Description

The invention relates to an antenna arrangement and a method for operating such an antenna arrangement according to the features of the respective preambles of the independent claims.

Antenna arrangements for vehicles mounted on a surface of the vehicle are basically known. Very widely used in vehicles are roof antennas in which such a roof antenna has a bottom plate and a cover, wherein under the cover antenna elements for receiving and / or transmitting high-frequency signals of different service (such as telephone, television, navigation and the like) are arranged. This roof antenna is mounted on the roof (or optionally on another body part of the vehicle) by projecting downwardly from the bottom plate a threaded pin, the threaded pin being passed through an opening in the body part and then screwed from below a fastening nut on the threaded pin so that the roof antenna is permanently fixed in position. Subsequently, in a manner known per se, the wiring of the roof antenna with downstream electronic devices, for example, to reproduce the received signals. This arrangement and their installation are complex because they must always be performed by two people.

Stellvertretend für diesen Stand der Technik steht beispielsweise die DE 10 2005 044 610 A1 .To circumvent this problem, various antenna arrangements are already known, which are designed so that they can be placed from above on the roof, pre-fixed and then endfixed, for which only a single person is required. Representative of this state of the art is, for example, the DE 10 2005 044 610 A1 ,

Weiteren Stand der Technik bilden US2011/0267243A1 , US2011/0017899 A1 , US2008/0131199A1 und JP2009017329A .However, these embodiments of antenna arrangements have the disadvantage that they are complex in terms of their construction and the several successive assembly steps to be performed. Form further state of the art US2011 / 0267243A1 . US2011 / 0017899 A1 . US2008 / 0131199A1 and JP2009017329A ,

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide an antenna arrangement and a method for operating such an antenna arrangement, which is simple in terms of construction and easy to operate with respect to the assembly. It should ultimately be ensured that the assembly can be performed by only one person and after installation, the antenna assembly is properly and permanently mounted.

This object is solved by the features of the independent claims.

With regard to the structural design of the antenna arrangement is provided according to the invention, inter alia, that the fastening means are formed as an at least two approximately in V-shape aligned and extending from a counter-holder and fastened to the bottom plate expanding leg fastening claw. The two interconnected or connectable expansion legs are designed so that they can be performed on the one hand through an opening in the body part and on the other hand after performing a Vorverrastung (Pre-fixing) allow the antenna assembly. In this case, antenna arrangement means that structure which is to be arranged on or on the body part of the vehicle, in particular on its roof, and fixed in its position. The two expansion legs form in their connection region a kind of projection which allows the antenna arrangement to be prefixed to the body part in its position after the lower attachment area of the antenna arrangement has been passed through the opening in the body part. Subsequently, a further deformation of the two expansion legs to each other, so that the angle of the V-shape is reduced. This ensures that the bottom plate of the antenna assembly flat and durable on the surface of the body part comes to rest, since it is attracted by the deformation of the expansion limbs and an additional fastening means, for example a screw.

In a further development of the invention, it is provided that the two expansion legs form a pair of expansion legs and at least two expansion leg pairs are arranged starting from and on the counter-holder. Due to the presence of at least two spreader leg pairs, one spreader leg attached to the backstop and the other spreader leg attached to the bottom plate, at least two attachment points are formed in the apex of the V-shape of the spreader leg pair extending at the bottom of the body part (e.g. on the underside of the vehicle roof) for the purpose of prefixing and final fixation can support. If there are more than two expansion leg pairs, which are arranged opposite one another, they are preferably located symmetrically on a circle at the same distance (partial circle sections) from one another.

In a further development of the invention, it is provided that the one end of a spreader leg has a fastening region, whereby the fastening claw is connected to the bottom plate. In this attachment region, one end of a spreader limb is rigidly and permanently connected to the bottom plate, for example. This means that bottom plate and spreader legs are separate from each other, which are rigidly connected to each other by a suitable fastening operation (for example, gluing, soldering, welding, screwing, riveting or the like). Alternatively, it is conceivable that the one expansion leg is not rigidly connected via its fastening region, but is movable (flexibly) connected to the base plate. Preferably, however, a rigid connection of the fastening claw, more precisely their ends whose spreader claws, provided on the bottom plate, so that when deforming the fastening claw by the counter-holder forces exerted on the fastening claw forces can be supported on the bottom plate to set the antenna assembly permanently to the body part can.

