  5. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a hollow rod or tube is inserted prior to casting.
  6. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that spacers are placed between the profiled strip and the wall prior to casting and are withdrawn after casting.
  7. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that a profiled strip made from synthetic material is used.
  8. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that a profiled strip made from metal is used.
  9. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that castable cork flooring material is used.
  10. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that castable synthetic flooring material is used.
  11. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the skirting strip is produced prior to laying the floor covering.
  12. Method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the skirting strip is produced after laying the floor covering.
  13.
