Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Haarentfernungsvorrichtung (1), insbesondere ein Epiliergerät, mit zumindest zwei benachbarten Scheiben (10), zwischen denen ein zu entfernendes Haar (27) einfangbar ist, wobei zumindest eine der beiden Scheiben (10) um eine Drehachse (9) rotatorisch antreibbar ist. In Abkehr vom bislang verfolgten Ansatz, die an der Epilierwalze eingefangenen Haare möglichst fest zu klemmen, wird vorgeschlagen, eine Relativbewegung zwischen den Scheiben und den zwischen den Scheiben eingefangenen Haaren zuzulassen und hierdurch eine weniger schräge Zugrichtung zu erreichen. Erfindungsgemäß besitzt die zumindest eine antreibbare Scheibe des benachbarten Scheibenpaares auf ihrer der anderen Scheibe zugewandeten Seite zumindest eine zur Radialrichtung schräg verlaufende Einzugsrippe (18) zum Einziehen des eingefangenen Haares zur Drehachse der Scheibe hin. Durch den schrägen Verlauf der Einzugsrippe und die Rotationsbewegung der Scheibe zieht die Einzugsrippe das eingefangene Haar tiefer und tiefer zwischen die Scheiben nach innen hinein. Vorteilhafterweise sind die Scheiben und/oder ein davon eingefangenes Haar durch einen Ultraschallerzeuger mit hochfrequenten Schwingungen beaufschlagbar, um das Entlanggleiten des eingefangen Haars auf der Einzugsrippe zu erleichtern bzw. die Haarentfernung zu erleichtern.
