Description

  • The invention relates to a chair with a deformable seat shell, which forms a seat part and a backrest, and a frame, wherein the seat part via a first pivot and the backrest are connected via a second pivot to the frame, wherein the pivot joints by a deforming the Seat shell allow conditional rotation of the seat part and the backrest relative to the frame.
  • Such a chair is out of the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 known. The frame of the chair disclosed therein comprises a foot portion and a seat base pivotally connected to the foot portion about a vertical axis. The seat base is connected to the seat part near the front edge of the seat via a first pivot which allows rotation about an axis of rotation oriented in the vertical direction of the chair. Furthermore, a backrest support is provided which comprises two L-shaped struts. In each case one end of the struts is rotatably mounted on each one end of a torsion bar of the seat base. The thus defined axis of rotation extends in the transverse direction of the chair and intersects the aligned in the vertical direction of rotation of the first rotary joint. The other ends of the struts are connected via a ball joint off-center with the backrest.
  • Based on this state of the art, the invention has the object underlying to provide a chair that the mobility of the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 has known chair, but it is cheaper to produce.
  • This object is achieved by means of a chair according to claim 1. Advantageous embodiments thereof are the subject of the further claims and will become apparent from the following description of the invention.
  • A generic chair with a (in the context of a proposed use) deformable seat shell, a seat part and a backrest (preferably integral), and a frame, wherein the seat part are connected via a first pivot and the backrest via a second pivot joint with the frame, the hinges allow a conditional by deforming the seat shell twisting of the seat part and the backrest relative to the frame, is inventively characterized in that the second pivot is connected centrally with respect to the transverse direction of the chair with the backrest.

  • The embodiment of the chair according to the invention thus provides an arrangement of the two pivot joints connecting the seat shell to the frame in the sagittal plane of a user of the chair. This makes it possible to achieve the desired mobility in conjunction with the deformable seat shell, wherein the number of parts required for the formation of the frame in comparison to that of the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 known chair is reduced. In particular, instead of the two, a backrest support forming struts, in the chair according to the DE 10 2011 001 811 A1 are connected via two pivot joints with a seat base and the backrest, a one-piece backrest support can be used, which is connected via only a rotary joint, which may be preferably in the form of a ball joint, connected to the backrest. In addition, it can be provided that the backrest support also integrates the first pivot joint, via which the frame is connected to the seat part of the seat shell.
  • In order to permit as far as possible deformation of the seat shell, it can preferably be provided that the first hinge allows rotation about at least one (possibly only this one) aligned in the vertical direction of the chair first axis of rotation. Likewise, it can be provided that the second pivot allows twisting about at least one (possibly only this one) aligned in the longitudinal direction of the chair second axis of rotation.
  • Here, the "vertical direction" of the chair is understood to mean any direction that extends from an underside of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair into a horizontally oriented plane arranged below the chair) in the direction of an upper side of the chair (in particular a projection of the chair in FIG a plane horizontally oriented above the chair).   • In a preferred embodiment of the chair according to the invention can be provided that the seat part is still connected via at least one bearing with the frame, wherein the bearing is designed such that this obstructs a rotation of the seat part about an aligned in the longitudinal direction of the chair axis. As a result, the seat shell is given stability in the region of the seat part, which hinders lateral tilting of the seat shell in the region of the seat front edge in the event of an off-center loading by the user.   • The bearing can be functionally integrated into the first pivot. However, it can be advantageous if the bearing is formed separately from the first rotary joint and in particular is arranged at a distance therefrom in the transverse direction of the chair. Particularly preferably, at least two such bearings can be provided, which are arranged spaced on both sides of the first pivot bearing.
  • A structurally simple and functionally advantageous embodiment of the or the bearing can provide that two bearing parts, one of which with the frame and the another is connected to the seat, are mutually displaceable in a transverse direction and longitudinal direction of the chair extending plane.
  • In order to allow as far as possible deformation of the seat, it may further be provided in the chair according to the invention that the first hinge in the comprehensive half of the seat edge, preferably in the third or quarter of the seat leading edge and particularly preferably in the fifth seat covering the seat leading edge (each related on the extension of the seat part in the longitudinal direction of the chair) of the seat part is arranged.
  • The same purpose may be served if the second pivot is located above the body center of gravity of a (norm) user. In this case, the second rotary joint can be arranged in particular in the half of the backrest edge having the backrest (relative to the extent of the backrest in the vertical direction of the chair).
  • For example, "(standard) user" means the adult P95 percentile.
  • In a further preferred embodiment of the chair according to the invention can be provided that a connected via the second pivot to the backrest backrest support of the frame is connected via a third pivot with a connected via the first pivot to the seat part seat base of the frame.   • Such a tilt mobility is perceived as particularly comfortable when reclining is associated with at least slight extension of the body. Accordingly, in the chair according to the invention may preferably be provided that this is adjustable between at least an upright first position and a reclined second position, wherein an angle between the seat part and the backrest in the second position is greater than in the first position.

  • In order to avoid an unfavorable deformation of the seat shell, in particular in the realization of a tilting mobility of the chair, it may further be preferred for the first hinge to rotate the seat part relative to the corresponding section of the frame about an axis of rotation oriented in the transverse direction of the chair and / or second pivot allows rotation of the backrest relative to the corresponding portion of the frame about a rotational axis aligned in the transverse direction of the chair.
  • It may be perceived as particularly comfortable when, at the time of leaning back of the backrest, the seat part, in particular the front edge of the seat part, is raised at the same time.   • This functionality of the chair can be structurally advantageously implemented when the seat part, in particular via the first pivot, is fixed to a cross member, wherein the cross member rotatably with a lever (in particular at one end of this lever) and the lever (in particular at its other end ) is rotatably connected to the seat base and wherein a rotational movement of the lever relative to the seat base is coupled via a rod with a rotational movement of the backrest support about the axis of rotation of the third pivot joint.
  • Again, to improve the comfort in the use of the chair, this may preferably be formed as a swivel chair, in which a connected via the first pivot to the seat part seat base of the frame is connected via a hinge with a foot part of the frame.
  • The seat of the chair may preferably be integrally formed, so that the seat part and the backrest (further preferably in one piece) merge into one another.
  • Alternatively, however, it can also be provided that the seat shell comprises a seat part and a backrest, which are designed as separate components, and a frame connecting the seat part and the backrest. The frame may preferably be formed as centrally arranged with respect to the transverse direction of the chair, for example, L-shaped or arcuate extending beams. In this case, it may further be preferred that the deformation of the seat shell is made possible or absorbed, in particular, by the frame. For example, an embodiment of the frame in the form of a (single or multilayer) leaf spring may be advantageous. Such an embodiment of the seat of the chair according to the invention makes it possible to form the seat part and the backrest as relatively rigid components, while the easily deformable frame ensures the deformability of the seat shell overall at relatively low forces.
  • Such a chair according to the invention can also be advantageously designed so that the seat part in the longitudinal direction of the chair and / or the backrest in the vertical direction of the chair slidably mounted on the frame is / are. The displacement can be provided only temporarily after a release of a locking device. This allows the best possible adaptation of the seat to different body dimensions of users.

Claims (15)

  1.
