Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shoe insert and a shoe, and more particularly to a shoe insert and a shoe which stabilize the foot during the cycle of wear and thereby increase the pedaling performance.
  • the foot is the most important point of contact with the bicycle when cycling. At the foot-to-shoe cleat pedals interface, physical performance is transformed into feed. During transmission of the force, torsions occur in all areas of the foot (upper, lower ankle, metatarsus and forefoot), whereby force is diverted in a horizontal plane and is no longer available for advancement via the pedals. Performance is lost.
  • the force produced by the propulsive muscles is transmitted to the talus via the tibia and calf bone.
  • the first major loss of strength takes place, as the ankle bends inwards (pronation) (cf. FIG. 1 b) .
  • Even with optimal conditions torsions occur because the pronation is a natural damping mechanism. However, when cycling this damping mechanism is not necessary because the shock load of the body weight is missing and damping is therefore not necessary.
  • shoe insert will be in the publication DE 10 2006 044 026 A1 described.
  • This shoe insert is distinguished by the fact that it is equipped with pads, the arrangement of which affects the foot muscles of a subject in such a way that during walking a position deviating from the normal foot posture of the feet is corrected by the sensorimotor, the body's own system.
  • the publication DE 111 74 44 A relates to a footwear with an orthopedic insole.
  • the orthopedic insole is combined with an X-shaped elastic spring.
  • a particular advantage of the shoe insert according to the invention is that the force is distributed evenly on the metatarsus, so that the pedal axle is uniformly loaded at least substantially over the entire width of the forefoot.
  • the shoe insert has a stiffening region, which runs with the foot lying essentially diagonally from the talus and the navicular to the lateral edge of the forefoot, in particular to the area of the metatarsal heads IV and / or V.
  • a preferred embodiment of the shoe insert according to the invention provides that the stiffening region is formed as a contiguous region.
  • the stiffening area serves as a strong metatarsal support.
  • the stiffening region may be rigid or substantially rigid, but advantageously it is not completely rigid, but has low flexibility.
  • the stiffening region with resting foot in the region of the talus and the navicular bone has a curvature directed against the sole of the foot.
  • the shoe insert causes an inclination of the foot in the region of the metatarsal heads in such a way that the lateral edge of the forefoot, in particular the metatarsal heads IV and / or V, are raised relative to the medial edge of the forefoot, in particular in relation to the metatarsophalangeal joint ,
  • the shoe insert has a raised area, which increases at foot lying on at least in the range from the midfoot head III to the midfoot head V.
  • the rise from the medial edge to the lateral edge of the forefoot preferably proceeds at least substantially linearly.
  • the shoe insert may be curved in the region of the metatarsal heads but also against the sole of the foot or against the sole of the shoe, as long as only the laterally located metatarsal heads, i. in particular the metatarsal heads IV and / or V, relative to the medially located metatarsal heads, in particular to the metatarsophalangeal joint raised.
  • the raising of the lateral edge of the forefoot can be achieved, for example, by wedge-shaped reinforcement of the shoe insert in this region.
  • the shoe insert is designed so that the rising portion is located with the foot lying under the metatarsal heads.
  • Particularly preferred is an embodiment in which the rising region extends in the center between the metatarsal head I and the metatarsal head V. That's the area under which ideally the pedal axle runs.
  • a preferred embodiment of the shoe insert provides that the rising region is constructed on the line of the pedal axle.
  • the rising area in a preferred embodiment (depending on the size of the shoe) has a width of about 10 mm.
  • the metatarsal head V is about 1.5 to 4 mm, preferably about 2 to 3.5 mm, higher than the metatarsal head I.
  • the shoe insert increases laterally in the region of the metatarsal heads by approximately 1.5 to 4 mm, preferably by approximately 2 to 3.5 mm.
  • Anterior and posterior, the rising region is preferably flat.
  • a further preferred embodiment provides that a flat preferably kidney-shaped pad is arranged on the shoe insert under the metatarsal heads II to IV. Furthermore, the shape of the shoe insert is exactly adapted to the insole format of the shoe.
  • shoe insert is designed as an insole.
  • the invention further relates to a shoe, in which the shoe insert according to the invention is integrated, the footbed is thus formed, for example, in the same way as the shoe insert according to the invention, i. that the footbed of the shoe has a stiffening region comprising at least a portion of the footbed substantially diagonal from the talus and os naviculare to the metatarsal head IV and / or V when the foot is on foot, the stiffening region being in the region of the talus and os Naviculare is arched against the sole of the foot and the footbed has a raised portion which increases at foot lying, at least in the range from the metatarsal head III to the metatarsal head V.
