Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for user-side configuration of an insert for inserting an object.
- GB 1,163,809 discloses a tool holder in which individual pins are inserted into holes of a backing plate to frictionally engage sides of a tool piece to be held.
- DE 198 22 972 discloses a device for releasably securing objects, in particular containers for sorted receiving tools or tool parts on a floor of a particular drawer, wherein between the object, in particular container and bottom a support is arranged, which has elements for fixing the object.
- DE 90 04 174 discloses a carrier card for holding and presenting an article, in particular a tool, characterized by a V-shaped fastener having three pins formed integrally therewith extending perpendicularly therefrom at the respective ends, the pins each carrying a plurality of inverted tooth projections, which are arranged on the outer surface at different distances from the exterior of the pins, and a V-shaped retaining element with three material uniformly formed here sleeves, each carrying at its front end a retaining ring which projects inwardly from the inner wall, wherein the pins of the V-shaped fastening elements can be guided in each case through mounting holes or auxiliary mounting holes of the card and with the sleeves of the V-shaped retaining element while encompassing the tool for engagement are feasible.
- DE 3517140 discloses a nut-containing and fastened by means of a cap screw on a provided with slots for inserting the screw shank support plate stop body, the screw head is at least approximately rectangular in shape and its narrow side has a smaller width than the width of the slots located in the support plate.
- the screw neck is provided with a projection which has two approximately diametrically opposite wedge-shaped tips, which come to a rotation of the inserted through the slot screw by about 90 ° to the two boundary edges of the slot to rest and prevent further rotation of the screw.
- the conventional tool inserts have the disadvantage that the tools contained are not adapted to the individual activities and needs of the user and any special tools (which may also be called non-standard tools) can not be accommodated.
- This object is achieved by a method for user-side configuration of an insert for inserting an article having the features according to the independent claim.
- a method according to the preamble of claim 1 is made US 2007/0144986 A1 known.
- a user-configurable insert for inserting an article, the insert having a (for example planar or substantially planar) support web and a plurality of studs (which may for example all be identically formed or mutually different in geometry and / or can distinguish material properties) which are individually removable from the carrier web (in particular detachable or permanently detachable) and which extend beyond the carrier web (or protrude above it), the nubs being individually (or selectively) from the carrier web in such a way removable (in particular detachable from the carrier web or irreversibly separable from the carrier web) are that a noppenabier region of the carrier web formed thereby configured specifically for receiving the object.
- a storage device for storing an article, the storage device comprising a container and a liner having the above-described features, which may be receivable in the container (in particular, fit) or received by the container ,
- a method of user configuring an insert for inserting an article comprising providing a carrier web having a plurality of nubs individually removably attachable or secured to the carrier web and the carrier web stand out, and a portion of the nubs is individually removed from the carrier web to form a nap-free portion of the carrier web specifically for receiving the article.
- a liner having the above-described features or a storage device having the above-described features for user-configuring at least one receiving space (ie, one or more receiving spaces) for at least one tool (ie, one or more tools) in the nap-free area used.
- a carrier web can be understood in particular to be any body which has a flat section on which nubs can be shaped or attached.
- Such a carrier web may in particular have a thickness which is substantially smaller than its length and its width.
- An extension direction of the dimples may be parallel to an extension direction of the thickness of the carrier web.
- the thickness may have at most one fifth of the length and / or the width, in particular at most one tenth of the length and / or the width.
- knobs can be understood in particular to be any physical structure which projects vertically or vertically over a surface region of a carrier web and thus can form a lateral boundary against which an object abuts laterally, which rests on the bare carrier web and moves laterally becomes.
- Such knobs may be quite different in geometry and shaped, for example, as pins or rings.
- a "defined regular lattice structure of studs fastened to the carrier web” can be understood in particular to mean a planar, ordered arrangement of studs on the carrier web.
- an ordered structure of equidistant nubs, by the targeted and individual removal of the carrier web a receiving trough can be formed, the shape of which is adaptable to the shape of an object to be accommodated therein.
- the user can start from a carrier web uniformly equipped with nubs and, based thereon, selectively remove individual nubs for forming a two-dimensional contour from the carrier web.
- a user can define an arbitrarily shaped receiving trough for picking up any object on the carrier web by means of removing a number of nubs, which receiving trough is bounded by surrounding nubs, whereby slippage of the object received in the receiving trough can be reliably avoided.
- Smaller items with a recess for example, tool nuts, can be plugged on pimples.
- a number of nubs may be remote from the carrier web, thereby defining a receiving trough formed to receive an article on the carrier web, which receiving trough is bounded by surrounding nubs.
