Description

AIR CONDITIONER (HVAC) ASSEMBLY DEVELOPED FOR WORK MACHINES
THE RELATED ART
Invention relates to an air conditioner assembly used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning in work machines.
The invention particularly relates to an air conditioner assembly capable to perform operation easily during service and maintenance processes in work machines.
PRIOR ART
Setting climatic conditions during use of vehicle by operator is provided by heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system in work machines. In this line, existing air conditioning units in work machines are located behind operator seat and under complete rear console. In case of failure of air conditioning units, when service is needed or periodical maintenance is required, seat, complete real console, complete right console, complete left console and air conditioning front sheet are to be removed. This means working of person to perform maintenance and repair works in a too narrow area. Therefore, the person is in difficult position in ergonomic terms and is under risk in occupational safety aspects. Some developments have been made in air conditioning systems of work machines in order to facilitate service and maintenance procedures.
The application numbered US2006170251 discloses a work machine. Said application discloses that air conditioning unit is located in store area provided in floor area in front of operator’s seat in order to facilitate installation and maintenance works of air conditioning unit.
Application numbered JP2007245958 also relates to a work machine. Said application aims to develop maintenance characteristics of engine and air conditioning unit. In this line, air conditioning unit together with evaporator and fan is located in lower part in front of work machine cabin. Thus easy performance of maintenance works of air conditioning unit located in an area independent of engine is provided.
Another application numbered US2012146388 also relates to a work machine. In said work machine, ventilation apparatus is located under machine chassis outside cabin. With ventilation apparatus mainly fresh air is supplied into cabin and air inside cabin is discharged.
In conclusion, the problems mentioned above and not solved in the light of related art have necessitated novelty in the related art.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In order to eliminate above mentioned disadvantages and bring new advantages in the related art, the invention relates to an air conditioner assembly capable to enable service component to perform operation in service and maintenance processes of work machines.
Main purpose of the invention is to disclose an conditioner assembly facilitating service and maintenance procedures of air conditioning systems of work machines.
Another purpose of the invention is to disclose an air conditioner assembly providing ergonomic working area for personnel working in service and maintenance works.
A further purpose of the invention is to disclose an air conditioner assembly reducing occupational safety risk that can be encountered in service and maintenance works.
In order to achieve the purposes mentioned above and to be described below in the detailed description, the present invention relates to an air conditioner assembly adapted by multiple number of mounting components under floor sheet related to work machine cabin. Accordingly, said air conditioner assembly is characterized in comprising a fixed case connected to floor sheet in a manner position with said mounting components does not change, a moving case associated with fixed case and defining open position in a manner to provide access of air conditioner assembly to all components. A preferred embodiment of the invention is a connector interconnecting fixed case and moving case in a manner to provide free movement to said moving case.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said connectors are preferably hinge.
A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in comprising gas pipes and hot water hoses in a manner it extends outside said fixed case and moving case.
In order to make the embodiment and additional members being subject of the present invention as well as the advantages clearer for better understanding, it should be assessed with reference to the following described figures.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES
Figure 1 is general view of work machine cabin where said air conditioner assembly is shown.
Figure 2 is general view of mounting of said air conditioner assembly of invention to work machine cabin.
Figure 3 shows general view of the air conditioner assembly disclosed under the invention.
Figure 4 is side perspective view of the air conditioner assembly.
Figure 5 is front perspective view of the air conditioner assembly in open position.
Figure 6a is detailed view of the air conditioner assembly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, novelty being subject of this invention has been disclosed solely for the purpose of better understanding of the subject and with samples described in a manner not causing any restrictive effect.
Figure 1 is general view of a work machine having an air conditioner assembly (20) disclosed under the invention. The air conditioner assembly (20) is connected to bottom of floor sheet (1 1 ) of work machine cabin (10). The connection is conducted by means of mounting components (24) comprising bolts (241 ) shown in mounting view given in Figure 2 and washers (242) connected to said bolts (241 ). The air conditioner assembly (20) shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4 mainly comprises of a fixed case (21 ) connected to said mounting components (24) bottom sheet (1 1 ), a moving case (23) also connected to bottom sheet (1 1 ) by means of mounting components (24) and connection members (22) interconnected by means of said moving case (23) and fixed case (21 ). Said connection members (22) are preferably selected as hinge. Moving case (23) moves via said connection members (22) and can go into open position from close position while connected to fixed case (21 ).
The illustrative embodiment shown in Figure 5 comprises throttle engines (21 1 ) located in fixed case (21 ) and conditioning unit (231 ), electrical connections (232) and flow control unit respectively in the moving case (23).
Gas pipes (233) also extending from outside and hot water hoses (234) are located between moving case (23) and fixed case (21 ).
The air heated and cooled by said throttle engines (21 1 ) in air conditioning unit (231 ) is distributed to air baffles and to work machine cabin (10) through fixed case (21 ). Said gas pipes (233) used in the air conditioner assembly (20) are preferably made from metal and said hot water hoses (234) are preferably made from rubber. Said electrical connections (232) preferably consist of socket electrical cables easy to plug in and remove. Thus easy operation is contributed during service and maintenance works. Said flow control unit (235) preferably consists of thermostat and tap and provides control of fluid flow carried through the air conditioner assembly (20).
When the air conditioner assembly (20) maintenance or repair is conducted, service staff (30) bring the air conditioner assembly (20) from close position to open position. This operation is provided by means of dismantling of mounting components (24) connected to bottom sheet (1 1 ) of moving case (23) and rotation of moving case (23) in opening direction (x) by movement via connection members (22) of moving case (23) as shown in Figures 6a and 6b. Upon bringing the air conditioner assembly (20) from close position to open position, all components of the air conditioner assembly (20) to undergo maintenance and repair works are accessible. In addition, since gas pipes (233) and hot water hoses (234) are located outside fixed case (21 ) and moving case (23), maintenance and repair works can be performed without need for dismantling. The air conditioner assembly (20) disclosed under the invention is in embodiment appropriate for use in multiple different types of work machines and is preferably used in an excavator.
Intervention to the air conditioner assembly (20) by service personnel without need for demounting in any part inside work machine cabin (10) in case of any failure or periodical maintenance of the air conditioner assembly (20) of the invention can be made as shown in Figure 7. This is provided by means of enabling accessibility to the air conditioner assembly (20) from outside. When maintenance or repair is to be made in complete heating, ventilation and air conditioning, only access directly to components requiring control can be provided. Thus short time accessibility can be provided and wide and ergonomic working area can be obtained and more controlled environment in terms of occupational safety can be created.
