Claims (8)

  1. Transport device (20) for transporting flat, sheet-shaped material made of paper, board or the like, in particular printed or unprinted sheets, folding box blanks, or folding boxes, through one or more processing stations of a machine for processing sheets, including at least an upper (21, 21') and a lower conveying device (22, 22'), wherein the upper conveying device (21, 21') includes a sliding rail bar (29, 29') with multiple conveying rollers (24, 24') fixed in a resilient way and with a conveying means (23) guided by these conveying rollers (24, 24') and by further deflection rollers (26) and wherein the sliding rail bar (29, 29') is attached to a sliding rail plate (30), and wherein the lower conveying device (22, 22') includes a roller cheek (28) with multiple conveying rollers (38) fixed to a bar (41) and with a conveying means (23) guided by these conveying rollers and further deflection rollers (26), and wherein the conveying means (23) contact each other and wherein at least one of the upper and/or lower conveying devices (21, 21', 22, 22') is connected to a drive,
    characterized in
    that the sliding rail bar (29, 29') and the bar (41) fixed to the roller cheek (28) are fixed to the sliding rail plate (30) and the roller cheek (28), respectively, in a way to be freely changeable in terms of their length.
  2. Transport device (20) according to Claim 1,
    characterized in
    that the sliding rail bar (29, 29') and the bar (41) fixed to the roller cheek (28) include filler elements (33, 34) to change the length of the transport path, and that to adapt the length of the conveying means (23) to the respective length of the transport path the conveying means (23) are guided by additional deflection rollers (31, 44), which are adjustably fixed to the sliding rail plate (30) and to the roller cheek (28), respectively.
  3. Transport device according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in
    that the conveying means (23) are embodied as transport belts or transport tapes.
  4. Transport device according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in
    that the additional deflection rollers (31, 44) are displaceably fixed in grooves (32, 37) of the sliding rail plate (30) and the roller cheek (28), respectively.
  5. Transport device according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in
    that the transport device (20) includes two upper (21,21') and one lower (22, 22') conveying device.
  6. Transport device according to one of Claims 1 to 3,
    characterized in
    that the transport device (20) includes two upper (21,21') and two lower (22, 22') conveying devices.
  7. Transport device according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in
    that tools (36) for processing the sheet-shaped material or control devices for controlling the sheet-shaped material are provided in the gap between the two upper and/or lower conveying devices (21, 21', 22, 22').
  8. Transport device according to Claim 7,
    characterized in
    that the tool (36) for processing the sheet-shaped material is an embossing device or a braille embossing device or a creasing device or a cutting device.
