Description

A COOLING DEVICE COMPRISING A BOTTLE HOLDER
  • The present invention relates to a bottle holder used to store bottles in cooling devices.
  • In cooling devices, effective use of the interior storage area is one of the most important factors for the users. Shapes and sizes of bottles complicate the storage process. Placing the bottles inside the cooling device in a well-organized manner bears importance in terms of both safety and user satisfaction. In the state of the art diverse solutions have been developed for storage of bottles. Shelf constructions in diverse shapes for placement of bottles are observed in many cooling devices. Especially shelves with a wavy form for placement of bottles provide a good deal of convenience. However, at times when no bottle is placed in the cooling device, use of such shelves in wavy form becomes difficult. For instance, placement of containers or saucepans with flat bottoms into the cooling device becomes difficult. Sometimes, the user needs cooling of fewer bottles than the number of bottles that fill in the bottle shelf. In such events, total removal of the bottle shelf by the user prevents the user from storing the bottles safely while using the bottle shelf causes the user to ineffectively use the internal storage area.
  • In the state of the art German Patent Application No. DE102011006961, a bottle holder having a foldable mesh construction is disclosed.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooling device comprising a bottle holder that offers different alternatives of use to the user and that can be opened and closed depending as per the user preference.
  • The cooling device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a shelf that is disposed on the body and whereon the foodstuffs are placed; at least one bottle holder that enables bottles to be easily placed on the shelf, and two side walls parallel to each other, disposed on the shelf, and a rear wall disposed between the side walls.
  • The cooling device of the present invention comprises the bottle holder of which one end is disposed on the first or second side wall of the frame and the other end disposed on the rear wall of the frame and that comprises recesses enabling the bottles to be safely seated on the bottle holder. Thus, the bottle holder occupies less space on the shelf.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the bottle holder is in the form of an L. Thereby the user can use the bottle holder and a section of the shelf concurrently.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the bottle holder comprises a holder section of which one end is disposed on the first or second side wall and a carrier section of which one end is mounted to the holder section and the other end to the rear wall of the shelf and which extends in parallel with the first or second side wall of the shelf. The holder section and the carrier section extend in perpendicular to each other, thus creating the L form.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device comprises two bottle holders. One end of one bottle holder is on the first side wall and the other end on the rear wall. One end of the other bottle holder is on the second side wall and the other end on the rear wall. Thus, one or two bottle holders can be used depending on the number of bottles to be placed.

  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the bottle holder has a first position wherein the holder section makes an angle of 90˚ with the first or second side wall. The carrier section is parallel with the first side wall or the second side wall. In the first position, the bottle holder is suitable for the placement of bottles thereon. The bottles can be placed into the recesses arranged on the holder section. The side walls of the bottle extend parallel with the carrier section.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the bottle holder has a second position wherein the holder section is parallel with the first or second side wall. In the second position, the bottle holder is almost adjacent to the first side wall or the second side wall and the rear wall of the shelf. The bottle holder is concealed by being seated on the corners of the shelf. Thus, the bottle holder can be easily brought to the second position by the user, thereby enabling the shelf to be used.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooling device comprises an axis A passing through the points where the L-shaped bottle holder is mounted on the shelf and the bottle holder that can be shifted to the first position or the second position by being rotated 180˚ on the axis A. The position of the bottle holder can be easily changed by the user.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, a rear holder that comprises grooves is provided on the rear wall. The rear sides of the bottles are seated on the rear holder. Thus, the bottles are prevented from sliding off the bottle holder.
