Methanol (6 L) is added and the temperature is raised to 60-65 0 C and maintained for 1 hour. The mixture is cooled to room temperature, filtered, and the solid is washed with methanol (3 mL) and dried for 4 hours at 40-45 0 C under vacuum, to afford 170 g of purified title compound.
- Impurities 0.25% at 0.64 RRT; 0.11 % at 0.65 RRT; 0.06% at 1.048 RRT;
- Volatile impurities NMP content: 170 ppm by gas chromatography.
