Bei den Innenleitern 3 des zweiten Steckverbinders 2 erfolgt die Fixierung stoffschlüssig durch Kleben. Selbstverständlich ist hier aber auch eine kraftschlüssig Fixierung oder eine formschlüssige Fixierung, beispielsweise durch Rastelemente, möglich. Claims (9)

  1. Connection by insertion comprising a first insertion-type connector (1) and a second insertion-type connector (2), the insertion-type connectors (1, 2) each having at least two contact members, with the contact members of the first insertion-type connector (1) making contact at contact points with the contact members of the second insertion-type connector (2) when the connection by insertion is in the inserted state, the contact members of both insertion-type connectors (1, 2) taking the form of elastically deflectable contact tongues (7) which project into an unoccupied space, of which a first contact tongue (7) of each contact member is part of a centre conductor (3) and a second contact tongue (7) of each contact members is part of an outer conductor (4) which surrounds the centre conductor (3) in a co-axial arrangement, characterised in that contact with each of the contact tongues (7) of the second insertion-type connector (2) is made by a plurality of resilient contact tongues (8) of the first insertion-type connector (1) in a pincer-like fashion.
  2. Connection by insertion according to claim 1, characterised in that the contact tongues (7) of the centre conductors (3) are surrounded by respective contact tongues (7) of the outer conductors (4).
  3. Connection by insertion according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contact tongues (7) take the form of components produced by stamping or punching or by stamping or punching and bending.
  4. Connection by insertion according to one of the preceding claims, characterised by insulating main bodies (5) arranged between each of the outer conductors (4) and centre conductors (3) of the insertion-type connectors (1, 2).
  5. Connection by insertion according to claim 4, characterised in that the cross-sections of the contact tongues (7) formed by the centre conductors (3) are of a larger form than the cross-sections of those portions of the centre conductors (3) which are surrounded by the insulating main bodies (5), thus producing impedances which are substantially the same.
  6. Connection by insertion according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the first insertion-type connector (1) and/or the second insertion-type connector (2) have/has a plurality of pairs of centre and outer conductors, the insulating main bodies or body (5) extending both between the centre conductors (3) and outer conductors (4) of the pairs of centre and outer conductors and between the pairs of centre and outer conductors themselves.
  7. Connection by insertion according to claim 6, characterised in that the insulating main body (5) of at least one of the insertion-type connectors (1, 2) forms a housing (7) which surrounds the contact tongues (7).
  8. Connection by insertion according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the centre conductor (3) and the outer conductor (4) of at least one of the insertion-type connectors (1, 2) form at their opposite ends from the contact tongues (7) contact regions (6) for making contact with a printed-circuit board.
  9. Connection by insertion according to claim 4 or one of the claims dependent on claim 4, characterised in that the insulating main body (5) of at least one insertion-type connector (1, 2) forms fastening means for connection to a printed-circuit board.
