- Roller shutter with a plurality of parallel and mutually adjacent hingedly connected roller shutter rods (1), wherein each roller shutter rod (1) is provided with corresponding hook/hook connections, wherein each roller shutter rod (1) comprises on one longitudinal side a receiving hook (3) and on the other longitudinal side a connecting hook (4) and wherein each roller shutter rod (1) consists of a single-walled, thin metal sheet,
characterised in that
each roller shutter rod (1) comprises a curved cross section and in that the combination of single-walled, thin roller shutter rods (1) is connected on one side over the entire surface and almost without play by means of a continuous web made of a flexible material. - Roller shutter according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material is glued to the surface of the roller shutter rod (1). - Roller shutter according to claim 1 or 2,
characterised in that
the roller shutter rods (1) are manufactured from aluminium. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material is arranged on the inside of the roller shutter. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material consists of a textile material. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material consists of a plastic foil. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material consists of a metal foil. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 7,
characterised in that
the web (2) made of flexible material has a multi-layer configuration. - Roller shutter according to claim 8,

a thermally-insulating layer (5) is laminated on the web (2) made of flexible material. - Roller shutter according to any one of claims 1 to 9,
for use with a winding shaft (7) with a round diameter.