In a further development of the invention, the fastening claw is formed in one piece or in several parts. This means that the counter-holder and the two expansion legs are separate from each other, which are manufactured individually and then brought together. In such a case, for example, the two expansion limbs are parts which are produced in a stamping bending process. The counter-holder, for example, a rotating part, since it can have a round cross-section with internal thread. Alternatively, the two expansion limbs may also be formed as a one-piece component, for example also produced in a stamping bending process. As a rule, the expansion legs (regardless of whether they are one-piece or multi-part) and the counter-holder be separate from each other, since due to their shape and operation different production methods (On the one hand punching bending process and on the other hand turning process) are used.

With regard to the method for operating the antenna arrangement is provided according to the invention, inter alia, that the fastening claw is performed through an opening in a body part of a vehicle, whereby it comes through an investment of one end of the expansion limb on the underside of the body part to a prefixing, and then the Counter-holder is actuated, whereby the angle between the two expansion limbs is reduced and thereby the antenna assembly is permanently fixed to the body part and fixed in position.

This has the advantage that the antenna arrangement can be mounted in one step by a person with a simplified design of the fastening means. After the prefixing has taken place, the anvil may be suitably operated to permanently secure the antenna assembly to the body panel in place. This can preferably take place in that a fastening screw is screwed into the counter holder, wherein this screwing causes the angle between the two expansion limbs is reduced and the counter-holder is tightened in the direction of the bottom plate.

An embodiment for explaining the structure of the antenna arrangement according to the invention and the method for operating this antenna arrangement is described below with reference to FIGS FIGS. 1 to 3 described.

The FIG. 1 shows, as far as shown in detail, an antenna arrangement 1, which is designed in this embodiment as a roof antenna of a vehicle, but does not have to be. In the FIG. 1 shown antenna assembly 1 thus relates to any antenna assembly 1, which is manufactured as a separate system and arranged after its manufacture on a body part of a vehicle and permanently attached. In the exemplary embodiment, the antenna arrangement 1 comprises a cover 2 (for example made of plastic), under which antenna elements (not shown) for receiving and / or transmitting high-frequency signals for radio, television, telephone, navigation and the like are arranged. This antenna arrangement 1 is arranged on a body part 3, which has an opening 4. The body part 3 may, but need not be, a vehicle roof. The opening 4 in the body part is chosen with regard to their shape and opening area so that a fastening claw 5 of the antenna arrangement 1 according to the invention can be passed. The cross section is, for example, round or square and depends on the design of the fastening claw 5.

The fastening claw 5 comprises a counter-holder 6, from which a first expansion limb 7 originates, wherein the expansion limb 7 is adjoined by a further expansion limb 8 and these two expansion limbs 7, 8 are aligned approximately in V-shape relative to one another. This embodiment of the fastening claw 5 is in FIG. 1 , lower illustration, shown. After the production of such a fastening claw 5, this is attached to a bottom plate 9 of the antenna assembly 1. For this purpose, the expansion limb 8 has at its one end a fastening region 10. This attachment region 10 is angled in the specific embodiment and has an opening, so that for example by means of a screw or a rivet this end attachment region 10 can be fixed to the bottom plate 9. In the embodiment shown in the figures, the bottom plate 9 of the antenna assembly 1 is designed so that it also protrudes through the opening 4 of the body part 3 down through. Alternatively, however, can Also, the bottom plate 9 of the antenna assembly 1 be designed so that it is flush with the surface of the body part 3 and thus does not protrude through the opening 4 passes. In this case, the attachment portion 10 of the expansion leg 8 is to be chosen so that it protrudes sufficiently into the region of the bottom plate 9 in order to be able to be fastened there in a suitable manner.

