Description

    Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to a vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus for an electric vacuum cleaner, more particularly to a vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus capable of elastically beating or striking the object to be cleaned, such as the bed mattress, the blanket, the carpet and the clothe, and efficiently and cleanly sucking and removing the dust (and/or the dirt, the bacteria such as the rat mites, and etc.) infiltrated into the object to be cleaned.
  • Background Art
  • Generally, an electric vacuum cleaner for the conveniency of cleaning is advantageously used to suck and clean the dust and the dirt on the floor of the building such as the house, the business room and/or the commercial business.
  • Such a vacuum cleaner is effective to clean the dust and the dirt on the floor or the window frame, but is unfavorable to clean the bedding such as the bed mattress and the blanket, the carpet and the clothes. JP 1 223 917 A describes a suction part body for a vacuum cleaner. US 3 615 819 A describes a nap-surface cleaning with tuned frequency beaters. GB 338 414 A relates to improvements to in vacuum cleaners, where a brush or beater is arranged and disposed in the working mouth of a suction pipe.
  • In fact, the dust and the dirt may be easily pierced into the woven structure of the bedding such as the bed mattress and the blanket, the carpet and the clothe. [0005] In such that case, it is difficult to clearly suck and remove the dust and the dirt pierced into the woven structure of the bedding, the capet and the clothe by a predetermined vacuum suction power of the vacuum cleaner only.
  • Further, when a pet such as a dog and a cat is bred within the house, the dirt such as hairs and scurfs secreted from the pet may be easily penetrated inside of the bedding, the carpet and the clothes.
  • Accordingly, if the bedding, the carpet and the clothes where the dirt secreted from the pet is unremoved is used daily, a skin ailments such as an atopic dermatitis and a respiratory disease may be caused harmfully in the human body.

  • Especially, the bed mattress is habitable by the rat mite caused the skin ailments and/ or the respiratory disease to the human body, the rat mite is not easily removed with the vacuum suction power of the vacuum cleaner.
  • Further, when the sandy dust or the minute dust in the auto exhaust in the atmosphere and/or the smell of smoke sink into the woven structure of the clothes, it is difficult to remove the dusts and/or the smell from the woven structure of the clothes by the vacuum suction power of the vacuum cleaner only.
  • Recently, in consideration of such that case, an electrical magnetic solenoid or an electromagnet is applied into a suction head of the vacuum cleaner such that the object (namely, the bedding, the carpet and the clothe) to be cleaned can be pound by the vibration of the electrical magnetic solenoid or the electromagnet in order to remove the dust or the dirt in the object(that is, the cleaning object).
  • Here, such the vacuum cleaner where the cleaning object is cleaned by the vibration of the solenoid or the electromagnet is preferable to a general cleaner where the cleaning object is cleaned by the vacuum suction power thereof only.
  • However, because the surface of the cleaning object is repeatedly in contact with the vibration of the solenoid or the electromagnet, the dust the dirt, the rat mite and/or the smell in the woven structure of the cleaning object can not be satisfactorily removed.
  • Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
  • Accordingly, an object of the present invention provides to a vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus for an electric vacuum cleaner, which the cleaning object to be cleaned, such as the bedding(namely, the bed mattress, the blanket and etc.), the carpet and the clothes, can be repeatedly and stronly beaten with a beat-structure activated in elastic by a rotary drum to be cooperated with an electric motor so as to satisfactorily and cleanly remove the dust (and/or the dirt, the bacteria such as the rat mites, and etc.) infiltrated into the cleaning object in efficiency.

  • According to the present invention, a plurality of openings through which the beating rods or the beating member of the beating module elastically beats the cleaning object and the air including dust from the cleaning object is sucked are formed at the bottom of the lower case.
  • The front tip of the beating modul is in a structure where the tip are separatively lifted by the cleaning object beating module lifting protrusion, a structure where several tips integrated are simultaneously lifted by cleaning object beating module lifting protrusion, or a structure where the whole tips are integrated and simultaneously lifted by the cleaning object beating module lifting protrusion.
  • Preferably, a bened portion is formed at a predetermined position of the beating rods, and the front tips of the beating rods are formed in a spherical shape.
