Abstract
Description
- La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de formation d'une zone d'identification, notamment colorée, sur un câble d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication, en particulier sur une gaine extérieure revêtue du câble. Elle concerne notamment des câbles moyenne et haute tension.
- Les câbles d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication comprennent typiquement, dans le cas des câbles d'énergie, des câbles basse, moyenne et haute tension, et, dans le cas des câbles de télécommunication, des câbles à fibres optiques, à paires de fils de cuivre ou coaxiaux.
- Il est habituel de former une ou plusieurs zones d'identification, par exemple par des lignes d'identification colorées, sur ces câbles d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication. La ligne d'identification sert à identifier la nature du câble. On peut ainsi utiliser une ligne d'identification rouge dans le cas des câbles moyenne et haute tension, une ligne d'identification orange dans le cas des câbles à fibres optiques, une ligne d'identification verte pour les câbles de télécommunication à conducteurs métalliques, ou encore une ligne bleue ou jaune pour les câbles basse tension.
- La ou les lignes d'identification sont en général formées sur la gaine du câble d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication.
- Une difficulté survient lorsque, pour des applications particulières, la gaine est recouverte d'un matériau. Par exemple, pour les câbles moyenne et haute tension, il est habituel de recouvrir la gaine d'une couche semi-conductrice, de manière à réaliser des essais électriques entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur de la gaine pour vérifier le bon état de la gaine, par exemple après l'installation du câble. Il est également habituel de recouvrir les gaines résistant au feu d'une couche d'un matériau plus dur, pour par exemple améliorer le glissement du câble dans un tube. On peut également recouvrir la gaine d'un matériau permettant de protéger le câble contre les rongeurs.
- Ces applications particulières sont illustrées à la
figure 1 . Un câble 1 d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication 1 comprend une gaine extérieure 2, qui est recouverte d'une couche de matériau 3. Une ou plusieurs lignes d'identification 4 sont disposées sur la couche de matériau 3, par exemple deux lignes d'identification disposées à 180° l'une de l'autre. Chaque ligne d'identification 4, représentée en pointillé, est réalisée par le dépôt d'une couche supplémentaire sur la couche de matériau 3. - La formation de la ligne d'identification 4, généralement réalisée par extrusion, a pour inconvénient qu'elle nécessite d'utiliser trois matériaux différents, un matériau pour la gaine 2, un matériau pour la couche de matériau 3 recouvrant la gaine 2, et un matériau pour la ligne d'identification 4, ce qui complexifie le procédé.
- La présente invention vise à remédier à ces inconvénients.
- Elle propose en particulier un procédé simplifié de formation d'une zone d'identification sur une gaine revêtue.
- L'invention a ainsi pour objet un procédé de formation d'une zone d'identification sur un câble d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication muni d'une gaine revêtue.
- Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes :
- une étape de formation d'une gaine munie d'un élément d'identification, et
- une étape de recouvrement partiel de la gaine par un revêtement, de manière à laisser apparent ledit élément d'identification, l'élément d'identification apparent constituant ainsi la zone d'identification du câble.
- Ainsi, on ne forme plus la zone d'identification en ajoutant une bande sur la gaine, mais en utilisant l'élément d'identification de la gaine elle-même, ce qui permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'un matériau supplémentaire pour former la zone d'identification.
- L'élément d'identification peut être une zone colorée de la gaine.
- La gaine peut être entièrement colorée.
- La zone d'identification peut se présenter sous la forme d'une ligne d'identification.
- La formation de la gaine et le recouvrement de la gaine peuvent être réalisés par extrusion, et notamment en une seule opération d'extrusion.
- Le revêtement peut être une couche semi-conductrice. Le câble peut être dans ce cas un câble moyenne ou haute tension.
- La zone d'identification peut être de forme rectangulaire.
- La gaine peut comprendre du PVC, du polyéthylène, des matériaux retardateurs de flamme ou d'autres matériaux usuels de gainage de câble tels que les caoutchoucs.
- Le procédé peut comprendre la formation de plusieurs zones d'identification, chaque zone d'identification étant constituée d'une portion apparente d'un élément d'identification de la gaine.
- D'autres caractéristiques et avantages de la présente invention apparaîtront plus clairement à la lecture de la description suivante donnée à titre d'exemple illustratif et non limitatif et faite en référence aux dessins annexés sur lesquels :
- la
figure 1 , déjà décrite, est une vue en perspective d'un câble obtenu par un procédé de l'état de la technique, et - la
figure 2 est une vue en perspective d'un câble obtenu par un procédé selon l'invention. - Conformément au procédé selon l'invention, et tel qu'illustré à la
figure 2 , sur laquelle les éléments identiques à ceux de lafigure 1 portent les mêmes références, on forme tout d'abord une gaine colorée 2, représentée en pointillé. On pourrait également envisager d'utiliser à la place de la couleur tout signe d'identification adéquat, comme par exemple des chiffres, des lettres, et/ou des éléments visuels. La gaine ou enveloppe de protection extérieure 2 est une garniture continue et uniforme entourant l'ensemble de conducteurs ou les fibres optiques, selon la nature du câble 1, et assurant la protection de ces éléments contre l'humidité et les détériorations d'origine mécanique ou chimique. Elle protège également contre les dommages mécaniques et des pertes d'huile provenant du câble 1. - On dépose ensuite une couche d'un revêtement 3 autour de la gaine 2. La couche de revêtement 3 recouvre partiellement la gaine 2, ce qui laisse apparaître une portion de gaine colorée 21. C'est cette portion de gaine colorée 21, non recouverte par la couche de revêtement 3 et visible à travers l'ouverture du revêtement 3, qui constitue la ligne d'identification du câble 1. La portion apparente 21 de la gaine peut être une bande de forme allongée. Comparé au procédé de l'état de la technique, on utilise ainsi deux matériaux au lieu de trois, ce qui simplifie le procédé.
Claims (10)
- Procédé de formation d'une zone d'identification (21) sur un câble d'énergie et/ou de télécommunication (1) muni d'une gaine revêtue (2,3), le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes:- une étape de formation d'une gaine (2) munie d'un élément d'identification, et- une étape de recouvrement partiel de la gaine (2) par un revêtement (3), de manière à laisser apparent ledit élément d'identification, l'élément d'identification apparent constituant ainsi la zone d'identification (21) du câble (1).
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'élément d'identification est une zone colorée de la gaine (2).
- Procédé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la gaine (2) est entièrement colorée.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la zone d'identification (21) se présente sous la forme d'une ligne d'identification.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la formation de la gaine (2) et le recouvrement de la gaine (2) sont réalisés par extrusion.
- Procédé selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que la formation de la gaine (2) et le recouvrement de la gaine (2) sont réalisés en une seule opération d'extrusion.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que le revêtement (3) est une couche semi-conductrice.
- Procédé selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le câble (1) est un câble moyenne ou haute tension.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que la zone d'identification (21) est de forme rectangulaire.
- Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend la formation de plusieurs zones d'identification (21), chaque zone d'identification (21) étant constituée d'une portion apparente d'un élément d'identification de la gaine (2).
