Abstract

The invention relates to an advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3), characterised in that it comprises a support (4) equipped with means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5). The device additionally comprises means suitable for holding advertising motifs used on said means for containing and/or holding the replacement ball (5).

Description

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an advertising device for corners of a football pitch.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently there is a problem during the game in football matches, in which sometimes the ball is not quickly available to take a corner or corner kick, or a replacement ball is not available.
This problem, in addition, is increased many times by interested actions of the ball boys, who according to the convenience of the result more or less favorable to the equipment owner of the pitch, are unacceptably delayed in providing a replacement ball to the player who is going to execute the corner kick.
On the other hand, there are also no known devices specially adapted to carry advertising in these areas of a football pitch, when there are devices adapted to arrange advertising in other parts of a football pitch, such as for example the utility model with application number U200801098 referring to a hinged and flexible frame with rounded corners to place advertising next to the soccer goals.
These disadvantages are overcome by the use of the device of the invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The advertising device for corners of a football pitch has a configuration comprising a support equipped with means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball.
This device is placed in an area close to the corner, which is a place from which often kicks are made with a stopped ball, so that if this kick wants to do quickly, it is not necessary to look for the ball that has left the baseline or wait for the ball boys to facilitate another, but simply take the replacement ball, place it in the corner and kick it. Subsequently the local ball boy can replace the replacement ball for another, so that the device will be ready for its next use.
In addition to the above, the device comprises means suitable for holding advertising motifs used on the means for containing and/or holding the replacement ball.
In this way, the cost of manufacturing and implementation of the device itself can be covered by the revenues corresponding to the advertising to be made available in the same.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Figures 1, 2 and 3 show different views of three variants of the device of the invention.
Figure 4 shows a detail of a balloon socket, valid for variants 2 or 3 of the device of the invention, but which specifically refers to the variant shown in Figure 2.
Figure 5 shows a variant of the means suitable for holding advertising motifs, materialized on the embodiment of Figure 2.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

The advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) of the invention comprises a support (4) equipped with means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5), and means suitable for holding advertising motifs used on the means for containing and/or holding the replacement ball (5).
The means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5) may comprises a container (6), as shown in Figure 1. The container (6) may comprise a cover (6a) which will prevent the dragging of the replacement ball (5) in case of wind.
Another alternative for the means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5) comprises a base (7) with immobilizing sockets (7a) of such replacement ball (5). This variant is shown in Figures 2 and 3, while a detail of said concave-shaped socket (7a) is shown in Figure 4.
The container (6) and/or the base (7) may be extended on a pedestal (9) (Figure 3) and/or on feet (10) (Figure 2) which will raise them relative to the field (3) to increase the visibility and comfort in picking up the replacement ball (5), or to give continuity to the conventional advertising fence (61) of the football pitch (3) as shown in Figure 2.
The container (6) and/or the base (7), directly or through its pedestal (9) and/or feet (10) if implemented, are placed in an area close to the corresponding corner (2), and this positioning is preferably removable so that the container, so that the container (6) and/or base (7) can be removed for entry and exit of players if the accesses to the changing rooms are through the corner (2), or so that, in case of accidental impact with any player, these elements of the device (1) move without causing damage. For this same purpose, the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10) are ideally made of soft and light materials. In such cases it may be necessary to incorporate some ballast (50) into the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10) if the material is so light that it can be dragged by the wind. These ballasts (50) will preferably be located inside or fixed to these elements (see Figures 3 and 5).
The container (6) and/or the base (7), as well as the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10) if implemented, comprise a plurality of visible outer faces (8), so that its utilization for the incorporation of advertising will be sought. Accordingly, the means suitable for holding advertising motifs (15) may comprise precisely the visible outer faces (8) of the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10) providing by gluing, silk-screen, etc. on said faces (8) the advertising motifs (15).
The container (6) and/or the base (7), as well as the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10), may be wholly or partly materialized in economical and recyclable materials such as cardboard sheets, plastic etc., so that advertising motifs can be printed or screen printed directly on their visible outer faces (8), and they can be replaced by substituting these parts of the device (1) for the low cost thereof.
Another possibility for materializing the means suitable for holding advertising motifs is to provide enlargements (11) in the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10), being able to provide in these enlargements (11) the advertising motifs (15) either glued or screen-printed directly (see Figure 5).
A further or alternative possibility for materializing the means suitable for holding advertising motifs (15) would be to arrange them in interchangeable portions (12) in hooks (13) arranged in the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) y/or the feet (10). In Figure 2, this materialization can be seen in the left foot, while in the right foot the advertising motifs (15) are directly glued on said foot.
Having sufficiently described the nature of the invention, as well as the manner in which is realized in the practice, it should be noted that the provisions indicated and represented above in the accompanying drawings are susceptible to modifications of detail insofar as they do not alter the fundamental principle.

Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to claim 1, characterized in that the means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5) comprise a container (6).
Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to claim 2, characterized in that the container (6) comprises a cover (6a).
Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to claim 1, characterized in that the means for containing and/or holding a replacement ball (5) comprise a base (7) with immobilizing sockets (7a) for the replacement ball (5).
Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to any of claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the container (6) and/or the base (7) are extended on a pedestal (9) and/or on feet (10).
Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to any of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that the container (6) and/or the base (7) are removably positioned directly or indirectly in an area close to the corresponding corner (2).
Advertising device (1) for corners (2) of a football pitch (3) according to any of claims 2 to 6, characterized in that the container (6), the base (7), the pedestal (9) and/or the feet (10) are made of soft and light materials.
