Description

  • The invention relates to a seat / reclining furniture with a backrest and a headrest, which is fastened by means of a pivot fitting on the backrest and about a pivot axis between a Einklappstellung and a Ausklappstellung is pivotable. Such seating / reclining furniture are known in the art.
  • To adjust the headrest this is usually pivoted manually between the Einklappstellung and the Ausklappstellung. These positions and other positions of the headrest can be defined and supported by stops and / or a locking function of the swivel fitting.
  • Against this background, the task is to increase the comfort of the operation of the headrest.
  • The object is achieved by a sitting / lying furniture with the features of claim 1.
  • Advantageous developments of the invention are also described in the subclaims and the figures.
  • Fig. 1 and 2
show in a cross section the backrest and the headrest of an embodiment of a sitting / lying furniture according to the invention in the folded position ( Fig. 1 ) as well as in the Ausklappstellung ( Fig. 2 ) of the headrest.
    3 and 4
show in a cross section the backrest and the headrest of another embodiment of a sitting / lying furniture according to the invention in the folded position ( Fig. 3 ) as well as in the Ausklappstellung ( Fig. 4 ) of the headrest.
  • Both embodiments shown in the figures of a sitting / lying furniture 11 according to the invention each comprise a backrest 13, which is arranged substantially vertically, and a headrest 15 arranged thereon, which are arranged between a substantially horizontal orientation (Einklappstellung, Fig. 1 and 3 ) and a substantially vertical orientation (Ausklappstellung, Fig. 2 and 4 ) is pivotable.
  • The backrest 13 is designed essentially as a carrier, base part or hollow body 17, which has a padding 19 on at least one outer side (in the figures the left outer side in each case). Fixed to the hollow body 17 is a pivot fitting 21, which has a connecting portion 23 and a bearing portion 25, wherein the connecting portion 23 protrudes from the interior of the hollow body 17 and thus connects the hollow body 17 with the bearing portion 25. The bearing portion 25 is formed substantially as a bearing for a shaft 27 of the headrest 15, so that the headrest 15 is pivotally supported about a pivot axis S defined by the shaft 27 and connected to the seat back 13 via the pivot bracket 21.
  • The headrest 15 is essentially formed by a base plate 29, which has a padding 31 at least on one side. The headrest 15 can between the Einklappstellung and the Ausklappstellung be pivoted by an angular range, for example, between 70 ° and 120 °, preferably at least 90 °, so that a transition between a horizontal and a vertical position can be achieved. In particular, the angular difference between the Einklappstellung and Ausklappstellung as shown may be about 108 °, the headrest in the Ausklappstellung ( Fig. 2 and 4 ) is pivoted beyond the vertical.
  • In the embodiment according to the Fig. 1 and 2 comprises the connecting portion 23 of the pivot fitting 21 two angled chrome rods, which at least in the Ausklappstellung ( Fig. 2 ) of the headrest 15 visible behind the headrest 15 out of the backrest 13 and into the headrest 15 in (under the viewing angle shown in the figures, ie in the illustrated side view, one of the chrome bars is covered by the other). The chrome poles are deliberately designed as visible design elements and contribute to the appearance of the sitting / lying furniture.
  • The backrest 13 and the headrest 15 with their respective upholstery 19, 31 are surrounded by respective separate covers 33 and 35, while the pivot fitting 21 at least with parts of the connecting portion 23 visible outside the backrest 13 and the headrest 15 and their covers 33 and 35 runs.
  • In contrast to this embodiment, in the embodiment according to the Fig. 3 and 4 the backrest 13 and the headrest 15 surrounded by a common cover 33, 35, wherein the respective upholstery 19, 31 seamlessly merge into each other, so that the backrest 13, the pivot fitting 21 and the headrest 15 appear to be formed outwardly as one piece. To avoid in this embodiment that when unfolding the headrest 15 of the cover 33, 35 throws at the transition between the padding 19 of the backrest 13 and the padding 31 of the headrest 15 folds, the base plate 29 of the headrest 15 has a mechanism 37, by folding out the headrest 15th to an extension of the base plate 29, so to an extension of the headrest 15, leads, so that the cover 33, 35 is tightened.
