Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of the necessities of life and in particular to sleeping equipment and bedding elements.
- the invention more particularly relates that not exclusively a mattress divided into portions in the direction of its great length to define rest areas diversified and adapted to the morphology and needs of a user.
- the invention more specifically relates to a mattress for children and adults ensuring maintenance of the user when using the mattress, said maintenance can be adapted to the morphology and / or the wish of the sleeper.
- the bedding elements that are traditional mattresses are made according to two very different techniques. There are thus mattresses with an internal metal carcass more generally called “spring mattress” and mattresses comprising one or more foam blocks called “elastic mattresses”.
- zippers or hooks can compromise the flatness of the mattress.
- the presence of raised portions of the zippers or hooks can be uncomfortable or uncomfortable for a user.
- the document FR 2,730,914 discloses a mattress formed of a plurality of blocks made of elastomeric foam each having side edges and horizontal main surfaces.
- the side edges of the different blocks have complementary cut-out shapes allowing the blocks to be inserted into one another.
- the various assembled blocks are found not to form a flat mattress so that a user may find themselves bothered by the irregularity of the surface of the assembly.
- the document EP 1 329 177 thus presents a mattress comprising a non-deformable structure which comprises one or two receptacles.
- the two receptacles are then intended to each receive a sub-mattress synthetic material, the sub-mattress can be adapted to the needs of a user.
- the structure receiving the sub-mattress itself is relatively bulky and heavy.
- An object of the invention is to provide a bedding element at least partially obviating the aforementioned problems.
- rest zone is meant here the main face on which the user lies, taking into account the direction of use of the bedding element. There are two rest zones per main face, ie a total of four rest zones.
- reception profile here means the following mechanical characteristics of the successive reception areas that constitute each rest area. We can also speak of density of reception of the rest area.
- each user can choose the rest zone that best suits their morphology or their needs.
- the same bedding element according to the invention provides rest and relaxation for a large number of users.
- the distinct home profiles ensure that a user at least one of the rest areas can be adapted to its morphology which will ensure a feeling of relaxation that is the basis of a restful sleep.
- the reception area A1 receives the head
- the reception area A2 receives the shoulders
- the reception area A3 receives the lumbar vertebrae
- the reception area A4 receives the user's pool.
- Welcome areas A5 to A7 receive the rest of the user's body.
- the reception area A7 receives the head
- the reception area A6 receives the shoulders
- the reception area A5 receives the lumbar vertebrae
- the reception area A4 receives the user's pool.
- the home areas A3 to A1 receive the rest of the user's body.
- the mattress in four directions of use depending on the rest area that the user uses, so that we can say that the mattress is reversible on four sides.
- the four rest areas have distinct home profiles, a user can easily find a rest area adapted to its morphology and its needs.
- the two blocks forming each of the outer layers 3, 4 are for example assembled by gluing or adhesion.
- the intermediate material layer 5 has a non-uniform thickness.
- the layer of intermediate material 5 thus has prismatic projections 10 (only one of which is referenced to FIG. figure 1 ) who enter conformal indentations of the outer layers 3,4.
- the projections 10 are arranged so that the thickness of the layer of intermediate material 5 varies from one portion to the other of the mattress.
- the various blocks constituting the layers are preferably made of various materials which thus confer particular mechanical characteristics to the different reception areas for example in terms of elasticity, flexibility, firmness ...
- the blocks 6, 7, 8, 9 are made in elastomeric foams of distinct flexibility. These differences in mechanical characteristics, associated with the geometry of the layers of the mattress, produce the profiles of reception represented in the figure 2bis Here, in this case, profiles of flexibility, which are quite distinct from each other.
- the layer of intermediate material 5 is made of a much firmer material than the materials of the outer layers. In this way, a user will feel less hard the support provided by the intermediate layer 5 through damping provided by the outer layers.
- the blocks 6, 7 of the first outer layer 3 and the blocks 8, 9 of the second outer layer 4 are arranged in such a way that the junction zones between the constituent blocks The same layer is located substantially at the border between two reception areas, here at the border between reception areas A4, A5 and B3, B4, respectively.
- the junction is no longer located in the middle of a reception area which avoids the jump of the reception profile at the reception areas A4 and B4, visible at the figure 2bis , and improves the comfort of a user who then feels little or no junction area.
