Abstract

A household appliance case body (10) is provided, which includes side walls (2) and a top cover (4) fixedly mounted at the top of the side walls, and a support device (6) mounted at the top of a chamber (8) enclosed by the side walls and located beneath the top cover (4), in which a cushioning device (12) is disposed between the support device (6) and the top cover (4). The beneficial effect produced by adopting the technical solution is that: the cushioning device cushions an impact pressure applied on the top cover and meanwhile a beam can also bear a part of the impact force, so the resistance to pressure of the top cover is increased and the loss due to the breakage of the top cover is reduced.

Description

  • The present invention relates to a household appliance case body, particularly a drum washing machine case body, which belongs to the field of household appliance parts.
  • A household appliance like a drum washing machine includes a case body. The case body usually includes side walls and a top cover mounted at the top of the side walls. The periphery of the top cover is generally supported by the side walls and the middle portion almost has no support. During warehousing or transportation, the top cover may be broken under pressure.
  • An objective of the present invention is to increase the resistance to pressure of a household appliance top cover and reduce the probability that the top cover is broken under pressure.
  • For the above objective, the present invention adopts the technical solution as defined in the attached independent claim. Preferred embodiments of the invention are subject of dependent claims, the subsequent description and the attached drawing.
  • Accordingly, the technical solution by the present invention is as follows. A household appliance case body includes side walls and a top cover fixedly mounted at the top of the side walls, and a support device is mounted at the top of a chamber enclosed by the side walls and located beneath the top cover, in which a cushioning device is disposed between the support device and the top cover.
  • A beneficial effect by adopting the technical solution is that the cushioning device cushions an impact pressure applied on the top cover. In addition, the support device can also bear a part of the impact force, so the top cover's resistance to pressure is increased and the loss due to the breakage of the top cover reduced.
  • Preferably, the support device is a beam laterally disposed at the top of the side walls.
  • Preferably, the cushioning device is fixed on the beam and supports the top cover.
  • Preferably, the cushioning device is at least a rubber cushion.
  • Preferably, the cushioning device is approximately located beneath the center of the top cover, or is evenly disposed on the support device.
  • Preferably, the household appliance is a drum washing machine.

  • As shown in FIG. 1, a drum washing machine case body 10 includes side walls 2 and a top cover 4 fixedly mounted at the top of the side walls 2. A peripheral portion 41 of the top cover 4 is supported at the top 21 of the side walls 2. Beam 6 acting as a support device 6 is laterally disposed at the top of a chamber 8 enclosed by the side walls 2 and located beneath the top cover 4. Two end portions 61 and 62 of the beam 6 are respectively fixed at the top 21 of the side walls 2.
  • A rubber cushion 12 is fixed on the beam 6. The rubber cushion 12 is located between the beam 6 and the top cover 4 and supports the top cover 4. Preferably, the rubber cushion 12 is approximately located beneath the center of the top cover 4, so as to better exert a support function.
  • In the present invention, the rubber cushion 12 can also be replaced by other elastic devices, and the objective thereof is to cushion an impact pressure applied on the top cover 4 to protect the top cover 4. In addition, two or more of the rubber cushions 12 or other elastic cushioning devices can also be provided and are optimally distributed on the beam 6 evenly, so as to disperse the impact force.

Claims (6)

  1. A household appliance case body (10), comprising side walls (2), a top cover (4) fixedly mounted at the top of the side walls, and a support device (6) mounted at the top of a chamber (8) enclosed by the side walls (2) and located beneath the top cover (4), characterized in that a cushioning device (12) is disposed between the support device (6) and the top cover (4).
  2. The case body (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the support device is a beam (6) laterally disposed at the top of the side walls (2).
  3. The case body (10) according to claim 2, characterized in that the cushioning device (12) is fixed on the beam (6) and supports the top cover (4).
  4. The case body (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the cushioning device is at least a rubber cushion (12).
  5. The case body (10) according to any one of the above claims, characterized in that the cushioning device (12) is approximately located beneath the centre of the top cover (4), or is evenly disposed on the support device (6)).
  6. The case body (10) according to any one of the above claims, characterized in that the household appliance is a drum washing machine.
