Claims (10)

  1. Heat dissipation cage (10) intended to be installed through an insulating panel (48) to receive a lamp, said insulating panel comprising a wall (50) having an outer face (52) opposite to an inner face (54) and an orifice (58) opening in both faces to receive said lamp, said cage comprising a base (12) and a plurality of flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) extending facing one another from said base (12), the flexible axial legs each having a free abutment end (26), said heat dissipation cage (10) being suitable for installation on said inner face (54) so that the abutment ends (26) of said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) come into abutment around said orifice (58) of said wall, while said base (12) extends facing said orifice so as to provide a housing (24) facing said orifice;
    characterised in that it also has branches (68, 70, 72, 74) pivotably mounted on said base (12), and in that said branches can move between an axial position in which said branches (68, 70, 72, 74) are moved towards one another opposite said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) and a radial position in which said branches (68, 70, 72, 74) are deployed around said base (12).

Heat dissipation cage as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that said base (12) has a first connection piece (66) and a second connection piece (63, 64) intended to be connected to said first connection piece (66), said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) being fixedly attached to said second connection piece (63, 64), while said branches (68, 70, 72, 74) are fixedly attached to said first connection piece (66).
  5. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that said connection pieces (63, 75, 66) are intended to be connected together by fitting one inside the other.
  6. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in claim 5, characterised in that said first connection piece (66) has a protruding cylindrical part (86), while said second connection piece (63, 64) has a cylindrical aperture (64) opening opposite said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20), and in that said cylindrical part (86) is intended to come to fit inside said cylindrical aperture (64).
  7. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it has a second flexible link (22) to connect said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) to one another so as to be able to prevent said flexible axial legs from moving apart from one another, said second flexible link (22) being suitable for flexing when said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) are moved towards one another.
  8. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in claim 7, characterised in that each of said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20) has an intermediate zone (28) located between said base (12) and said free abutment end (26), and in that said second flexible link (22) is anchored in the intermediate zones (28) of said flexible axial legs.
  9. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in claim 7 or 8, characterised in that said flexible link (22) extends in an arc between said flexible axial legs (14, 16, 18, 20).
  10. Heat dissipation cage as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that said free abutment end (26) has fins (32) and abutment lugs (38) axially spaced from said fins, said fins (32) being suitable for coming into abutment against said inner face (54) around said orifice (58), while said abutment lugs (38) come into abutment against said outer face (52).