- the layer of intermediate material 15 has a uniform thickness and here consists of seven blocks, two consecutive blocks meeting at a junction zone which extends itself at the boundary between two consecutive reception areas.
- the seven blocks of the intermediate layer 15 are made of various materials which thus confer particular mechanical characteristics to the different reception areas, for example in terms of elasticity, flexibility, firmness ...
- the layer of material intermediate 15 consists of a pocket with the seven blocks, each block being formed by springs of different stiffness so that each block has a different stiffness.
- the first outer layer 103 is a single block.
- the second outer layer 104 is also self-contained.
- the layer of intermediate material 105 consists of a first block 111 and a second block 112, the two blocks being of symmetrical shape.
- the two blocks are shaped so that when they are assembled, the fourth section of the first block 111 overlaps the fourth section of the second block 112.
- the two blocks are for example assembled by gluing or adhesion.
- the first outer layer 103 is here made of shape memory foam having a resilience R1
- the second outer layer 104 is here in memory foam having a resilience R2
- the first block 111 is formed of stiffness springs k1
- the second block 112 is formed of stiffness springs k2.
- each block 111 and 112 comprises springs of different height depending on the reception zone in which the springs extend.
- the four rest zones thus have distinct home profiles.
- the blocks of the layer of intermediate material 105 have corrugated faces while the facing faces of the outer layers are planar. Spaces are thus created between the intermediate layer 105 and the outer layers 103, 104 when the mattress is formed. These spaces are in the form of ducts extending over the entire width of the mattress and allow a better ventilation thereof.
- the outer faces of the outer layers 103, 104 forming the first main face and the second main face are also corrugated. These ripples also allow better ventilation of the mattress. In addition, they allow to massage the user when it changes position, especially if the mattress is used with an electric bed.
- the mattress according to the invention thus offers four different rest zones and therefore four different comforts.
- the first outer layer 203 is a single block.
- the second outer layer 204 is also self-contained.
- the layer of intermediate material 205 is also constituted of a single block 213.
- the first outer layer 203 and the second outer layer 204 are made of different materials.
- the block 213 of the intermediate layer 205 here comprises seven sections each extending under a different reception area. At least two sections of the intermediate layer 205 have distinct thicknesses so that at least one of the sections of the block 213 extending below the reception area A1 or A2 or A3 has a thickness distinct from one of the sections of the block 213 extending under the reception area A5, A6 or A7. In this way, the block 213 will have an asymmetrical profile depending on whether one considers the succession A1 to A7 or the succession A7 to A1. In the same way, the block 213 will have an asymmetrical profile depending on whether one considers the succession B1 to B7 or the succession B7 to B1.
- the block 213 of the intermediate material layer 205 comprises shaped projections prismatic 210 (only one of which is referenced figure 5 ) which cooperate with corresponding indentations of the outer layers 203 and 204.
- the two outer layers 203 and 204 are composed of elements having distinct mechanical properties, and the intermediate layer 205 having an asymmetrical profile between the zones A1 to A3 and the zones A5 to A7, the four rest zones thus have profiles of 'separate home.
- the mattress according to the invention thus offers four different rest zones and therefore four different comforts.
- the dimensions of the mattress may be different from those quoted by varying in large proportions.
- the width of the mattress may vary between 70 and 200 centimeters.
- the thickness of the mattress will vary between 15 and 35 centimeters.
- each reception area has a length of about 30 centimeters.
- the mattress can also be custom made when a user has a particular morphology by adapting the materials and / or dimensions to allow a different thrust distribution depending on the morphological or pathological problems of the user.
- a large mattress such as 160 centimeters in width
- the two mattresses thus connected are arranged in a fabric cover.
- the assembled mattress will thus comprise a greater number of resting areas than a mattress of the invention alone.
- the outer and intermediate layers may be made of flexible foam, compact foam, high-density polyurethane foam, memory foam, latex or include one or more pockets receiving metal springs, plastic springs, foam springs, or include one or pockets receiving water, air, one or pockets with slats ... If we use springs, we can also play on a diameter of the springs or on a height of said springs to form reception areas with distinct mechanical characteristics.
- each reception zone conferred by the mechanical characteristics of the materials used and the geometry of the different layers, may concern several aspects, such as resilience, flexibility, deformation time under load ...
- the four rest areas have distinct home profiles, a user can easily find a rest area adapted to his morphology and his needs.