  • The beating module lifting protrusion of the rotary drum is defined in a structure where at least one protrusion is formed in the periphery of the rotary drum, or a structure where several protrusions are discontinuously and differently formed at the periphery of the rotary drum.
  • Alternatively, the beating modules are formed on both sides of the rotary drum.
  • Advantageously, the head is provided with a sterilization unit including an ultraviolet ray lamp detachably or integrally.
  • A vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus for cleaning the cleaning object including the bedding, the carpet, the clothes and etc according to another embodiment of the present invention includes a lower case and an upper case for covering the lower case, an electric motor generating the rotation force for beating the surface of a surface of the cleaning object to be cleaned, a rotary drum which is cooperated with the electric motor and has at least one cleaning object beating module lifting protrusion formed on the periphery surface thereof, a beating module having a plurality of beating rods or a beating member for elastically beating the cleaning object, the beating rods and the beating member having respectively an front tip which is accumulated with the elasticity force by the cleaning object beating module lifting protrusion in accordance with the rotation of the motor, a cover mounted on the upper side of the lower case, and an elastic spring disposed between the bottom surface of the cover and the upper surface of the beating module for elastically supporting the beating module.
  • Also, several beat module ascent and descent supporting shafts, which maintain at regular intervals to each other, of a certain length are formed at a predetermined location of the lower case.
  • Moreover, several shaft guide openings, corresponding to the beat module ascent and descent supporting shafts, are formed at a predetermined location of the beating module.
  • Alternatively, at both sides of the rotary drum, beating members are formed to elastically beat the cleaning object in accordance with the rotation of the motor.
  • Advantageously, the head is provided with a sterilization unit including an ultraviolet ray lamp detachably or integrally.
  • Advantageous Effects
  • According to the vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus of the present invention, because the cleaning object to be cleaned, such as the bedding(namely, the bed mattress, the blanket and etc.), the carpet and the clothes, can be repeatedly and stronly beaten with the beating module or the beating memeber structure activated in elastic by the rotary drum to be cooperated with the electric motorm, it is possible to satisfactorily and cleanly remove the dust (and/or the dirt, the bacteria such as the rat mites, and etc.) infiltrated into the cleaning object in efficiency.

  • The middle portion of the respective wheel bearing fixture 38 is defined as a bearing supporting half-round 38 for correspondingly receiving the bearing 36 and, on both sides of the respective wheel bearing fixture 38, screw holes 38a are formed in correspondence with the screw holes 32a so that a screw 40 is penetrated through the corresponding screw hole 38a.
  • According to the present invention, it is not limited that the movable wheel 28 is outwardly exposed through the openings 26. That is, the movable wheel 28 may be installed at the outside of the main casing 12.
  • Referring to Fig. 2, at the front of the lower case 12b, rotary drum brackets 42 are formed at a certain distance and, at the rear of the lower case 12b, a bracket 46 for supporting a cleaning object beating member to be described later is formed at a certain height.
  • Moreover, a plurality of beating member passing holes 50 are formed between the rotary drum brackets 42 and the cleaning object beating member supporting bracket 46 so that the cleaning object beating member comprising a plurality of beating rods as described later elastically beats and strikes the cleaning object (for example, the bedding, the carpet, the clothes and etc.) through the beating member passing holes 50.
  • Referring to Fig. 5 shown the principal part of the vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus according to the present invention, each of the axes 56a and 56b of both ends of the rotary drum 56 is disposed the corresponding rotary drum bracket 42.
  • In the middle portion of the respective rotary drum bracket 52, a rotary drum bearing 54 which is the corresponding axis 56a or 56b of the rotary drum 56 is receipted is provided for supporting the smooth rotation of the rotary drum 56.
  • Preferably, according to the present invention, the peripheral surface of the rotary drum 56 is provided with at least one or more blade-type cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60.
  • An end of the rotary drum 56 is provided with a driven gear 58 (for example, a bevel gear) which is cooperated with the electric motor 16, and several gears 60 are formed at a predetermined angle on the peripheral surface of the rotary drum 56.
