Claims (8)
- System (1) for transmitting data via a transmission path between a tachograph (20) and a data processing installation (30), wherein the system (1) comprises at least one tachograph (20), arranged in a vehicle (200), and a data processing installation (30) and the system (1) comprises at least one communication controller (10), associated with the tachograph, for transmitting data via a transmission path (230) between the tachograph (20, 20'') arranged in the vehicle and the data processing installation (30, 30', 30'') arranged outside the vehicle, wherein the transmission path comprises at least one subsection (240), situated between the communication controller and the data processing installation, for a wireless transmission and a communication controller comprises a GSM module (150) and a WLAN module (140), wherein the communication controller (10) is in the form of a standalone device arrangeable in the vehicle and comprises a control unit (100), a connecting interface (110) to the tachograph and a power supply interface (130) and has a memory (120) and is configured to receive data (411) from the tachograph (20) and to buffer-store said data in the memory, and to receive authentication data of an authentication apparatus (330) associated with the data processing installation (30) from a server (300) of the data processing installation and to forward said authentication data to the tachograph (20),
wherein the data processing installation (30) is arranged outside the vehicle, and
wherein the data processing installation (30) has at least the server (300), a client (310, 320) and a communication interface (340, 350) for wireless data transmission with the communication controller (10),
wherein the communication controller (10) makes a connection between the tachograph (20) and the data processing installation (30) by means of the GSM module or the WLAN module and wherein the system is configured to perform a method according to Claim 6. - System (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that for the purpose of authenticating the tachograph (20) on the data processing installation (30) and/or the data processing installation (30) on the tachograph (20), an authentication apparatus (330) is connected to the data processing installation (30) and a further authentication apparatus is connected to the tachograph (20).
- System (1) according to either of Claims 1 and 2,
characterized in that the system (1) has a multiplicity of tachographs (20) and communication controllers (10) associated with the tachographs. - System according to one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that a transmission standard for the wireless data transmission is an IEEE 801.x and/or a Bluetooth and/or a wireless USB and/or a radio-wave and/or an infrared-wave standard. - System according to one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that there is an additional serial or analogue interface present for the wire-based transmission of data along the subsection. - Method for transmitting data via a transmission path (230) between at least one tachograph (20, 20'') arranged in a vehicle (200) and a data processing installation (30, 30'') at a distance from the vehicle (200),
wherein at least one communication controller (10) associated with the tachograph (20, 20'') is provided, which is in the form of a standalone device, arrangeable in the vehicle, that comprises a memory and that furthermore has a GSM module (150) and a WLAN module (140),
wherein the data processing installation (30) has a communication interface (340, 350, 355) for wireless data transmission with the communication controller (10) and the communication interface comprises a wireless access point (340) and/or a GSM network access (350),
wherein the data are transmitted wirelessly at least via a subsection (240) of the transmission path (230), said subsection being situated between the communication controller and the data processing installation,
and wherein the method comprises the following steps:a) registration (401) of the at least one communication controller (10) on the data processing installation (30; 30'');b) instruction (370) of the tachograph by the data processing installation to wirelessly transmit specific data between the at least one communication controller (10) and the data processing installation (30) ;c) authentication (405) of the data processing installation (30) on the at least one tachograph (20) and/or of the at least one tachograph (20) on the data processing installation (30), wherein the communication controller (10) receives authentication data of an authentication apparatus (330) associated with the data processing installation (30) from a server (300) of the data processing installation (30) and forwards said authentication data to the tachograph (20);d) conveyance of the specific data from the at least one tachograph (20) via the communication controller to the data processing installation (30), wherein the communication controller (10) receives data (411) from the tachograph (20) and buffer-stores said data in the memory;and wherein the data processing installation (30) has information about the at least one tachograph, wherein the information comprises at least a time and an instruction to be performed at the time,
and wherein the information (361, 362, 363, 364) about the at least one tachograph (20) is provided in the data processing installation (30) and the instruction that is contained in the information and to be performed from the time contained in the information is sent to the tachograph, this involving standard queries or involving requests, arising on the basis of already archived information, to the tachograph by means of the data processing installation. - Method according to Claim 6, characterized in that data conveyed between the at least one tachograph (20) and the data processing installation (30) are buffer-stored in the communication controller.
- Method according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that a multiplicity of tachographs are provided, wherein the information is provided in the data processing installation for each tachograph and the data processing installation communicates with the tachographs independently of one another.
