Description
- The invention relates to a band for a concealed arrangement between the frame and wing in particular a door or a window of the preamble of claim 1 corresponding type.
- Such a band is from the
GB 2 203 483 A - The frame and wing hinge members each include a cam assembly that cooperates with one of the two end portions of the lever. The lever is spring loaded with a rotation spring acting between it and the hinge bracket so that the wing-side end portion of the lever is pressed against the cam surface of the wing cam assembly.
- The cam arrangement of the wing hinge part has a Aufnehmung, in which the wing-side end portion of the lever can engage after reaching an opening position of the wing about 90 degrees, thereby the frame-side end portion of the lever from a recess of the cam assembly of the Zargenbandteils ausrückt and pivoting of the hinge bracket to the Zargenscharnierachse releases.
- In the from the
GB 2 203 483 A - The invention is therefore based on the object to further develop a generic tape such that it is also suitable for door or window sash.
- This object is achieved by the reproduced in claim 1 band.
- Characterized in that the cam assembly and the lever are designed such that a pivoting of the lever is positively controlled, is reliably prevented that the lever passes over the spring force out of engagement of the recess in the cam assembly and it to an uncontrolled pivoting of the hinge lever about both hinge axes comes.
- By "positively controlled" is meant that the lever is guided over the entire opening path of the wing in both pivoting directions of the lever. An unintentional "disengagement" of an end portion of the lever from the associated recess of the cam assembly, as may occur in particular if play has due to wear of the end portions of the lever in the associated recess or the spring force subsides, is thus excluded.
- In a preferred embodiment of the band according to the invention means are provided which limit pivoting of the hinge bracket about the Zargenscharnierachse to a certain Zargenschwenkwinkel. By this measure, the band according to the invention can be adapted to certain frames / wing systems. Furthermore, it is ensured that a pivoting of the hinge bracket about the Zargenscharnierachse by a greater than the maximum desired angle is impossible.
- In a preferred constructional variant, these means have an extension provided on the hinge bracket.
- On the Zargenbandteil then a recess may be provided, in which engages the extension and whose ends form the Zargenschwenkwinkel limiting stops for the extension.
- The recess can-as particularly preferably-be designed in the form of a gallery and concentric with the frame hinge axis. The extension is then mounted in the appropriate distance to the Zargenscharnierachse on the hinge bracket and follows between the two longitudinal end portions during pivoting the course of the backdrop.
- It has made sense in most applications to restrict the Zargenschwenkwinkel to a maximum of 90 degrees. In the preferred embodiment, the scenery thus extends approximately over the length of a quarter circle.
- In a particularly preferred constructive variant of the band according to the invention, the cam arrangement of the Zargenbandteils a flat, extending approximately radially to the Zargenscharnierachse stop surface for the front side of the frame-side end portion of the lever. By this measure it is ensured that it can not come to relative movements between the frame-side end portion of the lever and the cam assembly with the result of increased wear or jamming when closing the wing in angular ranges in which the wing is pivoted exclusively about the wing hinge axis.
- To ensure that in this angular range of the frame-side end portion reliably remains in engagement with the abutment surface, the cam assembly of the frame hinge part has a cam surface with which the wing-side end portion of the lever cooperates, wherein the cam surface is designed such that after reaching the maximum frame pivot angle of Lever is pivoted so that the frame-side end portion engages behind the stop surface and the pivoting of the hinge bracket is released to the wing hinge axis.
- In order to release this pivoting movement when closing the wing upon reaching the critical opening angle at which further closing is possible only by releasing the pivoting movement about the Zargenscharnierachse, the cam surface of the frame hinge part preferably has an effective range, the pivot angle of the wing to the wing hinge axis Closing limited and pivoted upon reaching the minimum pivot angle, the lever so that the frame-side end portion is disengaged from the stop. Due to this measure, the pivoting of the lever is again forcibly controlled.
- If the band according to the invention, as is particularly preferred, has a pawl arrangement of the type described on both sides of the hinge bracket, the operational reliability of the band is increased and it is avoided that the band is loaded asymmetrically by the actuating forces of the pawl arrangement.
- In the drawing -schematisch- an embodiment of a tape according to the invention is shown. Show it:
- Fig. 1
- the band with the wing closed;
- Fig. 2
- the band at an opening angle of the wing of about 70 degrees;
- Fig. 3
- the band at an opening angle of the wing of about 90 degrees;
- Fig. 4
- the band at an opening angle of the wing of about 180 degrees;
- Fig. 5
- the band during the closing of the wing at an opening angle of about 80 degrees;
- Fig. 6
- the band during the closing of the wing at an opening angle of about 70 degrees as well
- Fig. 7
- the band after completion of the closing of the wing.
- The designated 100 in the drawing tape comprises a frame, not shown in the drawing, in particular in a provided for this purpose in the frame mounting frame Zargenbandteil 1 and on a likewise not shown in the drawing wings, especially in a provided in the wing mounting space attachable wing hinge part 2. Further, the band 100 comprises a hinge bracket 3, which is approximately U-shaped.
