- Fuel injector according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a guide gap (13) is provided between the coupler sleeve (7) and that portion of the valve pin (6) which serves as a valve piston (8), which gap is less than 10 µm, preferably less than 5 µm in size.
- Fuel injector according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the coupler sleeve (7) has, at the inner circumference on the surface facing towards the spring element (10), a conical insertion opening (14) for receiving that portion of the valve pin (6) which serves as a valve piston (8).
- Fuel injector according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the valve pin (6) has a spring collar (16) and is preloaded with respect to a valve seat (18) by means of a spring element (17).
- Fuel injector according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the valve pin (6), at its end facing away from the valve seat (18), is guided in a sleeve (19), wherein the valve pin (6), the sleeve (19) and the valve plate (5) delimit a low-pressure chamber (20).
