Diese Leistungsabsenkung erfolgt nur während des Batteriebetriebes des Staubsaugers 10, nicht jedoch dann, wenn am Netzanschluss 34 Netzspannung anliegt und die Energieversorgung des Saugaggregates 17 über den Netzanschluss 34 erfolgt. - Suction device in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the electric power of the suction unit (17) is lowerable by the electric power rating of the drive motor (29) of the brush roller (28).
- Suction device in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the electric power of the suction unit (17) is lowerable by at least 20%.
- Suction device in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a drive motor (29) of the brush roller (28) is connectable to the battery (31) independently of the presence of a mains voltage at the mains connection (34).
- Suction device in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction device (10) comprises a controllable voltage converter (45) connected between the battery (31) and the suction unit (17), and a control unit (51) which controls the voltage converter (45) in dependence upon the presence of a mains voltage at the mains connection (34).
- Suction device in accordance with claim 5, characterized in that the suction device (10) comprises a mains voltage recognition unit (49) which provides the control unit (51) with a control signal in dependence upon the presence of a mains voltage at the mains connection (34).
- Suction device in accordance with any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the suction device (10) comprises an operating state recognition unit (49) which provides a control unit (51) of the suction device (10) with a control signal in dependence upon the operating state of the brush roller (28).
