Description

The present invention relates to a lighting arrangement, in particular in the form of a floor lamp, a table lamp or a suspended workstation lamp for illuminating a workplace.

Luminaires of this type are used, for example, in open-plan offices, since they offer the possibility of individually illuminating the individual workstations in accordance with the wishes of the users in addition to the general illumination of the room. Such individual illumination would be difficult to realize with the general lighting of a large office, so that the working comfort is significantly improved by these special table or floor lamps or general workplace lights.

In addition to the lighting problems that arise in the illumination of open-plan offices with a variety of jobs, there is another problem in the acoustic situation. Due to the many people who work simultaneously in a corresponding room, there is generally a relatively high noise level, which prevents concentrated work or at least makes it difficult. In order to reduce this problem, such rooms have in the past been provided with acoustically insulating surfaces, in particular specially designed ceilings. However, due to the change in the room situation and the increasing tendency to save energy, such solutions are becoming less and less applicable, as e.g. an acoustically effective ceiling would strip the thermally activated raw ceiling and render it ineffective accordingly. Accordingly, it is now often attempted to solve the acoustic problem by providing as much insulation as possible over other elements, such as e.g. Furniture and the like. Is done. However, this procedure is often not applicable in corresponding open-plan offices.

The present invention is based on the object of specifying a novel solution which contributes to the creation of optimal working conditions, especially in open-plan offices. On the one hand the lighting should be optimized and on the other hand the noise pollution should be reduced.

The object is achieved by a lighting arrangement with the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The solution according to the invention is based on the concept of so-called active sound insulation. Basically, this concept of active sound insulation is that by emitting acoustic signals, attempts are made to reduce the noise level present at a specific workstation or, more generally, in a specific area. This is achieved in that a phase-shifted, actively transmitted via loudspeaker counter-noise for extinction or at least a reduction of the natural noise signal provides. In any case, this at least a masking of the intelligibility of originating from the environment speech noise is achieved, which means that the general noise in the open-plan offices significantly more disturbing effect on the individual work situation.

It is now proposed to integrate these measures for active sound insulation in a lighting arrangement, so that individually adapted via a single device, the lighting and the work situation is additionally optimized due to reduced noise pollution.

Accordingly, according to the present invention, a lighting arrangement, in particular in the form of a floor lamp, a table lamp or a suspended workstation luminaire for illuminating a workstation is proposed which comprises:
  • Means for illuminating a lighting area,
  • Means for acoustically detecting a sound signal present in the illumination area,
  • Means for delivering an acoustic counter-signal in the lighting area and
  • a control unit for controlling the means for outputting the acoustic counter signal such that the sound is reduced by the acoustic counter signal within the illumination range.

Preferably, the means for lighting, the means for delivering the acoustic counter-signal and the control unit in a lamp, eg. A floor lamp, a table lamp or a workstation light integrated. Furthermore, it can also be provided that the detection means in the form of a microphone integrated into the lamp or are arranged on the lamp. This solution is particularly useful when the lamp is positioned very close to the area to be illuminated and in which the noise pollution is to be reduced, ie, for example, in table lamps. Alternatively, however, it would also be possible for the acoustic detection to take place by means of a microphone separate from the luminaire, which is then preferably connected to the control unit via a wireless communication connection, for example a radio connection or a connection according to the known Bluetooth standard.

The output of the acoustic counter signal is preferably via one or more speakers. These can be arranged in particular immediately after a Lichtabstrahlelement the light for light output. In this way it is achieved that both the light emitted by the light and the sound counter signal are directed to the same area, namely the work area.

the detailed embodiment of a lamp according to the invention.

Fig. 1 shows the generally provided with the reference numeral 1 inventive system which is used to illuminate a workstation 100. This workstation 100 is shown in the present case as a desktop workstation, wherein on the desk 101, a PC 102 is positioned. In front of this PC 102 or laterally therefrom, a work area 103 is defined, which serves, for example, for creating or reading documents or documents. Within this work area 103 in particular should be a particularly optimal lighting.

The lighting of this work area 103 via a lamp 5, which is designed in the present case as a floor lamp. In the same way, however, a table lamp positioned directly on the table top or a so-called suspended workstation lamp could also be used. Shine the in Fig. 1 shown type are known in a variety of variants. They offer the opportunity to illuminate a smaller area individually in order to create optimal working conditions in this area.

Accordingly, there is a first function of in Fig. 1 Light 5 shown therein also illuminate the work area 103. It is thus directed via a light source 5 arranged in the light source - possibly by means of appropriate light emitting elements - light in the desired manner to the work area 103.

A further function of the illumination arrangement 1 according to the invention is now to ensure optimum working conditions within this working area 103, also with regard to the acoustic conditions. Particularly in open-plan offices, the present noise level has a disruptive effect on the work activity. Particularly problematic is the voice noise from neighboring workplaces, as this can affect the concentration particularly.

In order to solve or reduce this problem, it is accordingly provided that the lighting arrangement 1 causes an active noise reduction at the workstation 100. This active noise reduction is based on the well-known concept of cancellation of wave signals due to superposition effects. In particular, the active transmission of antiphase signals ensures that the original shutter signal and the counter signal are superimposed in such a way that ultimately an overall reduction of the sound or noise level is achieved. Accordingly, it is therefore provided that not only light but also a sound signal is emitted by the lamp 5, with the help of which the noise pollution is reduced.

As the illustration in Fig. 2 shows, the lamp 5 in addition to a - in the illustrated embodiment - large-area Lichtabstrahlelement 6 for light output additional speakers 7, via which the sound counter signal is to be delivered. As shown, the speakers 7 are preferably arranged adjacent to the light emitting element 6, wherein it is provided that both the light and the counter sound signal are emitted in the same direction, that is to be directed onto the working area 103.

As explained above, the concept of active noise reduction is based on the fact that a phase-shifted counter signal is intentionally emitted to the ambient noise. For this purpose, it is therefore first necessary for the noise originating in the working area 103 to be detected. In the illustrated embodiment, it is provided for this purpose that a corresponding microphone 8 is arranged on the lamp 5, which in turn selectively to the work area 103rd is directed. The signals detected by the microton 8 are transmitted to a control unit 9 integrated in the light 5, which performs a corresponding control of the loudspeakers 7. The sound counter signal emitted via the loudspeakers 7 then ensures at least partial cancellation of the ambient noise. At least it is achieved in this way that the particularly annoying speech noise is modified / attenuated so that the intelligibility is lowered. Already this means that the concentration of a person staying in the workplace 100 is significantly less affected.

Of high relevance for the functioning of the concept of active sound insulation is, as already noted, that the acoustic conditions present directly at the working area 103 are detected. Accordingly, as an alternative to the illustrated embodiment, it would also be conceivable for a separate microphone to be arranged directly on this region 103, which microphone is then connected to the control unit 9 of the luminaire 5. In particular, wireless communication connections, such as, for example, a radio connection or a connection according to the Bluetooth standard, would be conceivable.

Preferably, it can be provided that the active noise reduction can be activated separately from the light output by the light 5. Accordingly, it is possible for a user to optionally determine whether a sound reduction should be made or not. Alternatively, however, it would also be conceivable that, in principle, when the light source of the luminaire 5 is activated, a sound counter signal is emitted via the loudspeaker 7.
