Wie aus der Figur 1 ersichtlich umfasst ein Zündtransformator 1 für eine Hochdruckgasentladungslampe ein Gehäuse 2 aus einem elektrisch nicht leitendem Material wie z.B. Kunststoff. Das Gehäuse 2 weist einen ovalen Querschnitt und zwei zumindest teilweise offenen Seiten auf, die sich gegenüber liegen. Verbliebener Raum in dem Gehäuse 2 und teilweise in dem Zündgerätegehäuse 17 wird mit Vergussmasse verfüllt. Damit hierbei eventuell in der Vergussmasse entstehende Gasblasen besser aus dem Gehäuse 2 entweichen können, ist an seiner Innenwand eine Nut 16 eingelassen, die sich in Längsrichtung des Gehäuses 2 in einer inneren Scheitellinie benachbart zu den Erhebungen erstreckt. Die Leiterplatte ist in das Zündgerätegehäuse 17 eingesetzt. Sie ist mit elektrischen/elektronischen Bauteilen und Kontaktflächen bestückt, die in das Innere des Zündgerätegehäuses 17 weisen. Die Positionen der Kontaktflächen entsprechen bei montierter Leiterplatte genau den Positionen der Erhebungen 8 und des zweiten Kontaktblechs 14. Das Zündgerätegehäuse 17 mit dem Zündtransformator 1 und der Leiterplatte bilden ein Zündgerät. Hierbei liegen die entsprechenden Kontaktflächen der Leiterplatte an den Endbereichen der Primärwicklung 12 sowie an dem zweiten Kontaktblech 14 an. Die Kontaktflächen einerseits sowie die Endbereiche der Primärwicklung 12 und das zweite Kontaktblech 14 andererseits werden aneinander befestigt, z.B. mittels Laserschweißen. Claims (9)

Zündtransformator für eine Hochdruckgasentladungslampe, umfassend
ein Gehäuse (2) mit zwei gegenüberliegenden zumindest teilweise offenen Seiten,
einen Kern (3) aus weichmagnetischem Material, der in dem Gehäuse (2) gelagert ist,
eine Primärwicklung (12), die schraubenartig aus bandförmigem Metall um das Gehäuse (2) geführt ist und
eine Sekundärwicklung (4) um den Kern (3),
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf einer Außenseite des Gehäuses (2) zwei in Längsrichtung beabstandete rampenartige Erhebungen (8) ausgebildet sind, über die jeweils ein Endbereich der Primärwicklung (12) geführt ist, wobei die Erhebungen (8) ebene Flächen (9) aufweisen.
