Die Auslösung der Löschmodule wird über die mechanische Trennung bzw. Zerstörung mindestens eines Seiles z.B. durch die einstürzende Hülle des zu schützenden Bereiches realisiert. Nicht dargestellt, aber vorteilhaft ist es wenn mehrere Seile 20 mit einer definierten Zugkraft horizontal und vertikal in dem zu schützenden Bereich angeordnet sind und mit einem zentralen Steuerblock 21 mit Pneumatikventilen verbunden sind. Diese Thermotrennglieder 23 erfüllen dann die ganz normale Standardfunktion eines Auslöseelementes, d.h. zur Seilauftrennung und Auslösung der Löschbehälter 2 im Fall einer bestimmten Temperaturüberschreitung. Das Thermotrennglied 23 wird aber gleichzeitig als Sollbruchstelle genutzt um im Fall einer mechanischen Zerstörung z.B. durch einen Terroranschlag, Explosion, Erdbeben und ähnliches über den Steuerblock 21 und den Druckabfall in der Steuerleitung 7 die Löschmittelbehälter 2 auszulösen.