- the two blocks forming each of the outer layers 303, 304 are for example assembled by gluing or adhesion.
- junction zone of two blocks forming at least a portion of an outer layer and / or the intermediate layer may be formed in the middle of a reception area.
- a junction zone will be made at the border of two consecutive reception areas to improve the comfort of a user.
- two consecutive blocks will not form a junction zone perpendicular to the major major faces but will be cut so as to form a junction zone inclined relative to a perpendicular to the major major faces (as illustrated in FIG. figure 3 ). The user will feel less in this way the junction area which will once again improve the comfort of the patient.
- the junction zone formed by the two blocks of the first outer layer may extend in the same plane as the junction zone formed by the two blocks of the second outer layer.
- the junction zone formed by the two blocks of the first outer layer will extend in a different plane than the junction zone formed by the two blocks of the second outer layer (as illustrated in FIG. figure 3bis ).
- the two junction zones will be shifted which will make the mattress as a whole more solid.
- the bedding element described is a mattress
- the bedding element may be different.
- the bedding element can be a mattress or a mattress.
- the mattress may be of a sufficiently thin thickness to be used as an over-mattress.
- the over-mattress will have a thickness of between 8 and 15 centimeters.
- the mattress may be formed of a sufficiently large thickness and made of materials sufficiently firm to be used as a bed base, a traditional mattress or a mattress according to the invention then covering said bed base.

Description
The invention relates to the field of the necessities of life and in particular to sleeping equipment and bedding elements. The invention more particularly relates that not exclusively a mattress divided into portions in the direction of its great length to define rest areas diversified and adapted to the morphology and needs of a user.
The invention more specifically relates to a mattress for children and adults ensuring maintenance of the user when using the mattress, said maintenance can be adapted to the morphology and / or the wish of the sleeper.
The bedding elements that are traditional mattresses are made according to two very different techniques. There are thus mattresses with an internal metal carcass more generally called "spring mattress" and mattresses comprising one or more foam blocks called "elastic mattresses".
However, because of the dimensions of such traditional mattresses, said mattresses are often heavy and difficult to transport. In addition, the storage of such mattresses is extremely expensive because to meet the needs of a customer, a seller must be able to have at his disposal a set of mattress models size and different characteristics.
But zippers or hooks can compromise the flatness of the mattress. In addition, the presence of raised portions of the zippers or hooks can be uncomfortable or uncomfortable for a user.
In the same way, the various assembled blocks are found not to form a flat mattress so that a user may find themselves bothered by the irregularity of the surface of the assembly.
In addition, it is necessary to achieve an assembly of a large number of blocks to obtain a respectable sized mat on which can stretch a user.
However, the structure receiving the sub-mattress itself is relatively bulky and heavy.
An object of the invention is to provide a bedding element at least partially obviating the aforementioned problems.
In order to achieve this goal, there is provided a bedding element as claimed in claim 1.
By rest zone is meant here the main face on which the user lies, taking into account the direction of use of the bedding element. There are two rest zones per main face, ie a total of four rest zones.
By reception profile, here means the following mechanical characteristics of the successive reception areas that constitute each rest area. We can also speak of density of reception of the rest area.
Thus, the same bedding element according to the invention allows to offer four rest areas with separate home profiles. We can use this bedding element in four different ways. It can be said that such a bedding element is bookable on "four sides".
Each user can choose the rest zone that best suits their morphology or their needs. As a result, the same bedding element according to the invention provides rest and relaxation for a large number of users. The distinct home profiles ensure that a user at least one of the rest areas can be adapted to its morphology which will ensure a feeling of relaxation that is the basis of a restful sleep.

- au niveau de la première grande face principale 1, des zones d'accueil successives A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 dont une succession A1 à A7 définit une première zone de repos et dont une succession inverse A7 à A1 définit une deuxième zone de repos ;
- at the level of the first large main face 1, successive reception areas A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 whose succession A1 to A7 defines a first rest zone and whose inverse succession A7 to A1 defines a second rest area;
- at the level of the second large main face, successive reception areas B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7 (as more visible at the
figure 2 ) whose succession B1 ... B7 defines a third rest zone and whose inverse succession B7 ... B1 defines a fourth rest zone.
Thus, when the user uses the first rest area, the reception area A1 receives the head, the reception area A2 receives the shoulders, the reception area A3 receives the lumbar vertebrae and the reception area A4 receives the user's pool. Welcome areas A5 to A7 receive the rest of the user's body.