  • Here, according to the present invention, the location of the electric motor 16 for driving the rotary drum 26 is not limited as shown in Fig. 5. That is, the electric motor 16 may be mounted at any location which will be able to attain the technical essential of the present invention. Besides, it is possible to connect the electric motor 16 and the rotary drum 56 by means of an endless belt.
  • Referring to Fig. 5, an end(that is, the rear side) of the cleaning object beating member module 62 is fixed to at the cleaning object beating member supporting bracket 46 on the lower case 12b.
  • According to the present invention, the cleaning object beating member module 62 comprises a plurality of beating rods 62a and the respective beating rod has a front tip 62b which is formed upwardly.
  • The electric motor 16 is fixed on the lower case 12b by tightening a screw(not shown) to the bracket fixture hole(not shown) formed in the fixture ribs 66a of the sides of the motor fixing bracket 66.
  • And, the axis 64a of the electric motor 16 is provided with the driving gear 69 which is teethed with the driven gear 58 on the axis 56b of the rotary drum 56 and transfers the rotation force of the motor 16 to the rotary drum 56 through the driven gear 58.
  • Accordingly, when the movable wheel 28, the electric motor 16, the rotary drum 56 and the cleaning object beating member module 62 are installed in the lower case 12b of the vacuum induction head of the present invention and the electric power is turned 'ON' by the switch 16, the electric motor 16 rotates in high-level, middle level or low-level adjusted by the switch 16.
  • Then, the rotation power of the motor 16 is transmitted to the driven gear 58 through the driving gear 69 coupled to the motor axis 64a. Thus, the rotary drum 56 is rotated so that, due to the rotation of the rotary drum 56, the front tips 62b of the beating rods 62a are simultaneously raised and, thus, the elastic force is build up to the the beating rods 62a.
  • On the other hand, when the front tips 62b of the beating rods 62a are detached from the cleaning object beating module lifting protrusions 60 of the rotary drum 56, the cleaning object (for example, the bedding, the carpet, the clothe and etc) beat elastically and strongly by the elastic force of the beating rods 62a and, then, the dust and/or the dirt from the cleaning object can be sucked through the connecting tube 14 of the vacuum induction head of the present invention.
  • More particularly, when the rotary drum 56 is rotated from a condition where the tips 62b of the beating rods 62a of the module 62 is disconnected from the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60 of the rotary drum 56 as shown in Fig. 6, the tips 62b of the beating rods 62a are simultaneously raised by the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60 of the rotary drum 56 as shown in Fig. 7.
  • After, when the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60 of the rotary drum 56 are rotated over a predetermined angle, the tips 62b of the beating rods 62a are detached from the presently contacted cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusion 60 of the rotary drum 56 and falls elastically so as to beat the cleaning object through the beating member passing holes 50 as shown in Fig. 8.
  • Accordingly, the dust and/or the dirt penetrated in the cleaning objet can be shaked off by the repetitive beating action of the beating rods 62a and, then, the dust and/or the dirt from the cleaning object can be sucked by the vacuum suction power of the vacuum cleaner connected to the vacuum induction head according to the present invention.
  • Fig. 9 is a view showing another example of the cleaning object beating apparatus in the vacuum induction head according to the present invention.
  • Referring to Fig. 5, the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusion 60c which maintain a certain angle to each other are formed on the periphery surface of the rotary drum 56 such that the beating roads 62a can beat and dust off the cleaning object at the same time.
  • In camparison with such that structure showin in Fig. 5, according to this example, a plurality of cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60a which maintain a certain distance and location to each other are formed on the periphery of the rotary drum 56. Here, the number of the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60a are identical to the number of the beating roads 62a of the module 62.
  • In the configuration of Fig. 9 described above, when the rotary drum 56 is rotated, the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions 60a formed in different locations can beat and dust off the cleaning object in time difference and in sequence.
  • On the other hand, according to still another example of the cleaning object beating apparatus shown in Fig. 10 a side of the rotary drum 56 is eccentric on pivots 56a and 56b of both ends thereof and acts as a cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusion 60b for lifting the tips 62b of the beating rods 62a.
