Hierzu können unterschiedliche Voreinspannungen eingestellt werden, um Behälter aus unterschiedlichen Materialien mit jeweils geeigneten Haltekräften behandeln zu können. Weiterhin ist eine Entspannung der Zentrierung vor der Entnahme des Behälters aus dem Karussell notwendig, damit dieser beim Verlassen der Behandlungsvorrichtung sicher weitergeführt wird. Diese eben genannten Zentrierverfahren sind jeweils vom Drehwinkel des Karussells abhängig.
