Zwecks Vergrösserung der inneren Mantelfläche 101 sind eine oder mehrere im Wesentlichen konzentrisch zur Mittelachse M des Schlegelkopfes 10 angeordnete Vertiefungen 105 an der inneren Mantelfläche 101 angeformt. Wenn der Schlegelkopf 10 am Anschlussstück 120 aufgesteckt ist, resultieren daher zwischen der inneren Mantelfläche 101 und dem Anschlussstück 120 ein oder mehrere Hohlräume. Das Klangbild beim Bespielen des Perkussionsinstruments kann auf diese Weise in Abhängigkeit des Einschlusses von Luft und/oder Klebstoff in einem oder mehrere Hohlräume, beeinflusst werden. Eine mit Bezugszeichen 100 bezeichnete äussere Mantelfläche 100 gelangt beim Bespielen des Perkussionsinstruments mit diesem in Berührung, so dass eine Kraft auf die Wandung W des Schlegelkopfs 10 wirkt und diesen mindestens teilweise vorübergehend deformiert. Das Material und/oder Dicke der Wandung W beeinflusst somit direkt das Klangverhalten beim Anspielen bzw. Bespielen des Perkussionsinstruments. Anstelle von Pressen und/oder Verkleben kann der Schlegelkopf 10 auch direkt an das Anschlussstück angegossen werden. Claims (15)
- Drumstick (1) for a percussion instrument, comprising a substantially elongate drumstick shaft (12), wherein a connection piece (120) is integrally formed at least at one shaft end, and said connection piece (120) is covered by a drumstick head (10), characterized in that the drumstick head (10) comprises a blind hole (102) which receives the connection piece (120), the blind hole (102) comprises an inner lateral surface (101) which is in contact with the connection piece (120), and at least one depression (105) is provided on the inner lateral surface (101) such that at least one cavity is formed between the connection piece (120) and the depression (105).
- Drumstick (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the inner lateral surface (101) comprises a plurality of individual depressions (105) and said depressions (105) are arranged annularly on the inner lateral surface (101).
- Drumstick (1) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the depressions (105) comprise an angular shape with a depression width (1050) and a depression length (1052).
- Drumstick (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the depression (105) is configured in the form of an annular groove encircling the inner lateral surface.
- Drumstick (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the cavity which results between the depression (105) and the connection piece (120) is filled with a filling material, preferably with an adhesive, or does not comprise any filling material and is preferably filled with air.
- Drumstick according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the depressions (105) are filled alternately with adhesive and air.
- Drumstick (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the drumstick head (10) is formed from a more elastic material than the connection piece (12), preferably the drumstick head (10) is produced from a polymer.
- Drumstick (1) according to Claim 7, characterized in that the polymer is rubber with a Shore A hardness of between 40 and 70, preferably a Shore A hardness of 60.
- Method for producing a drumstick (1) with a drumstick shaft (12) and a drumstick head (10), characterized in that, in a first method step, a connection piece (120) is integrally formed at at least one end of the drumstick shaft (12), in a second method step, the drumstick head (10) comprising a blind hole (102), which receives the connection piece (120), an inner lateral surface (101) with at least one depression (105), is connected to the connection piece (120) such that at least one cavity is formed between the connection piece (120) and the depression (105).

- Drumstick head (10) according to Claim 11, characterized in that a plurality of individual depressions (105) are provided on the inner lateral surface (101), and said depressions (105) are arranged annularly on the inner lateral surface (101) .
- Drumstick head (10) according to Claim 12, characterized in that the depressions (105) comprise an angular shape with a depression width (1050) and a depression length (1052).
- Drumstick head (10) according to Claim 11, characterized in that the depression (105) is configured in the form of an annular groove encircling the inner lateral surface (101).
- Drumstick head according to one of Claims 11 to 14, characterized in that the drumstick head is produced from a polymer material, preferably a rubber material with a Shore A hardness of between 40 and 70, particularly preferably a Shore A hardness of 60.