  • In addition to the pivot fitting 21, which forms a simple axis of rotation for the pivoting of the headrest 15, a motor fitting 39 is provided for the motorized pivoting of the headrest 15 between the backrest 13 and the headrest 15. This engine fitting 39 comprises a motor 41 which is mounted on the backrest 13 and has an output element 43 which can be adjusted by the motor 41 to a linear adjustment movement between an engagement position and a disengagement position. The output element 43 may be, for example, a reciprocating piston or a rotary spindle.
  • In addition, the motor fitting 39 comprises a toggle arrangement 45, via which the output element 43 of the motor 41 is connected to the headrest 15, so that an adjusting movement of the motor 41 can be derived to a pivoting movement of the headrest 15. In this case, in the embodiments shown, the disengagement position, in which the output element 43 protrudes maximally from the motor 41, corresponds to the deployed position of the headrest 15 and corresponds to the engagement position in which the output element 43 protrudes minimally from the motor 41, the Einklappstellung the headrest 15th Es but also embodiments are possible in which this relationship is just the reverse, the engagement position thus corresponds to the Ausklappstellung and the disengagement corresponds to the Einklappstellung.
  • The articulated lever arrangement 45 comprises at least one deflection lever 47 and at least one drive lever 49, which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. The deflection lever 47 is mounted in each case pivotably about a deflection axis U on the backrest 13. For this purpose, in particular a fastening plate 51 may be provided in the interior of the hollow body 17 of the backrest 13. Furthermore, the respective deflection lever 47 has an input section 53, with which the deflection lever 47 is articulated on the output element 43 of the motor 41, and an output section 55, with which the deflection lever 47 is pivotally connected to one end of the drive lever 49. With the opposite end of the integrally formed drive lever 49 is in turn articulated to a drive point 57 of the headrest 15, which is spaced from the pivot axis S.
  • In this way, a motor adjusting movement of the output element 43 of the motor 41 can be received at the input portion 53 of the reversing lever 47 and lead to a pivoting of the reversing lever 47 about its deflection axis U. As a result, the adjusting movement is deflected to a defined arc-shaped movement of the output section 55. The output section 55 in turn can drive the drive lever 49 in this manner, so that the adjustment movement is finally transmitted to the drive point 57 of the headrest 15. Since the drive point 57 of the headrest 15 is spaced from the pivot axis S about which the headrest 15 is pivotally mounted, the adjustment movement of the output element 43 of the motor 41 transmitted to the drive point 57 by the articulated lever arrangement 45 thus leads to a pivoting of the headrest 15.
  • This basic mechanism is implemented in both embodiments shown in the figures. The concrete kinematics results In each case from the suitably selected shape and arrangement of the deflection and drive lever 47, 49. By their interaction, the linear displacement of the motor 41 can be derived insofar along particularly suitable courses within the sitting / lying furniture 11 to a pivotal movement of the headrest 15, as the toggle assembly 45 is particularly inconspicuous, especially invisible from the outside, possibly within the backrest 13 and the headrest 15 can be performed.
  • For attachment to the backrest 13, the motor 41 has a mounting portion 59, against which it is supported. Advantageously, the attachment portion 59 allows attachment of the motor 41 to the seatback 13 such that the motor 41 is pivotally mounted about the attachment portion 59 on the seatback 13 at least within a certain range. Thus, the linearly adjustable output element 43 of the motor 41 is possible to deviate to some extent laterally to the linear adjustment direction. This is necessary because the input section 53 of the deflection lever 47 can not be adjusted purely linearly due to the pivotable mounting of the deflection lever 47 about the deflection axis U, but is positively guided on a circular arc path.
