- the fourth branch line D4 is configured to be connected in parallel with the fourth line to be protected L4 of the differential protection device 2, on the one hand, by a ninth connection point 50 suitable and intended to be connected upstream of the fourth upstream connection terminal 42 and, on the other hand, by a tenth connection point 51 suitable and intended to be connected downstream of the fourth downstream connection terminal 43.