- The hinge bracket 3 is pivotally mounted at one end by means of a Zargenbandzapfens 4 on the Zargenbandteil 1 about a Zargenscharnierachse S. The other end of the hinge bracket 3 is by means of a wing hinge pin 5 on the wing hinge part 2 about a wing hinge axis T, which is parallel to the Zargenscharnierachse S, also mounted pivotably. The hinge bracket 3 carries at its in the drawing above and below shown end faces 6, 7 each one belonging to a pawl assembly 8.9 lever 10, 11, wherein the lever about a to the frame and the wing hinge axis S, T parallel pivot axis U pivoted each by means of a pivot axis U defining screw 12, of which only the upper is shown in the drawing, is attached.
- Furthermore, in each case an extension is attached to the end faces 6, 7 of the hinge bracket 3 at the zargenseitigem end portion, in the drawing, in turn, only the upwardly projecting extension 13 can be seen. The extensions are arranged at a radial distance R from the Zargenscharnierachse S and each project into a link 14, 15, wherein each link extends along a Zargenscharnierachse S concentric arc of an angle of about 90 degrees.
- The longitudinal ends of the scenes 14, 15 form stops 16, 17 for the extension 13 and thus limit the maximum pivot angle of the hinge bracket 3 about the Zargenscharnierachse S.
- The Zargen- and the wing hinge part 1, 2 each comprises 2 cam assemblies 18, 19, which are each arranged above and below the hinge bracket 3. The cam arrangements of the Zargen- or wing hinge parts on both sides of the hinge bracket 3 are similar in their function and mode of operation, so that only the better recognizable in the drawing, shown above cam assemblies are to be described below.
- The cam assembly 18 of the Zargenbandteils 1, which forms a pawl assembly 8 together with the lever 10 and the cam assembly 19 of the wing hinge part 2 comprises a cam surface 20 which is parallel to the link 14 on a Zargenscharnierachse S concentric arc running. The cam surface 20 forms a contact surface for the frame-side end portion 21 of the lever 10, on which it expires during pivoting of the hinge bracket 3 about the Zargenscharnierachse S.
- As in particular in
Fig. 2 can be seen, the cam surface 20 is at its end shown in the drawing on the right about a radially extending Zargenscharnierachse S surface forming a stop surface 23 for the front end 24 of the frame-side end portion 21 of the lever 10 in a recess 22 on. - The cam arrangement 19 of the wing hinge part 2 has a cam surface 25 which runs along a concentric to the wing hinge axis T pitch circle. It forms a contact surface on which the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10 expires when the hinge bracket 3 is pivoted about the wing hinge axis T.
- The outer contour 29 of the wing-side end portion of the lever 10 is arcuate convexly curved. In particular
Fig. 3 can be removed, the cam surface 25 of the wing-side cam assembly 19 on the right side shown in the drawing in a concave shaped effective region 27, which is adapted to the design of the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10. - The function of the band will now be explained with reference to the drawing sequence.
- In the closed state of the wing, the extension 13 is located on the stop 17 shown on the left in the drawing, the convex portion of the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10 is in contact with the corresponding concave active region 27, which is located on the cam surface 25 of the cam assembly 19th followed. If now a pivoting movement is initiated by opening the wing on the wing, not shown in the drawing, so first slides the frame-side end portion 21 of the lever 10 on the cam surface 20 of the cam assembly 18 from. Since a pivoting of the lever 10 about the pivot axis U in the clockwise direction is not possible, the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10 remains in the in
Fig. 1 shown position and prevents so that the hinge bracket 3 can pivot about the wing hinge axis T. - The opening of the wing therefore initially leads to a pivoting of the hinge bracket 3 exclusively to the Zargenscharnierachse S until in
Fig. 2 shown position is reached, which is limited by abutment of the extension 13 to the stop 16. In this position, the frame-side end portion of the lever 10 is no longer on the cam surface 20, but is completely above the recess 22nd - Especially as a result of
Fig. 3 is apparent causes a further opening of the wing that the transition region between the cam surface 25 and the concave effective portion 27 of the cam assembly 19 runs at the circular segment-shaped end 28 of the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10 and so pivoting the lever clockwise about the pivot axis U causes. The result is that the frame-side end portion 21 engages in the recess 22 and is supported on the abutment surface 23, whereby the hinge bracket 3 is blocked against rotation about the Zargenscharnierachse S. - Upon further opening of the wing up to an opening angle of 180 degrees, the wing-side end portion 26 of the lever 10 slides on the cam surface 25, whereby the frame-side end portion 21 is held in the recess 22.
- Will the wing now out of the
Fig. 4 When the 180-degree opening position shown is closed again, first a pivoting takes place exclusively about the wing hinge axis T until the wing-side end area 26 engages again in the concave effective area 27 of the cam arrangement 19 (cf.Fig. 5 ). The sliding of this area on the convexly curved outer contour 29 of the lever 10 causes it to pivot about the pivot axis U in the counterclockwise direction, so that the frame-side end portion 21, the stop surface 23 releases again (s.Fig. 6 ). Further closing of the wing then causes only a pivoting of the hinge bracket 3 to the Zargenscharnierachse S, in turn, the inFig. 7 shown state of the tape is achieved with the sash closed. -
