Definitions

  • the invention relates to a table tennis table or a table tennis plate for playing table tennis.
  • table tennis is a ball sport that requires a table tennis table with net, a table tennis ball and a table tennis racket per player.
  • the table tennis tables generally include two plate halves which are pivotable between a horizontal, folded down play position and a substantially vertical, folded-up transport position. Often, in the pivoting of a plate half, the other plate half automatically moves accordingly, which is caused by a gear-like coupling between them. Due to safety requirements, such ping-pong tables must have an automatic backup, so that the plate halves - when they reach their game position or their transport position - are automatically secured against re-pivoting. The release of the fuse is often cumbersome. Furthermore, such a fuse is complicated in construction.
  • a table tennis table which includes two plate halves.
  • the plate halves are pivotable between a lower play position and an upper transport position.
  • the plate halves can be locked in the game position for safety reasons.
  • On the two plate halves release devices are attached. Unlocking the plate halves is possible from both sides of the table tennis table.
  • a disadvantage of this known table tennis table is that the release of the plate halves in their transport position is awkward.
  • the invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a table tennis table whose locked plate halves can be released in a simple manner again. Furthermore, the table tennis table should be extremely simple in construction and have a particularly reliable locking function for its plate halves.
  • the at least one first locking device comprises at least one first locking element, which is connected via a pivot joint device with two articulated, paired bearing devices in combination.
  • the pivot-joint device has an elongated recess or opening in which a standing with the one bearing device in solid connection protrusion is guided.
  • the pivot-joint device further has a circular recess or opening in which a projection in firm connection with the other bearing device is mounted. The projection is formed in particular by a bearing pin or a bearing screw.
  • Table tennis table as a whole comprises a frame 1 and a first and a second table tennis plate half 2, 3.
  • the plate halves 2, 3 are mounted on the frame 1 and are supported by this.
  • the frame 1 serves to support the plate halves 2, 3 with respect to a floor, such as a gym floor.
  • the plate halves 2, 3 are pivotable between a folded-down, horizontal play position and a folded-up, substantially vertical transport position or storage position or parking position. They are locked in their game position and in their transport position by an automatic locking system. If the plate halves 2, 3 thus reach their transport or play position, they are automatically secured by the locking system locally or against pivoting.
  • the locking system comprises a first automatic locking device 4 for locking the plate halves 2, 3 in their transport position. Furthermore, the locking system has a second automatic locking device 5 for locking the plate halves 2, 3 in their game position.
  • a release system with a first release device 6 and a second release device 7 is provided.
  • the two release devices 6, 7 are in each case in operative connection with the first and second locking device 4, 5. You can also use each other keep in touch.
  • the plate halves 2, 3 are coupled to each other so that when pivoting of a plate half 2, 3 automatically the other plate half 3, 2 is pivoted, ie the other plate half 3, 2 is thus almost synchronous moved.
  • the rectangular plate halves 2, 3 are identical. They each have an upper side 8 and a lower side 9 opposite the upper side 8.
  • the top 8 and the bottom 9 of a plate half 2, 3 are substantially parallel to each other.
  • In the game position of the plate halves 2, 3 are the tops 8 of the plate halves 2, 3 in a common horizontal plane.
  • the undersides 9 of the plate halves 2, 3 are then in a common horizontal plane.
  • the plate halves 2, 3 each have on the top 8 on a game surface or a game coating.
