Beim Verschwenken des Abtastelementes 11 nach unten bewegt sich jeder Stift 14 im konzentrischen Abschnitt des Schlitzes 15, sodass die gekoppelten Sperrmittel 7, 8, die die Rollenträger 3 und 4 unterfangen, nicht bewegt werden. Aus Fig. 4 ist ersichtlich, dass das Abtastelement 11 nach Aufbrauch der Spenderolle 10 nach unten bzw. hinten durchschwenkt, und der Stift 14 in den exzentrischen Abschnitten des Schlitzes 15 eingetreten ist. Über diesen Abschnitt werden, da der Stift 14 seinen Abstand zur Achse 19 ja nicht ändern kann, die Sperrmittel 7, 8 von der Achse 19 weiter wegbewegt, und die Enden schwenken aus den Führungsbahnen 2, sodass beide Rollenträger 3, 4 ihrer Auflage beraubt sind und nach unten fallen. Der leere Rollenträger 4 gleitet in einen Aufnahmeraum nach unten, wo er dann entnommen werden kann. Der volle Rollenträger 3, also die Reserverolle 20, fällt in den Führungsbahnen 2 nach unten, wobei aber die Enden der ersten Hebelarme 12 im Wege sind (Fig. 4, 5). Der Rollenträger 3 trifft auf die Hebelarme 12 und verschwenkt diese um die Achse 19 nach unten. Die Stifte gleiten im exzentrischen Abschnitt des Schlitzes 15 wieder zurück und die Sperrmittel 7, 8 schwenken wieder in die Führungsbahn 2 ein. Die Stifte 14 treten dabei in den konzentrischen ersten Abschnitt der Schlitze 15 ein, sodass sie bei der Weiterverschwenkung des Abtastelementes 11 in die maximal ausgeschwenkte Position (Fig. 6) und der nachfolgenden Rückkehr in die Position nach Fig. 7 die Sperrmittel 7, 8 nicht mehr bewegen. Wie Fig. 6 zeigt, ist bei maximaler Verschwenkung der Hebelarme 12 das Abtastelement 11 weit genug ausgeschwenkt, dass die Reserverolle 20 passieren kann. Anschließend kehrt das Abtastelement 11 zurück, da die Hebelarme 12 wieder frei sind.