  • the shoe insert according to the invention provides a strong but nevertheless flexible metatarsus support which has the highest point in the area of the talus and the navicular. This prevents a medial screwing in of the foot. The entire metatarsal area is stabilized and a typical stress load during cycling, namely the main pressure distribution of the forces acting on the big toe joint, is reduced.
  • the shoe insert according to the invention distributes the force evenly over all areas of the metatarsus. Therefore, in the course of the pedal axis (the ideal position of the pedal and cleat position under the foot, the interface of a connecting line between metatarsal heads I and V is exactly in the middle of the forefoot) the foot is raised laterally. As a result, lateral breakage of the foot is prevented, for example, during a step on foot.
  • the shoe insert according to the invention is specially designed for cycling and therefore differs fundamentally from running inserts.
  • the different movement patterns and the resulting requirements are briefly explained in both cases:
  • the movement pattern when walking or running is divided into three phases:
  • the heel bone is set up in slight supination position of the foot on the outer edge.
  • Main support phase The whole foot is in contact with the ground.
  • the main support phase is associated with a physiological pronation movement.
  • Shock phase This develops a pressure maximum under the metatarsal heads II and III. The unrolling takes place via the big toe base joint. The repulsion phase is associated with torsion within the tarsal root, forefoot pronation and hindfoot suppination.
  • the pattern of movement during the cycle can also be divided into three phases:
  • Thrust phase (upper / lower dead center): The foot is moved forwards / backwards into the starting position of a propulsive position. For propulsion, this phase is insignificant.
  • the printing phase is the most important phase of power transmission with an approx. 70% share of propulsion. At about 90 ° to 130 ° of the pedal position, the maximum force is reached.
  • Pull phase The pull phase is involved with approx. 30% share in the forward drive. In the pulling phase, the pressure phase of the other leg is supported.
  • the special feature is also in the connection of the foot / shoe with the bike in the form of the pedal hooks, which are connected to the shoe to 2-3 cm in the forefoot.
  • the cycling shoe is actually more than an orthosis to consider, which fixes the foot (from the lower ankle).
  • the lateral edge of the forefoot is raised relative to the medial edge. It proves to be advantageous if the forefoot in the region of the metatarsal heads is raised steadily, preferably substantially linearly, from the metatarsal head I to the metatarsal head V. The raising of the forefoot can also be limited to the area of the metatarsal heads III to V.
  • the bike storage insert has the function of stabilizing the foot in the shoe and allowing as little movement as possible.
  • the movement of the body and the function of the shoe are different when walking / running and cycling, so that the functioning of the insoles also differ.
  • a cycling shoe insert is designed so that the foot has as much contact, i. essentially over the entire sole of the foot, with the insole has.
  • a cycling shoe insert is always formed langohlig to stabilize the foot as completely as possible.
  • a cycling shoe insert has a strong support on the navicular overhang and a slight increase on the outer edge of the foot.
  • the invention is not limited to wheel rests 100, but includes, for example, insoles or shoes with an integrated shoe insert, as long as they have only the features of the independent claims.
  • the stiffening region 120 acts as a strong but flexible metatarsal support, which has the highest and strongest point 130 in the region of the talus and the navicular and prevents the foot from rotating in the medial direction (cf. FIGS. 1 a and 1 b).
  • the lateral edge of the forefoot (metatarsal head III, IV, V) is raised by a wedge 140 in an exemplary embodiment. This counteracts the typical incorrect loading during pedaling, namely the main pressure distribution of the acting forces on the great toe joint due to the buckling of the ankle and the internal rotation of the entire leg axis.
  • the pedal axle 110 extends in the center between the metatarsal head I and the metatarsal head V (see FIG. FIG. 3 ).
  • the elevation of the lateral edge of the wedge 140 serves as a boundary and prevents, for example, during the stepping-on of the horse (driving while standing) and / or during the pulling phase of the cycle of wear (cf. FIG. 5 ) breaking the foot laterally.
  • the invention is not limited in its embodiment to the above-mentioned preferred embodiments. Rather, a number of variants is conceivable, which makes use of the inventive arrangement and the method according to the invention even with fundamentally different types of use.