When the user uses the second rest zone, the reception area A7 receives the head, the reception area A6 receives the shoulders, the reception area A5 receives the lumbar vertebrae and the reception area A4 receives the user's pool. The home areas A3 to A1 receive the rest of the user's body.
Il en est de même bien sûr pour les zones de repos B1...B7 et B7...B1.It is the same of course for the rest zones B1 ... B7 and B7 ... B1.
It is thus possible to use the mattress in four directions of use depending on the rest area that the user uses, so that we can say that the mattress is reversible on four sides.
According to the invention, the four rest areas have distinct home profiles, a user can easily find a rest area adapted to its morphology and its needs.
- a first outer layer 3 extending to form the first large main face 1, the first outer layer 3 being constituted by a
first block 6 and asecond block 7 joining at a junction zone which extends in the middle of the A4 reception area intended to receive a user's pelvis - a second
outer layer 4 extending to form the second largemain face 2, the secondouter layer 4 being constituted by afirst block 8 and asecond block 9 joining at a junction zone which extends in the middle of the reception area B4 intended to receive the basin of a user. - and an
intermediate layer 5 disposed between the two outer layers, and formed here in a single block.
The two blocks forming each of the
In addition, the various blocks constituting the layers are preferably made of various materials which thus confer particular mechanical characteristics to the different reception areas for example in terms of elasticity, flexibility, firmness ...
Preferably, the layer of

The two blocks are shaped so that when they are assembled, the fourth section of the

According to a particular embodiment, the first
Since the two blocks of the intermediate layer and the two outer layers are composed of elements having distinct mechanical properties, the four rest zones thus have distinct home profiles.
Here, the blocks of the layer of

The mattress according to the invention thus offers four different rest zones and therefore four different comforts.
Naturally, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and alternative embodiments can be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the claims.
In particular, the dimensions of the mattress may be different from those quoted by varying in large proportions. For example, the width of the mattress may vary between 70 and 200 centimeters. Preferably, the thickness of the mattress will vary between 15 and 35 centimeters. Preferably, each reception area has a length of about 30 centimeters.
The mattress can also be custom made when a user has a particular morphology by adapting the materials and / or dimensions to allow a different thrust distribution depending on the morphological or pathological problems of the user.
Furthermore, for a large mattress such as 160 centimeters in width, it is possible to use a single mattress or alternatively to arrange two identical mattresses according to the invention and to connect them together by an adhesive tape such as a scratch material or a tape. elastic device or with a common cover covering the two mattresses, the cover being preferably elastic. The two mattresses thus connected are arranged in a fabric cover. In another embodiment, may have two different mattresses according to the invention and connect them in the same way by an adhesive tape as a scratch material. The assembled mattress will thus comprise a greater number of resting areas than a mattress of the invention alone.
It can thus achieve multiple combinations according to the habits or desires of the user.
The outer and intermediate layers may be made of flexible foam, compact foam, high-density polyurethane foam, memory foam, latex or include one or more pockets receiving metal springs, plastic springs, foam springs, or include one or pockets receiving water, air, one or pockets with slats ... If we use springs, we can also play on a diameter of the springs or on a height of said springs to form reception areas with distinct mechanical characteristics.
The mechanical characteristics of each reception zone, conferred by the mechanical characteristics of the materials used and the geometry of the different layers, may concern several aspects, such as resilience, flexibility, deformation time under load ...
In particular, it will be possible to use more than three layers, or to vary the number of layers along the length of the mattress.

These differences in mechanical characteristics produce four host profiles that are distinct from each other.
Finally, although in the illustrated examples, each rest area consists of a succession of seven reception areas, this number may of course be different. In particular, it will be possible to define only two reception areas on each of the main faces of the mattress. It will also be possible to create rest areas in which the reception profiles vary continuously from one reception area to another.
Although here the bedding element described is a mattress, the bedding element may be different. The bedding element can be a mattress or a mattress. For example, in the various embodiments and variants described, the mattress may be of a sufficiently thin thickness to be used as an over-mattress. Preferably, the over-mattress will have a thickness of between 8 and 15 centimeters. For example, in the various embodiments and variants described, the mattress may be formed of a sufficiently large thickness and made of materials sufficiently firm to be used as a bed base, a traditional mattress or a mattress according to the invention then covering said bed base.