  • Overall, the mounting portion 59 of the motor 41, the deflection axis U of a respective deflection lever 47 and the pivot axis S of the pivot fitting 21, the fixed points for the positively driven transmission of the adjustment of the motor 41 via the articulated lever assembly 45 on the headrest 15th
  • In contrast to the embodiment of the Fig. 3 and 4 , in which a single lever 47 is provided, comprises the toggle assembly 45 of the embodiment according to the Fig. 1 and 2 two identical trained and oriented lever 47, whose output portions 55 are articulated at a distance from each other on the drive lever 49, which corresponds to the distance of the respective deflection axes U. In this way, form the two lever 47 with the drive lever 49, a four-bar linkage through which the drive lever 49 is forcibly guided so that it only changes its position, but not its orientation in space. In this case, in each position of the articulated lever arrangement 45, the two deflection levers 47 are aligned substantially identically to one another.
  • Furthermore, in the embodiment of the Fig. 1 and 2 in the Ausklappstellung the headrest 15, the output portions 55 and the respective deflection axis U of the two lever 47 is arranged substantially straight on a line, whereby the headrest 15 is particularly well stabilized in this position. This contributes in particular to the fact that the drive lever 49 extends obliquely from the headrest 15 in the direction of the backrest 13 and, after a slight bend, runs essentially along the said line.
  • The embodiment according to Fig. 3 and 4 on the other hand has only one lever 47. A stabilization of Ausklappstellung the headrest 15 is here also achieved in that the articulated lever assembly is formed in the manner of a toggle lever and the Ausklappstellung is achieved by overcoming a dead center. Furthermore, it is advantageous for the stabilization that in the Ausklappstellung the attachment portion 59 and the output element 43 of the motor 41, the input portion 53 and the output portion 55 of the Umlenkhebels 47 and the drive lever 49 are arranged with its two ends substantially in line. Further, the toggle assembly 45 may have a Selbstblockadefunktion, so that pivoting the Head restraint 15 is blocked beyond a certain point, as for the in Fig. 4 Ausklappstellung shown is the case.
  • In the embodiment according to Fig. 3 and 4 in that the backrest 13, the headrest 15 and the pivot fitting 21 are surrounded by a common cover 33, 35, the motor fitting 39 is visible from the outside in any of the positions of the headrest 15, since it is disposed completely within the cover 33, 35 , For this purpose, in particular the drive lever 49 and at least one leg extending between the deflection axis U and the output section 55 of the deflection lever 47 are correspondingly suitably bent. Preferably, the motor fitting 39 is not recognizable to the outside by the cover 33, 35, insofar as it has at least substantially no influence on the surface profile of the cover 33, 35. In this way, the design of the embodiment according to Fig. 3 and 4 not impaired by the provision of the motor fitting 39 for comfortable motorized adjustment of the headrest 15.
  • Although in the embodiment according to Fig. 1 and 2 the backrest 13 and the headrest 15 are formed separately with separate upholstery 19, 31, however, allows the closely guided to the headrest 15 course of the drive lever 49 also in this embodiment, at least substantially not visible from the outside arrangement of the drive lever 49. For this purpose, the drive lever 49 completely or at least partially in the projecting from the backrest 13 area of the cover 35 of the headrest 15 or an additional cover or a suitable cover to be covered. Thus, only the pivot fitting 21 extends partially, namely with the formed as angled chrome rods connecting portion 23, visible outside the headrest 15 and the backrest 13. Thus, in this embodiment, the design of the sitting / lying furniture 11 by the motor fitting 39 in comparison to the appearance of a corresponding sitting / lying furniture without engine fitting is not affected.
  • In particular, the engine fitting 39 is suitable both in the embodiment according to Fig. 1 and 2 as well as in the embodiment according to Fig. 3 and 4 for optional or subsequent installation in a corresponding sitting / lying furniture 11, the headrest 15 is initially not motorized adjustable. With the exception of a possibly necessary provision of a suitable drive point 57 on the headrest 15 and a mounting plate 51 in the hollow body 17 of the backrest 13 are thus advantageously no modifications, especially no externally disturbing perceptible modifications of an existing sitting / lying furniture 11 in preparation for the installation of a Engine fitting 39 required.
