Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Umwandlung von thermischer in mechanische Energie mittels eines Rankine-Kreislaufs beschrieben, wobei
- das in dem Rankine-Kreislauf zirkulierende Arbeitsmittel vor dem Wärmetausch mit einem externen Medium auf einen Druck oberhalb seines kritischen Drucks gepumpt,
- im Wärmetausch mit dem externen Medium auf eine Temperatur oberhalb seiner kritischen Temperatur angewärmt wird, wobei die Temperatur wenigstens so hoch ist, dass das Arbeitsmittel ohne teilzukondensieren entspannt werden kann,
- das Arbeitsmittel entspannt und das entspannte Arbeitsmittel kondensiert wird.
Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt die Regelung des maximalen Drucks des Arbeitsmittels mittels eines bzgl. des Mengenstromes des Arbeitsmittels (5) regelbaren Expanders (X1) und/oder einer bzgl. des Mengenstromes des Arbeitsmittels (1) regelbaren Pumpe (P1).