- a user has object-specifically shaped such a receiving trough by deliberately removing individual nubs from a two-dimensional arrangement of knobs attached to the carrier web, the user can subsequently stow the object again in the associated receiving trough after removal of the article from the receiving trough. Since the shape (in particular the outline) of the receiving trough follows the shape (in particular the outline) of the article, it is possible for a user at a glance to associate the article to be stowed with an associated receiving trough. Then, an object can be inserted into the receiving trough without a nipping force being exerted on the article by nubs along an outline of the receiving trough.
- a custom configurable tool insert is provided for non-standard tools and individual tool inserts
- Tool sets or other objects can be designed.
- a tool insert can therefore be formed from a carrier web with nubs arranged thereon, it being possible for the carrier web and the nubs to be provided such that by extracting the nubs from the carrier web according to the support surface of the respective article, specific cutouts are also independent for non-standard tools and individual tool sets can be made by the user. After the user has generated the required cutouts according to this procedure, the user can classify further tools in the insert, remove them from them and secure them against unwanted slippage during daily use.
- An advantageous aspect of the present invention is to arrange user-selectable nubs on a carrier web and thus to form desired cutouts in the insert for non-standard tools and individual tool sets.
- a number of nubs may actually be removed from the carrier web, thus defining a receiving trough formed to receive an article on the carrier web, which receiving trough is bounded by surrounding nubs (ie, remaining on the carrier web).
- the object can be inserted or inserted in this receiving trough. If the object is inserted into the receiving trough, its circumference is adapted to the contour of the object.
- the article may be received without jamming in the receiving trough according to one embodiment. In other words, it is possible to form the receiving trough so that a force-free insertion into and out of the receiving trough is possible.
- the carrier web may have a first color (or a plurality of first colors), and the plurality of nubs may have a second color (or a plurality of second colors) different from the first color.
- carrier web and nubs can be colored differently. Due to the different coloring of carrier web and nubs can be made immediately apparent to a user, which tool is to be placed at which position and whether it may be missing in the insert.
- the colors of the carrier web and the nubs may preferably be in strong contrast to each other. For example, a bright coloring of the carrier web and a dark coloring of the nubs can be made or vice versa. In general, any desired light or dark color can be used as coloring.
- an additional carrier web and an additional plurality of nubs may be provided, which are individually removably fastened or fastened to the additional carrier web and protrude beyond the additional carrier web.
- the additional nubs may be individually removable from the additional carrier web such that a nap-free region of the additional carrier web formed thereby is specifically configurable to receive an additional article.
- a dimension of the nubs may be different from a dimension of the additional nubs.
- a spacing of the knobs from one another may be different from a spacing of the additional knobs.
- the tool inserts for example, for tool nuts of any size, for example, with the receptacles of 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch
- there may be, for example, three different forms of tool inserts for this purpose, three carrier webs of tool inserts for the respective inch size with different nub dimensions can be provided.
- the dimensions of the knobs of the respective carrier web correspond to the Dimensions of the output of the ratchet required for the respective nut size.
- Each cuboid nub may be arranged, for example, in a square grid structure with a fixed distance corresponding to the intended area of use on the respective carrier web. The user can attach the nuts with their output or drive in the desired arrangement on the knobs or cut out disturbing nubs or pinch off.
- Carrier web and additional carrier web may be formed integrally or einstoffig, may be connected to each other or may be provided separately from each other.
- the insert may be a portion of a carrier roll, wherein the carrier web, preferably with the plurality of nubs attached thereto, is wound up as a carrier roll.
- the carrier web and / or knobs may therefore be advantageous for the carrier web and / or knobs to be formed from a flexible and bendable material. It can be made for non-standard tools individual tool inserts. The user can customize the knobs specifically for the existing tool or tool set and cut the carrier web to the desired size according to the storage location such as a tool drawer or tool box, especially when provided as a continuous material on a roll (carrier roll).
- the provision can also take place in the form of sheet material, which is optionally cut to a desired level.
- the carrier web can have recesses in which correspondingly shaped elevations of the knobs can be fastened.
- This can be a positive, frictional and / or non-positive connection of bottom end extensions of the knobs with Grooves are provided in a surface area of the planar carrier web, for example.
- each of the depressions arranged in this region can be equipped with a nub. In this area then no depression is knob-free.
- a planar region of at least 20 contiguous depressions may be provided with nubs.
- a nub can be arranged in each recess of the carrier web.
- each individual such knobs can be removed from the user side of the recess.
- the carrier web can have elevations which can be fastened in correspondingly shaped depressions of the knobs.
- the nubs may have bottom-side grooves, which can be plugged onto projections of the otherwise preferably substantially planar-shaped carrier web.
