De tels moyens 203 de navigation serviront également à l'utilisateur pour pouvoir naviguer à l'intérieur de son propre historique de navigation. Ainsi, une telle couronne circulaire associée à un écran 201 tactile, permet à l'utilisateur d'une part de naviguer aisément et naturellement dans un corpus composé d'un grand nombre de documents multimédia et d'autre part, de sélectionner aisément un document multimédia parmi ce corpus. Ceci contribue à augmenter l'ergonomie et la facilité de navigation dans un grand nombre de documents multimédia, même au moyen d'un terminal du type téléphone mobile limité en termes d'interface de navigation, dès lors que ce dernier est équipé d'un dispositif de gestion de documents multimédia selon l'invention, des moyens 23 adaptés pour prendre en compte en compte au moins une autre gestuelle haptique d'un utilisateur pour naviguer entre les différentes couches (30, 31, 32, 33 dans l'exemple de la figure 3.b) représentatives des différents sous-ensembles de documents multimédia. De tels moyens 23 se présentent avantageusement sous la forme d'un cylindre 23 que l'utilisateur peut tirer/ appuyer pour naviguer dans les différents couches (30, 31, 32, 33) de sous-ensembles de documents multimédia selon les directions 341 ou 342.
