on the second body member;
- arranging at least two clamping connections on opposite sides of the spacer, the clamping connections respectively extending between the first and the second body element and being detachably connected to both body elements.
In the method according to the invention, the two fuselage elements are preferably connected by means of two spacers, one of the spacers being arranged between the bow-side partial elements and the other spacer being arranged between the rear-side partial elements. Optionally, one of the spacers has an opening through which a mast is arranged.
- einer Spannverbindung zwischen dem bugseitigen Teilelement des ersten Rumpfelementes und dem heckseitigen Teilelement des zweiten Rumpfelementes;
- einer Spannverbindung zwischen dem bugseitigen Teilelement des zweiten Rumpfelementes und dem heckseitigen Teilelement des ersten Rumpfelementes;
- a clamping connection between the bow-side section of the first hull member and the stern-side section of the second hull member;
- a clamping connection between the bow-side section of the second hull member and the stern-side section of the first hull member;
- a tension connection passing above or below the spacer supporting the mast located in the aperture in the spacer.
According to one embodiment, all of the aforementioned clamping connections can also be clamped in the method according to the invention.