In FIG. 2 It is shown that the antenna assembly 1 is prepared and is to be inserted through the opening 4 in the body part 3. This means that part of the antenna arrangement 1 remains above the body part 3 and only the fastening means, more precisely the fastening claw 5, are moved through the opening 4 when the antenna arrangement 1 moves in the direction of the arrow (from top to bottom). This completed process, but still without further operation of the fastening claw 5, is in FIG. 1 (top illustration). This means that here the fastening claw 5 (and in this case also a part of the bottom plate 9) was performed through the opening 4 in the body part 3, whereby the area designed area of the bottom plate 9 and the lower peripheral edge of the cover 2 (optionally below The interposition of a seal) on the surface of the body part 3 has come to rest.

In FIG. 3 , lower illustration, the principal mode of operation of the fastening claw 5 is initially shown when the counter-holder 6 has been actuated. By the counter-holder 6, a fastening screw 11 is used, the upwardly facing end portion engages in a thread in the bottom plate 9. As a result, the other end region of the fastening screw 11 can be supported on or in the counter holder 6. By operating the fastening screw, on the one hand, the angle between the two expansion legs 7, 8 (relative to the angle, the in FIG. 1 is shown reduced), which has the consequence that the transition region 12, in the the two expansion legs 7, 8 are connected to each other, moves outwards (arrow). As a result, this transition region 12 is pressed from below against the body part 3 and can be supported there in order to permanently fix the antenna arrangement 1 to the body part 3. As in FIG. 3 can be seen, is formed by the connection of the two expansion legs 7, 8 in the transition region 12 to each other a projecting shoulder which slides upon actuation of the fastening screw 11 on the underside of the body part 3 to the final positional fixation. This has the advantage that by this process tolerances (for example, component tolerances, tolerances in the thickness of the body part and the like) can be compensated. In addition, different thicknesses of body parts can be compensated. This also increases the flexibility of the antenna arrangement 1 according to the invention. In addition, this sharp-edged region B has the advantage that the underside of the body part 3 is freed from corrosion and / or coatings (for example paint) and an electrical contact is established. This electrical contact is required for the ground connection of the antenna assembly 1 in terms of their electrical functionality. In such a case, it goes without saying that the body part 3 and at least one end portion of the expansion leg 7 and this expansion leg 7 itself and the counter-holder 6 consist of an electrically conductive material.

In FIG. 3 , Top illustration, finally, the final position of the fastening claw 5 is shown when the mounting operation and the operation of the fastening screw 11 is completed. It can also be seen that the fastening claw 5 in its axial alignment (opposite FIG. 1 ), that is compressed. This reduces the height of the mounting claw 5 in its final assembled state in an advantageous manner.

The fastening claw 5 has a counter-holder 6, which here has a round cross section and which is suitable and designed to receive a fastening screw (will be explained in more detail). Starting from the counter-holder 6, a first expansion leg 7 extends, wherein at the end of the spreader leg 7 remote from the counter-holder 6, a further expansion leg 8 is arranged. In the in FIG. 1 shown embodiment, in each case a spreader leg 7 and 8 form a Spreizschenkelpaar, so here right and left of the longitudinal axis of the fastening claw 5 two Spreizschenkelpaare are present. It may, but does not have, as in FIG. 1 is shown, more than two Spreizschenkelpaare be present. At the in FIG. 1 shown embodiment, a total of four Spreizschenkelpaare, starting from the anvil 6, available. The four expansion leg pairs are symmetrical to each other, that is, in each case opposite, arranged, but also more than four Spreizschenkelpaare, but also only three Spreizschenkelpaare can be used. The presence of four oppositely arranged Spreizschenkelpaaren is advantageous if the opening 4 is square. However, if the opening 4 is round, it is advisable to use only two or three expansion leg pairs. In the region A, in which the expansion legs 7, 8 are connected to each other, it can be seen that in this case the two expansion legs 7, 8 are integrally formed and the expansion leg 7 has a flat longitudinal extent, as well as the expansion leg 8. In addition the expansion leg 7 a or (as in FIG. 1 shown) two angled wings, which form in the area A a projecting tip. The effective size of the tip increases upon actuation of the fastening claw 5, so that in the area B in FIG. 3 is recognizable. This ensures in an advantageous manner that the end region of the expansion limb 7, more precisely its two projecting wings, is effective on the underside of the body part 3 can support when the fastening screw 11 was finally screwed into the anvil 6 and the bottom plate 9. The two protruding from the expansion limb 7 wings are designated 13.