- the plurality of nubs and the carrier web can be releasably attached to each other by means of a plug connection.
- a simple plugging or staking of nubs on or from the carrier web allows a reversible configuration and thus also a re-configure of certain deposits for items, which makes one and the same insert reusable.
- the carrier web may be provided with a depression or elevation in order to fix the corresponding shaped as a counterpart knob in the form of a releasable plug-in connection in the depression or réellestecken on the survey.
- the connector may be formed by means of a lateral clip element on the knobs or on the carrier web.
- a lateral clip element can be designed as a type of leaf spring in order to achieve a simple clipping and unclipping of the nub and, at the same time, a high fastening force.
- the plurality of studs can be detachably fastened to the carrier web by means of a screw connection.
- This reversible configuration also combines a strong fastening effect with a simple attachment and detachment, even for an amateur user.
- the plurality of dimples may each comprise a threaded rod and the carrier web may have grooves with internal threads corresponding to the threaded rods for forming the screw connection.
- the knobs may each have a groove with an internal thread and the carrier web may be provided with corresponding to the internal threads threaded rods to form the screw connection.
- the screw can be realized for example by a carrier web with recessed threads into which the studs provided with a threaded rod can be screwed.
- a carrier web can also be provided with holes into which the studs provided with a threaded rod can be inserted and screwed from below.
- the plurality of knobs and the carrier web may be formed integrally with each other.
- the knobs can be formed by milling from a base body, wherein a remaining below the milled knobs bottom portion of the base body can then form the carrier web.
- carrier web and nubs can be formed, for example, from a mass, can be glued, can be riveted, etc. Then the nubs can be permanently removed by a user once at desired locations of the carrier web to obtain a desired geometry for a particular tool.
- the integral provision of the nubs with the carrier web provides for a particularly stable configuration of the nubs not removed and is thus well suited for forming a permanently inserted receiving liner even under tough external conditions.
- the plurality of nubs may be secured to the carrier web according to a defined regular grid structure.
- a planar lattice structure may have, for example, a square-area grid, a rectangular-area grid, a circular-area grid, or a hexagonal-area grid.
- the arrangement of the knobs on the carrier web can be adapted to the respective storage medium and intended use (for example, the nature of the existing non-standard tools, tool sets, tool nuts or storage containers).
- the nubs may be arranged in a periodically repeating arrangement, that is in a grid structure (for example, square, rectangular or concentric).
- At least 10 dimples in particular at least 30 dimples, more particularly at least 100 dimples, may be provided on a carrier web.
- An area of the carrier web can be, for example, between 10 cm 2 and 10 m 2 , in particular between 100 cm 2 and 1 m 2 , more particularly between 500 cm 2 and 0.5 m 2 .
- the plurality of nubs may be formed, for example, as a truncated cone, mushroom, cylinder, pyramid, cuboid or cube. Any other shapes are possible.
- a cross-sectional geometry of the plurality of nubs may be circular, elliptical, square, rectangular or triangular. Again, many other cross-sectional shapes are possible.
- the nubs and the carrier web may be made of the same material or may be formed of different materials.
- Nubs and / or carrier web can or can be formed, for example, from foam, hard plastic, wood, metal, metal, ceramic, glass or stone material. A mixture of different materials, the mentioned or others, is also possible.
- a thickness of the carrier web may be, for example, between 1 cm and 10 cm (or between about 1 cm and about 10 cm), preferably between 2 cm and 5 cm.
- a width of the carrier web may be between 10 cm and 200 cm (or about 10 cm and about 200 cm), but may have other values.
- a length of the carrier web may be at least 100 cm (or about 100 cm), but may also be provided as a "continuous material" on a roll, such that the length may be 10 m or longer, for example.
- the height of the nubs may be between 1 cm and 5 cm (or between about 1 cm and about 5 cm), for example between 2 cm and 3 cm.
- a distance between adjacent ones of the plurality of nubs may be between 0.5 cm and 5 cm (or between about 0.5 cm and about 5 cm), for example 1 cm to 3 cm.
- Material and dimensions of the carrier web and material, shape, cross-section and dimensions of the knobs can be adapted to the respective storage medium or intended application (nature of existing non-standard tools, tool sets, nuts or storage boxes) and the connection between the carrier web and nubs. Furthermore, it is possible to fix or attach storage boxes of variable size and arbitrary shape according to the respective storage medium and intended application (for example for receiving small parts such as screws, dowels, nails or the like) on the carrier web.
- nubs may be arranged in a suitable manner for the fixing and shape (for containers with a rectangular base, for example, a knob on each corner) to the respective storage box.
