  • When closing such a furniture flap, it can lead to relatively heavy shocks when the flap abuts against the front side of the furniture body.
  • The present invention has for its object to provide a fitting device of the type mentioned, in which the occurrence of shocks and impacts when closing is avoided as possible.
  • This object is achieved in that the force transmission element is formed by a pivot lever.
  • In this way, the toggle lever arrangement does not act directly but via the trained as a pivoting lever power transmission element against the damping device, which is disposed within the fitting device - if one of a suitably provided adjustability from - fixed.   • The fitting device according to the invention can be realized with relatively little effort. In addition to the damping device essentially only the power transmission element in the form of the pivot lever is required.
  • The idea of the invention can be realized both in fitting devices for one-piece flaps and in fitting devices for folding flaps which consist of flap elements which can be folded relative to one another.   • The damping provided in the inventive fitting device is particularly advantageous if the fitting device also contains a locking device, which becomes effective shortly before reaching the closed position, and which exerts on the flap a locking force directed towards the cabinet body. Such a locking device accelerates the flap when approaching the furniture body, so that the damping device has a particular effect here.

  3. Fitting device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the operating element (21 a) is represented by an operating projection (40) projecting from a toggle lever (10a).
  4. Fitting device according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the damping device (19) is held by a holder (42) provided on the body-side fitting (5).
  5. Fitting device according to claim 4, characterised in that the pivoted lever (27) is pivotably joined to the holder (42) via a swivel axis (28).
  6. Fitting device according to claim 5, characterised in that the holder (42) and the pivoted lever (27) together form a unit movable towards the and away from the operating element (21) and lockable in its respective position on the body-side fitting.
  7. Fitting device according to claim 5, characterised in that the swivel axis (28) is located on the body-side fitting (5).
  8. Fitting device according to claim 7, characterised in that the holder (42) is provided with a supporting section (46) supported in the direction away from the pivoted lever (27) on the body-side fitting (5).
  9. Fitting device according to any of claims 4 to 8, characterised in that the holder (42) is located on the top (44) of the body-side fitting (5), which faces the top of the cupboard compartment in the mounted position of the fitting device.
  10. Fitting device according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the damping device (19) is represented by a fluid damper (41) in particular a hydraulic damper.
  11. Fitting device according to claim 10, characterised in that the fluid damper (41) is accommodated in a bearing recess (47) of the holder (42).
  12. Fitting device according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the fluid damper (41) comprises a damper housing (48) containing a damper piston and a piston rod (49) projecting from the damper housing (48) in the longitudinal direction.
  13. Fitting device according to claim 12, characterised in that the damper housing (48) faces the pivoted lever (27) while the piston rod (49) faces away from the pivoted lever (27).
  14. Fitting device according to claim 12 or 13, characterised in that the end region of the fluid damper (41) facing away from the pivoted lever (27) is supported on the holder (42).
  15. Fitting device according to any of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the damping device (19) is adjustably mounted on the body-side fitting (5) for the adjustment of the start of the damping action in the closing process.
  16. Fitting device according to claim 15, characterised in that the end region of the fluid damper (41) facing away from the pivoted lever (27) is supported on a stop element (50) adjustably mounted on the holder (42).
  17. Fitting device according to claim 16, characterised in that the stop element (50) is represented by a set screw (51) screwed into the bearing recess (29) while being capable of tightening and loosening.
  18. Fitting device according to claim 17, characterised in that the end region of the piston rod (49) of the fluid damper (41) engages a location (52) on the set screw (51) with press fit.