  • According to the present invention, the formation and location of the cleaning object beating member module lifting protrusions(s) on the periphery surface of the rotary drum 56 shown in Fig.5 and Figs. 9 and 10 to can be variously changed if the elasticity operation of the beating roads(that is, beating member) 62a is achieved in accordance with the rotation of the electric motor 16.
  • Fig. 11 shows a view showing a modified example of the cleaning object beating member in the vacuum induction head with a dust-beating apparatus according to the present invetnion.
  • In the example described above, the beating rods 62a of the module 62 are formed in generally linear and has the upwardly formed front tips 62b. But, according to this modified example, a bended portion 62c is formed at a predetermined location of the respective beating rod 62a in order to beat the cleaning object in enhanced elasticity force.
  • Also, this modified example shows that if the front tip 62d of the dust beat body 62a is formed in a spherical shape or fitted with a separate spherical-shaped tip member, it is possible to prevent the damage of the surface or the woven structure of the cleaning object.
  • Fig. 12 shows another modified example of the cleaning object beating module in the vacuum induction head according to the present invention.
  • As seen from Fig. 12, the beating rods 70 are alined at regular intervals, and the front tips of the adjacent cleaning object beat rods 70 are integrated so as to enhance the elasticity force for the cleaning object.
  • According to the present invention, in the afore-mentioned examples the cleaning object is beaten by the elasticity force of the module 62 accumulated from the rotation of the rotary drum 56 which is cooperated with the electric motor 16.
  • But, if the beating rods may be formed on both sides of the rotary drum 56 and the electric motor may be rotated in clockwise or counterclockwise, it is possible that the cleaning object is alternatively beaten by the beating rods of the both sides of the rotary drum 56 in accordance with the clockwise- and counterclockwise-rotation of the electric motor 16.

  • Advantageously, the opposite sides of the rotary drum 102 are provided with several blade-shaped beatting module lifting protrusions 102b for lifting the tip 94 of the cleaning object beat body 86.
  • According to the present invention, the formation shown in Fig. 5, Fig. 11 or Fig. 12 can be applied instead of the rotary drum 102 in accordance with the shape of the beating module 86 according to this embodiment.
  • In the structure of the vacuum induction head according to the present invention, if the electric motor 100 rotates and, thus, the rotary drum 102 coupled to the axis 100a of the motor 100 is rotated cooperatively, the beating module lifting protrusions 102b of the rotary drum 102 are rotated and alternatively lift the front tip 94 of the beating moudle 86 so as to accumulate the elasticity force for beating the cleaning object.
  • After, when the front tip 94 of the beating module 86 is depart from the presently-contacted beating module lifting protrusion 102b, the beating module 86 can be descended through the beating rod passing and dust-suction openings 82 and beats the the cleaning object elastically and stronly.
  • In a series cleaning object beating operation of the beating module 86, if the front tip 94 of the body 86 is lifted by the beating module lifting protrusion 102b of the rotary drum 102, the rotating operation of the pivot projections 88 of the module 86 are supported by the bearings 84a of the lower case 80.
  • Also, during the front tip 94 is lifted by the beating module lifting protrusion 102b of the rotary drum 102, departs from the beat rod lifting protrusion 102b of the rotary drum 102 and elastically beats the cleaning object, the beating module 86 is elastically supported by the elastic spring 98.
  • Accordingly, under the elastic support of the spring 98, the beating module 86 can repeatedly beat and clean the cleaning object in accordance with the rotation of the rotary drum 102 cooperated with the motor 100.

  • Fig. 15 shows another vacuum cleaner applied with the cleaning object beating a pparatus in the vacuum induction head according to the present invention.
  • In such a case of the handy-type vacuum cleaner 300, the vacuum induction head (referring to '12' of Fig 1) of the present invention can be detachably or integrally applied on the front side or the front and lower side of the vacuum cleaner 300 so that the cleaning object is beaten by the vacuum induction head 12 and simultaneously sucked by the vacuum suction motor of the vacuum cleaner 300.
  • Further, the suction cleaning of the vacuum cleaner 200 or 300 can be achieved even if the vacuum induction head 12 with the beat function described above is applied to the vacuum cleaner 200 or 300.
