Abstract

Offenbart ist zum Einen ein Verfahren zum Leiten eines Heizmittels durch einen Plattenheizkörper (1) mit einer Heizplatte (2) und mindestens einer weiteren Heizplatte, wobei die Heizplatte (2) aus zwei Halbschalen (11) derart zusammengesetzt ist, dass zwischen den Halbschalen (11) für das Heizmittel ein unterer Sammelkanal (12), ein zu diesem parallel verlaufender oberer Sammelkanal (13) und zwischen den Sammelkanälen Steigkanäle (14) und Sinkkanäle (15) ausgebildet sind, und wobei das Heizmittel ausgehend von einem Heizmittelanschluss an einer Unterseite (5) des Plattenheizkörpers (1) in die Heizplatte (2) und in dieser zunächst in den unteren Sammelkanal (12), von diesem durch einen ersten Steigkanal (14) in den oberen Sammelkanal (13), von diesem durch die Sinkkanäle (15) wieder in den unteren Sammelkanal (12), von diesem durch weitere Steigkanäle (16) wieder in den oberen Sammelkanal (13) und von diesem in die mindestens eine weitere Heizplatte geleitet wird, zum Andern ein solcher Plattenheizkörper (1) mit einem Leitelement (17) in dem unteren Sammelkanal (12), das das Heizmittel von einem Heizmittelanschluss durch einen ersten Steigkanal (14) in den oberen Sammelkanal (13) leitet und mit Trennelementen (19) in dem oberen Sammelkanal (13), die weiteren Steigkanäle (16) von diesem derart trennen, dass das Heizmittel durch die Sinkkanäle (15) wieder in den unteren Sammelkanal (12) und von diesem durch die weiteren Steigkanäle (16) wieder in den oberen Sammelkanal (13) und von diesem in die mindestens eine weitere Heizplatte geleitet wird. Um eine gleichmäßigere Heizleistung zu erzielen wird, dass das Heizmittel in dem unteren Sammelkanal (12) der Heizplatte (2) in zwei Ströme geteilt wird und die Ströme getrennt durch die weiteren Steigkanäle (16) aus der Heizplatte (2) und durch zwei Heizmittelrohre in die mindestens eine weitere Heizplatte geleitet werden.
