The slider 26 is also able to cooperate with the matrix 16. More specifically, the slider 16 comprises a punch 36 and an auxiliary presser 38; the punch 36 is able to deform the stamping against a portion 40 of the receiving surface 20 'and the auxiliary presser 38 is able to press a distal portion of the edge 6 of the press against a corresponding portion 42 of the receiving surface 20 'of the die 16 before deforming said edge. By distal portion of the edge 6 of the stamp 2 is meant a portion of the edge of the stamping which is distal or remote from the center (not visible) of the stamp 2. This is the portion of the edge s' extending along the free end of the elongated edge 6. The portion 40 of the receiving surface 20 'with which the punch 36 cooperates forms a first concave profile; the portion 42 of the surface of receiving 20 'with which cooperates the auxiliary presser 38 forms a second generally straight profile. The auxiliary presser 38 is mounted to move in translation on the slider 26, preferably in a direction parallel to the direction of sliding of the slider 26. The slider comprises elastic means, such as one or more springs 44, exerting an elastic force on the auxiliary presser 38. This elastic force is directed towards the receiving surface 20 'of the stamping on the die. The auxiliary presser 38 may comprise a pressing surface 39 with an irregular profile, preferably a ribbed profile. A corresponding rib 46 can be seen on the portion 42 of the receiving surface 20 '. The slider 26 is slidable with respect to the die 16 in an inclined direction, with respect to the direction of approach between the upper and lower frames, of an angle of between 20 ° and 80 ° in order to deform the edge 6 of the stamped. The direction of approach between the frames is illustrated by an arrow on the image. In order to effect the sliding of the slider 26 in the tooling 12, the slider comprises a first sliding surface 48 with respect to the lower frame 14 and a second sliding surface 50 with respect to the upper frame 30. The presser 32, the presser auxiliary 38 and the punch 36 are also intended, in the same approaching movement of the lower and upper frames 14 and 30, to press the edge 6 of the stamping 2 against the receiving surface referenced "20" in connection with the figure 2 that of the die 16 outside the receiving surface 20 'formed by the two elements 22 and 22'.

Le presseur principal 32 presse également contre la portion centrale 54 du bord 6. Le bâti inférieur 14 comprend des cames 56 et 56' qui sont mobiles par rapprochement du bâti supérieur 30 vers le bâti inférieur 14, la matrice 16 étant supportée par lesdites cames 56 et 56'. En particulier, le premier bâti 14 comprend un boisseau 58 apte à coulisser longitudinalement dans ledit bâti 14 ; le boisseau 58 comprend les deux rangées de cames 56 et 56' aptes à coopérer avec les premier et deuxième éléments 22 et 22' de la matrice 16, respectivement, en vue d'assurer la mobilité desdits éléments. On peut voir que le premier élément 22 de la matrice 16 comprend une première surface de glissement 60 avec le bâti inférieur 14 de façon à assurer une première mobilité du premier élément 22 par rapport audit bâti. On peut aussi observer que le premier élément 22 comprend, en outre, une deuxième surface de glissement 62 avec le deuxième élément 22' de façon à assurer une deuxième mobilité du deuxième élément 22' par rapport au premier élément 22. Le boisseau 58 est coulissant longitudinalement par rapprochement du bâti supérieur 30 vers le bâti inférieur 14 ; le mécanisme générant ce coulissement n'est cependant pas représenté. Les cames 56 et 56' sont configurées de sorte à ce que les mouvements des deux éléments 22 et 22' de la matrice 16 soient successifs.The figure 4 is a view in the same plane of section as that seen in relation to the figure 3 .   • Claims (7)

    1. A press tool (12) for shaping a stamping piece, in particular of the bodywork of a motor vehicle, including:
      - a die (16) having a receiving surface (20; 20') for the stamping piece intended to cooperate with a main presser (32);
      - a slide (26) having a punch (36) able to deform an edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) against the receiving surface (20; 20') of the die (16); and
      - an auxiliary presser (38) able to press against the receiving surface (20') a distal portion (52) of the edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) before the punch (36) is able to deform said edge (6), the auxiliary presser (38) being movably spring-mounted in translation over the slide (26) preferably along a direction parallel to the sliding direction of the slide (26),
      characterized in that the main presser (32) is movably spring-mounted on the upper frame (30), said main presser being adjacent to the punch (36) and able to press the edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) against a central and main portion (34) of the receiving surface (20; 20') of the die before the punch (36), as positioned between the auxiliary presser (38) and the main presser (32), is able to deform said edge (6).
    2. The press tool (12) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the auxiliary presser (38) includes a pressing surface (39) with an irregular profile, preferably a ridged profile.
    3. The press tool (12) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the receiving surface (20') is generally elongated, the section of said surface (20') having a generally curved profile, preferably forming an undercut (28).
    4. The press tool (12) according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the portion of the receiving surface (20') cooperating with the slide (26) includes a first concave profile (40) cooperating with the punch (36) and a second, generally straight, profile (42) cooperating with the auxiliary presser (38).
    5. The press tool (12) according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the receiving surface (20') is formed by two die elements (22; 22') which are adjacent and movable in translation one with respect to the other.
    6. The press tool (12) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it further includes:
      - a first, preferably lower, frame (14), supporting the die (16);
      - a second, preferably upper, frame (30), supporting the slide (26) able to cooperate with the die (16) by movement closer between the first (14) and second (30) frames;
      the slide (26) being able to slide with respect to the die (16) in an inclined direction with respect to the direction of closer movement of the first (14) and second (30) frames, by an angle comprised between 20° and 80° with a view to deforming the edge (6) of the stamping piece (2).
    7. A method for shaping a stamping piece (2), in particular of the bodywork of a motor vehicle, generally elongated, said method including the following steps:
      a) receiving a generally elongated edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) in a stamping press tool (12);
      b) deformation of the edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) ;
      characterized in that the tool (12) is in accordance with one of Claims 1 to 6, the method further including the pressing, by means of the auxiliary presser (38) of the edge (6) of the stamping piece (2) before and/or during its deformation.
