1 A top gripping article carrier for holding top portions of articles arranged in two rows, comprising a pair of top engaging structures for engaging said tow rows of said ^ articles respectively, upper and lower top wall panels interconnecting said top engaging structures, said upper top wail panel being connected to one of said sop engaging structures, said lower top wail panel being connected to the orher of said top engaging structures arid piaced under said upper top wall panel, and a top supporting panel ningediy connected Io said lower top wail panel, wherein said top io supporting panel extends into said one top engaging structure to engage said top portions of said artioies engaged by said one top engaging structure.
