Description

ERGONOMIC SELF-ADHESIVE LABEL FOR CUSTOMIZABLE SEALING WITH
CONTROLLED FRACTURING
The invention relates to an ergonomic self-adhesive label for customizable sealing with controlled fracturing, having a sandwich-type structure provided with at least a portion bounded by perforations, completely removable, for emphasizing the package opening for various products, usable in the pharmaceutical industry, as well.
There are known some seals for emphasizing the package opening, such as patent KR101181126 revealing a sealing security label made of paper, comprising a circuit identifiable (RFID), with a grip area for the finger of the person that will open the package. Another known solution is disclosed by the patent JP2010032708 is an easily separable label-seal, leaving the package surfaces clean after detachment, composed of a material of intermediate support with a pseudo-adhesive layer that can be easily detached and loses its adhesive properties after detachment; the base material provides a linear perforation for tearing of the base material and a slit for tearing an area perpendicular to the said perforation. Patent JP2014194448 describes a hidden seal, which becomes evident only after the removal of a surface layer provided with at least two areas separated by a line of perforations. A seal for envelopes is revealed by the patent JP2009014803, comprising a removable layer provided with a slit, and the removable layer is laminated so to prevent the re-bonding on the support layers, after opening.
A disadvantage of known solutions is the difficulty of removing the seal by people with certain physical or visual disabilities, which fail to identify and grasp the edge of the label-seal. Another disadvantage of known solutions is that breaking the seal can be difficult to observe after re-application of it being made, accidentally or intentionally, because its tearing is done only as a straight line. Another disadvantage of known solutions is that tearing of the label may occur accidentally by snagging the edge of the pack. Another disadvantage of known solutions is that it affects the design of packaging that is applied on, and leave unsightly traces after unsealing, or - otherwise - fail to emphasize enough the unsealing of the package.
The invention provides sealing of packages, including those used in the pharmaceutical industry, to highlight their unsealing and for the labeling of these packages, by using the seal as informational or promotional support.
The technical problem solved by invention resides in manufacturing, by technologies for processing materials from roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet, of an ergonomic self-adhesive label for customized sealing, with controlled fracturing customized depending on the aspect of packaging that is applied on, manually or automatically, easy to use even by elderly people or those affected by certain physical or visual disabilities.
Ergonomic self-adhesive label for customizable sealing with controlled fracturing, according to invention, is made up of at least one layer of filmic material - polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. polyethylene phthalate - and / or paper, having at least a removable part 1 which is completely removed by breaking under a predefined shape along a series of successive perforations 2 set through all the layers of the seal, so that the removable part 1 has a non- adhesive or weak adhesive contact area 3 and is flanked by two non-contiguous areas 4 of the seal, coated with an adhesive 5 on their contact surface with a substrate 6 of a support material, adhesive 5 being strong enough to securely fasten the seal on the substrate 6 of the support material; removable part 1 presents, at least at one end, a grip zone 7 marked to be easily identified visually and / or tactile so being easy to grip with the fingers even by an user with certain physical or visual disabilities and zones 4 can be crossed by some cuts 8 so that the eventual destruction of the seal would be easily identified visually and / or tactile even by an user with certain physical or visual disabilities; successive perforations 2 can be executed in the form of some cuts of length c = 0.5mm...20mm penetrating all layers of the seal, so that between two successive perforations 2 remains a distance b = 0.3mm... 5mm, adjusted according to structural characteristics of the seal and also according to the shape of removable part 1 ; removable part 1 and / or contact area 3 and / or zones 4 of the seal can be customized with various graphic information; removable part 1 and / or contact area 3 and / or zones 4 of the seal can be made wholly or partly of a holographic or filigree material, generic or customized according to client's inquiry or can be customized by security printing such as: microtext, nanotext, guilloche printing, iridescent printing and / or linear or two-dimensional barcode, hidden or visible, or can be printed with security iridescent inks, inks that are activated by heat, moisture or other conditions or inks visible only in ultraviolet or infrared, and at client's request, the seal can incorporate radio frequency identification devices: RFID, NFC, etc.
Ergonomic self-adhesive label for customizable sealing with controlled fracturing, according to invention, has the following advantages:
- it is very easy to use;
- it is reliable due the constructive simplicity;
- provides easy observation of the package opening;
- it can be applied manually or automatically, on either side of the package, since it can be manufactured and delivered by transfer technologies from roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet;
- fits well on the packaging, preventing the risk of accidental "snagging";
- the size and color are variable depending on requests, and label shape can be round, square, rectangle, triangle, etc., so changing the shape and size is not affecting the functionality of the label;
- it can be customized as informational support, possibly identifiable by contactless reading technologies (RFID, NFC, etc.);
- allows the fabrication using completely transparent material so not to affect the design of the packaging that it adheres on;
- detaching the label by removing the removable part does not destroy the package that it has been applied on;
- allow emphasizing, separately or simultaneously, both of the packaging unsealing and also of the label's destruction;
- the shape of the removable part is precisely predefined, so that it always detaches in the same predefined shape, instead of tearing up "at random"; - after detaching the removable part, no unsightly traces remain on the packaging and there is no risk of the removable part becoming stuck elsewhere (e.g.: on clothing, packaging, desktop etc.);
- invention may be applied in various industries, including the pharmaceutical industry or in the food industry, through the use of compliant materials, also being suitable for sterile medium production.
As follows, seven preferred embodiments are given for an ergonomic self-adhesive label for customizable sealing with controlled fracturing, according to invention, in connection with:
