Abstract

The invention relates to a folding box (15) and a closing element that can be used to ensure said folding box remains closed when in a closed state. The closing element, in the form of a plastic component, is pressed through two parts (10, 11, 12) of the folding box which lie one over the other when the folding box is in its closed state. These two parts must be pushed against each other in order to open the folding box. This is prevented by the closing element. To be able to open the folding box nonetheless, one of the two parts must be detached from the folding box. The part which is to be detached from the folding box is designed with a perforation (29) in such a manner that it may be detached from the folding box.

Description

Beschreibung  description
Faltschachtel und Verschlusselement hierzu  Folding box and closure element for this purpose
The invention is concerned with the closure of articles filled cartons.
Folding boxes are filled with the objects and then closed. There are cartons that have a hinged front wall. Such cartons are also used to present or stock the items. This is made possible by the hinged front wall. On the other hand, the hinged front wall also serves to fill the items factory-loaded in the cartons. A known carton of this type consists of a shell and a slot arranged therein, wherein the hinged front wall is arranged on the insert. Lateral tabs ensure that when folded front wall and the side objects can not slip out (EP 798218).
It must be ensured that the cartons do not open during transport. Adhesive tapes are known for this purpose. Adhesive tapes, however, have the disadvantage that they adhere to the cardboard from which the folding boxes are made and leave marks on opening.
The invention is based on the object to provide a way to safely close cartons. To solve this problem, the invention proposes a closure element for cartons with the features of claim 1.
The invention also proposes a folding box which is suitable for a derar - - tiger closure element is suitable, and a combination of carton and closure element before.
Furthermore, the invention proposes a method for closing folding boxes.
The closure element is a preferably made of plastic part, which is easy to produce and easy to handle. It can be pressed in a closed carton by two superimposed parts of the carton so that these two parts of the carton remain fixed by the shaft immovable. The extraction of the closure element is prevented by the fins. The consumer who receives the filled cartons can therefore see that it is a box properly filled in the factory, which has not been tampered with in the meantime.
In order to prevent the removal of the closure element with certainty, it can be provided according to the invention that the fins each have a rear side facing the underside of the head and running parallel to the latter.
The head of the closure element is advantageously made much larger than corresponds to the diameter of the shaft, as of course also a pushing of the closure element must be prevented by the carton of the carton. The plastic from which the closure element is made, can be colored, so that the closure element itself can also serve as a label element. In addition, other labeling can also be made by imprinted symbols, numbers or numbers.
The number of fins, their size and shape may vary depending on the application. It is also possible through a larger number of - -
Fins to form a closure element that can be used for different sizes of cartons.
The cross-sectional shape of the shaft may be round or square or have any shape. An angular cross-section is particularly advantageous if a symbol present on the upper side of the head is to appear in a specific orientation relative to the folding box. For example, in the case of a quadrangular cross-section, it may be provided that the fins are arranged at the same height on the sides facing away from each other, while they are attached to gaps on adjacent sides. The carton proposed by the invention includes an outer shell and a hinged front wall having a tab in the region of its free edge, which engages under the shell in the closed state of the carton. The area of the shell, which is then above the flap of the front wall, is limited by a perforation. With the help of a closure element, the carton can then be closed. This closure element is inserted through the superimposed parts, namely the perforated portion of the shell and the tabs of the front wall. Thus, the front wall is closed in the closed state of the carton.
The perforation of the demarcated area of the shell should allow the box to be opened for the first time by separating this area from the shell. The closure element thus remains stuck in the superposed parts of the carton.
In order to use a closure element which itself is not sufficiently sharp or sharp to pierce the carton of the carton, according to the invention, the envelope can be inside the perforated - tion surrounded area have a notch, for example, a slot or two intersecting slots that allow the penetration of a blunt closure element. It makes sense that such a notch can also be present in the tab on the front wall, wherein preferably the indentations are present at least approximately at the same place when the front wall is folded in. It was mentioned in the beginning that folding boxes are known with a shell and a slot housed in the shell. The invention also proposes such a carton with a shell and a drawer, wherein the front wall is then hinged with its tab on the insert, in particular as a one-piece part of a Zu- section, from which the insert is made.
However, the invention can also find application in a carton, in which the front wall is hinged to the shell, in particular as a one-piece part of a blank for the production of the shell.
In a carton with sheath and slot can be inventively provided that the tab of the front wall between the shell and the drawer is inserted. It is possible that the insert is also used for locking by the closure element. He could then similar to the envelope have a demarcated by a perforated area, which is released with the first opening the closed carton with. In this case, this area could also have a notch to facilitate the penetration of the closure element.
According to the invention, however, it can also be provided that the insert in the area where the closure element is used, - - Has an open towards the front edge incision, so that when opening the closure element passes through this incision to the outside. The invention also proposes a combination of a carton as described herein and a closure element. This closure element is only used in the carton when the carton is filled. To open it is pressed onto the head of the closure element. This pressure causes the perforated portion of the sleeve to detach from the sleeve due to the perforation. He lets himself push into the box. This is not prevented by the tab of the front wall, since the tab is in turn articulated and can escape. Subsequently, the front wall can even be opened by engaging the closure element. The closure element remains attached to the tab. The formerly perforated portion of the sleeve remains under the head of the fastener element on the tab. The attachment of the closure element or securing the carton against unintentional opening or against manipulation is done in such a way that initially the carton is produced and then filled with the objects. Subsequently, the front wall is folded and pushed the tab on the free edge of the front wall under the shell. If it is a front wall hinged to a drawer, the tab is slid between the sheath and the drawer. Subsequently, the pressing of the closure element takes place through the shell and the tab. This can be done in an automated process.

Since the closure element has a long life and is used throughout the life of the carton, a raised mark has the advantage that it remains visible even after prolonged use. - -
From the four sides of the shaft 1 extend radially fins 5, which have one of the bottom 3 of the head 2 facing back 6. This rear side 6 runs parallel to the underside 3 of the head 2.
At the end of the shaft 1 facing away from the head, a rounded tip 7 is formed. The closure element is designed as a one-piece plastic component. The operation of such a closure element can be seen in Figure 2, which illustrates a closure element which engages through three layers of cardboard. In the three layers 10, 1 1, 12, an opening 13 is formed in each case, which is larger in the illustrated sectional plane than the diameter of the shaft 1, but smaller than the outer distance of the fins fifth
The relatively stiff fins 5 prevent the withdrawal of the closure element. The closure element can not be pushed through the three layers of cardboard, because this is the head size is too large.
The operation of the closure element is due to the fact that a displacement of the two upper layers 10, 1 1 with the all-round opening 13 against each other only to a very limited extent possible, namely only as far as the opening 13 is greater than the shaft. 1
Am vorderen Ende erfolgt ein - - FIG. 3 shows a possibility of how fastening elements of the type shown in FIG. 1 can be attached to the folding boxes 15. The folding box 15 is arranged in a defined position. It is of course a filled carton. The closure elements are stored in a band 16 and are moved forward via a feed device 17. At the front end is a - -
Pushing the respective closure element into a region of the upper side of the folding carton 15.
The result of pushing a closure element into a folding shaft! 15 is shown in FIG. Here, on an enlarged scale, the front region of a folding box 15 is shown, which is closed by means of a closure element. Of the closure element, only the top of the head 2 with the mark 4 can be seen.
The illustrated carton 15 includes an outer shell 18, which consists of a top 19, two side walls 20 and an undetectable bottom. In the top 19 a window 21 is arranged, which can be completed with a transparent material. In the shell 18, a slot 22 is arranged, which can not be seen in Figure 4, but which can be seen in Figure 5. At the lower front edge of the insert 22, a front wall 23 is articulated, which can therefore be opened about the lower front edge 24. At the then free upper edge 25 of the front wall 23, a tab 26 is hinged, which extends only over the central region of the upper edge 25 of the front wall 23. This tab 26 is barely visible in FIG. The tab 26 engages in the closed state of the carton 15 in the area between the top of the drawer 22 and the shell 18 a.
The front region of the upper side 19 of the casing 18 has a region 27 which is delimited on the one hand by the front edge 28 of the casing and on the other hand by a perforation 29. The perforation 29 extends approximately like the three sides of a rectangle around this area. Through the perforation 29, this area can be pushed out of the shell 18.
A user who prefetches the carton in the state of FIG - - Has, a pressure on the head 2 of the closure element, so he expresses so that the delimited by the perforation 29 area down out until it is released from the shell 18. Then he can open the front wall. This condition is shown in FIG. It can be seen here that the region 27 surrounding the former perforation 29 remains attached to the tab 26 because of the closure element. In the top 19 of the shell 18 remains this area 27 corresponding opening. It can also be seen that the size of the area 27 surrounded by the perforation 29 corresponds approximately to the size of the tab 26. In the top of the insert 22, a similar region 30 is formed, in which a recess 31 is recessed. This recess 31 is open to the free edge of the insert.
In the opened state, the insert 22 can then also be pulled out of the shell 18, see FIG. 6. It can also be seen that the region 30 of the insert 22 is itself surrounded by a perforation, so that when the closure element is pressed in this region 30 also deformed slightly downwards. The open notch 31 allows the closure member to be moved forwardly away without the need to tear off that portion 30.
Figure 7 shows one way in which a carton may look to facilitate the insertion of a closure element. In the middle of the area 27 of the shell 18 delimited by the perforation 29 there is a notch 33, which has the shape of two crossed slots. In the tab 26 located thereunder, a similar notch is provided, for example in the form of two crossed slots.
