- an acoustic actuator 3 is integrated in the middle of the carrier 2, which is integrated.
- the properties of the sound-emitting carrier 2, its shape, the size of its surface, its thickness and above all its mechanical properties, but also the design of the actuator 3 and its local arrangement on the sound-emitting carrier 2 determine the acoustic properties of the flat-panel loudspeaker 1. Since, for example, completely different materials can be used for the sound-emitting carrier 2, a selection of materials already results Difficulty. Because it depends on whether the flat speaker 1, as in the case of wood materials, especially in the higher frequency range or on the other hand, such as glass, and plastics in the low-frequency range has a large attenuation, in the latter case, high frequency components excessive and thus rattles inclines. Because of this problem, area speakers, although the principles have long been known in a variety of per se possible applications have not been enforced because other electro-acoustic transducers are known whose frequency response is easier to correct.

Abstract
Description
US A 3,728,497 ,US A 3,636,281 oderUS A 3,449,531 bekannt, wurden Anstrengungen unternommen, die bekannten Nachteile des Flächenlautsprechers mittels konstruktiver Maßnahmen zu beheben.
- In
- In