- a storage box can thus be variably and according to the selected type of connection (for example, fixed fixing the box or detachable attachment of the box) also removably mounted on the carrier web.
- the insert may comprise a substrate which is advantageously formed for secured receiving in the napless area, adapted to an outline of the at least one male object and having an identifying feature for identifying it.
- a substrate having a visual identification feature formed thereon for identifying the object to be picked up can be inserted into the receiving trough formed on the carrier web.
- the substrate can be, for example, a planar laminate such as paper or a foil, for example made of plastic.
- the substrate may also be a soft material to which an inserted object can nestle, whereby additionally a slip protection can be formed.
- the identifier may be, for example, writing that describes or characterizes the object to be recorded (for example, "open-end wrench 8" to describe a size 8 open-end wrench).
- the identification feature can also be an image of the object to be recorded.
- the object to be photographed can be placed on a copier and the created copy cut out along the outline of the object and into the receiving trough are inserted.
- the substrate may be attached to the carrier web, for example captively attached thereto.
- the substrate may be adhered to the carrier web, pinned with needles, magnetically attached to the carrier web, etc.
- an adhesive tape may be used whose adhesive side is adhered to the carrier web and the non-adhesive side thereof is provided with the identifying feature , for example, is labeled.
- the degree of intuitiveness for a user can be further increased since even objects which are difficult to distinguish from their outline (for example "open-end wrench 8" and "open-ended wrench 9") can be made more distinguishable by the identification feature.
- the storage device may be, for example, a tool drawer or a tool box or a tool cart.
- the tool drawer for example, can be moved out of a cabinet in order to remove tools or to accommodate tools in the tool drawer.
- a carrier web can be inserted with the nubs.
- the insert according to the invention can be integrated.
- the nubs to be released can be reversibly drawn off from the carrier web to detach a portion of the nubs from the carrier web. This means that after peeling off the knobs to configure for a particular tool, these knobs will come back later the corresponding locations can be plugged onto the carrier web, for example, when a toolbox is now to be reconfigured to accommodate another tool. Such reversible usability extends the life of the insert according to the invention and thus increases the economy.
- the nubs to be released can be separated from the carrier web irreversibly. This can be done for example by means of knitting the knobs with scissors, pliers, a knife or the like. As a result, a very stable configuration can be created because the remaining nubs continue to remain integrally connected to the carrier web. An example undesirable loosening of knobs about slippage of the tool within the insert can be particularly safely avoided.

- the insert 1000 is formed from an embodiment which Fig. 1 equivalent.
- an additional carrier web 104' with nubs 106 is provided as a result, another nub-free area 200 'may be formed to accommodate the differently shaped object 102' (for example another tool or a storage box for screws or the like). comfortable to record.
- a combination of different carrier webs 104, 104 'and different nubs 106, 106' may therefore further increase the useful scope of the invention. While in Fig. 10 the carrier webs 104, 104 'are provided separately from one another, it is alternatively also possible to connect the carrier webs 104, 104' to one another or to provide different nubs 106, 106 'on a common carrier web.
- a part of a one-piece carrier web may also be provided with nubs described above to allow a user to define a receiving area for an article (for example a special tool).
- another portion of the unitary carrier web may be free of studs and may include one or more pre-formed depressions for receiving pre-defined and user-defined pits non-reconfigurable objects (for example, standard tools).
- FIG. 11 shows a plan view
- FIG. 12 shows a cross-sectional view of a substrate sheet 1100 of paper with an image 1102 of the object 102 'copied thereon.
- the substrate film 1100 is for placing in the napless region 200 'of FIG Fig. 10 shown insert 1100 formed and dimensioned.
- Fig. 10 illustrates an imaginary region 1002 in the nap free region 200 'to which the substrate film 1100 may be adhered.
- the insert 1000 thus has the substrate film 1100 designed for bonding in the nap-free area 200 ', which is adapted to an outline of the object 102' to be picked up and has the image 1102 as an identification feature for identifying the object 102 'to be picked up. This further makes it easier for a user to place the correct article 102 'in the correct receptacle.
- the substrate film 1100 with the identification feature copied thereon for identifying the male object 102 ' may be formed in the receiving trough formed on the carrier web 104 be inserted.
- the male object 102 ' may be placed on a copier for processing the substrate film 1100 and the copy made on the substrate film 1100 may be cut out along the outline of the article 102' and inserted and glued into the receptacle.
- the substrate film 1100 has an upper-side carrier layer 1200 on which the image 1102 can be copied.
- the substrate film 1100 further has an adhesive layer 1202 which serves for bonding in the region 1002.
- the adhesive strip 1202 is provided with a non-adhesive Cover strip 1204 covers, which can be removed before the gluing process.
